PS Plus fans, we’re pleased to share with you two excellent PS4 PS Plus games for June.

First up, to help get everyone hyped for the NBA Finals, we’ve teamed up with 2K to add NBA 2K16 to the June lineup. One of the most critically acclaimed sports titles ever, NBA 2K16 has tons of great gameplay for everyone. With robust offline modes like MyCareer and MyGM, and deep online modes including MyTeam and MyLeague, there is an incredible amount of content to offer all types of gamers. So be the baller you always wanted to be and guide your team to the NBA Championship.

Next up is Gone Home: Console Edition. Gone Home is one of the most talked about titles from the last few years for good reason. While it’s an interesting exploration/adventure game, it’s the narrative of Gone Home that’s so remarkable. The game has a strong development team, including Steve Gaynor, who worked on a few titles in the BioShock series. The Fulbright Company (now just Fullbright) created an intimate and unique story that is well worth your time.

    I don’t understand the hate for this line up. People wanted more “big” titles, and even if it’s not your cup of tea, NBA 2k16 is still a big AAA title, and a fairly recent one at that. Just be happy that they are dispensing high value games and cross your fingers that the next one will be more in your wheelhouse. As for me i’m going to give it a shot and see how I like it. I was not expecting much from Tropico 5, but have ended up playing and enjoying it a lot. Just be open minded and you might be surprised.

    Who plays basketball? Only Americans!!! PS not everybody in the world plays that “sport” it´d be better if you give americans their sport game,and fifa or pes fpr the rest of the world. stupid line-up, thanks for nothing

    hmmmmm the trollers are alive. You get a AAA sports game and indie game which was reviewed to be good and you complain. ps plus members also get discounts on games some which are triple A titles why dont you trollers go back into the hole you came from.

    I haven’t played NBA2K16, but it got 87/7.0 on metacritic (PS4 reviews). It obviously isn’t a bad game. I have played Gone Home, which is a snoozefest. It’s not necessary a bad “gaming” experience, but I would never pay full price for it. It used to be that walking simulators were free. They should have stayed free unless there’s something very special about it. There’s nothing really special about Gone Home. For free this month, there’s of course no harm in trying it.

    From a trophy hunter’s perspective, I would kindly ask that Sony try to consider the following –

    NBA2K16 has glitched trophies, making it impossible to platinum
    Little Deviants has been glitched for years. The only way to unlock one of the trophies is by spamming the people who beat the game within 6 months of release and have them accept your challenge. Extremely spotty.
    GoW:Chains of Olympus doesn’t have trophies on the PSP version (but does on the PS3 version)

    It would be greatly appreciated if the glitched games can be pushed for patches and that when possible the game version with trophies are selected over the version without.

    I saw some Killzone mentions. Guys, Killzone was just on sale for $5. If you didn’t get it then, I question how much you really want it.

      Totally agree with you man, I’ve bought numerous titles because they were like $15 to $20 beacuse they were discounted for us like 30 or 40% cheaper than the game normally.

    To those complaining that Xbox is getting AAA titles, here is their lineup this month:
    The Crew
    Super Meat Boy
    X-Com: Enemy Unknown
    Goat Simulator

    Granted, you could call The Crew and X-Com AAA titles, but The Crew was clunky and terrible, and X-Com is 3 years old. Personally, I’m not a huge basketball guy, but this lineup is awesome. First time I’ve ever seen a full-price game on PS+. It’s a trend I’d like to see continue. Keep up the good work!

    I have been subscribed to PS Plus for more than a year and a half and the only game they have provided that is good/great and has replay-ability is Broforce back in March. I play that game nearly every day and it never gets old. I just wish they would give a decent PS4 game every once in a while. The PS3 lineup is almost always good…they could do the same for PS4.

    Kinda mixed feelings. Last basketball game I played was nba jam on super Nintendo….but the price is right. Nothing to lose but time giving it and all the others a shot

    Just release Axiom Verge for crying out loud! It’s done with it’s initial sales and I am too afraid to buy it because I can guarantee that the next month after I buy it, you’ll make it a free download.

    I am not a sports game fan, but I must admit, I will download and play this one…give it a fair shake after all. Gamer Informer gave this one 9/10. Must not be THAT bad. Thanks PSN

      You’ll have access to it as long as you’re a subscriber. If you subscription lapses, just resubscribe and you’ll have access to it again. However, you need to download it in June or you’ll never have free access to it.

      It gets added to your library. You can download it anytime from your library. In 10 years time, as long as you have ps+ when you want to download it and play it

      NO.

      You do not have to download it in June.

      You can download it ANYTIME.

      The game is added to your library for download at anytime. You only need subscription.

    Not a huge fan of basketball but will still grab this game because it’s normally an expensive game which we get for free. I am however dissapointed because Xbox gave away battlefront which I’d be far more interested in

    GREAT line-up for me. I’m not a sports guy as far as video games go, but the 2016 season was a great year to get into the NBA. I was intrigued by NBA 2K16, and now it’s free. Sony will deliver as the year persists. The games are developing faster now and the ability to give old AAA games that slipped through the cracks to PS Plus subscribers will only increase. Thank you Sony.

    Another month of CRAP CRAP CRAP! it’s the sole reason I took off the auto-renewal on my ps PLUS. It’s always the same… pick the 2 games that no one buys to beef up their marketing. ALWAYS it’s the games NOONE BUYS. Sony…want some advice? JUST AT LEAST ONCE pick a game that people would actually pay for and people might actually WANT to continue subscribing to psPLUS.

      Never!!!! Pretty good game. Only problem is I spent like 40 hours doing side stuff and got bored, never finished the actual story. Would be nice to give it another go. It’s as close to Fable as any PS game will get.

      From what happened to me back on ps3, if you stop subscribing, everything you bought with ps+, wether it was even just discounted. You wont be able to play it.

      If you keep your ps+ subscription, you’ll be able to play it forever. But you’ll only be able to play it while you have a subscription.

    That line up is a pretty good selection of games there guys .
    Real life problems/finances are stopping me from subbing to PS+ at the moment , but if I had the spare cash I would be all over this months sub .
    Guys , you need to step back and realise not every months sub will exactly cater to your gaming tastes .
    Some will love B Ball , some will not .
    I personally love Indie titles ( which I have sadly missed from not subbing ) that have been offered over the last few months , yet I get some of you would like AAA titles .
    Playstation is our chosen platform , I am for sure sticking with Sony .
    Have fun and think on how lucky you are to be getting free games for the price of your sub .

      No month has catered to my liking. The games are not free, they are paid for with subscription. I would rather not have any games. I only want to be able to play online, like many others. PS+ is a joke!!!

    Why am I left out of NBA 2k because I don’t have a 4. Because I have a 3 I get Japan inspired games, BS! If I can’t get really studio big release games for the 3, then my Plus membership should cost a lot less. And anyone who post that I should get a 4, I’ll give you my address and you can send me a 4.

    I like how everyone complains and people say they are wasting money on ps plus. If you can’t afford 5 dollars a month then maybe gaming isn’t for you. For the people that say Xbox has better lineup then go buy an Xbox and sign up for their gold account and get their games. I just don’t see how people get so mad about the games each month, if you don’t like them then don’t worry about them and buy games you like.

    I have always hated sports games, but even this makes NBA look good. I don’t know why you’re hating on Gone Home. It looks like an amazing game. This would have to be on of the best lineups I’ve ever seen(keep in mind I’ve only had PlayStation plus for alittle under a year).

    Was reading the comments of unhappy customers again this months and one comment had to make me log in a respond. Another Playstation player saying xbox is giving better games and has more option like facebook and twitter.
    I thought a gaming console is a gaming console, pretty sure you can check your facebook and twitter only the other half dozen devices you have. Playstation 4’s motto from the start has been for the players. Now yes they could bring people AAA titles every single time. But thats not their motto.
    They are trying to get people to try new games, give indie developers a chance to get their games played and released. Yes im bummed about the lineup cause neither games appeal to me.
    Will i try Gone Home? yes because its not a AAA title. Will i look forward to seeing what discounts i get over the next month? Yes, i will be looking forward to more game like Firewatch this month because Playstation arent just about a AAA titles.

    so go to xbox if you want mass AAA titles and things that have nothing to do with gaming. I bought a ps1, ps2, ps2 slim, ps3 and a ps4 for gaming and nothing more, and thats what i will continue to do.

    Look forward to seeing what other indie games go on offer this month

      I hate the idea of paying Microsoft for anything, so no matter what their line up is i’ll stick with PS :)

      But I agree, it shouldn’t be ‘what they are offering’ versus what we have been given, PS has always been for ‘the gamers’ – and offering indie tittles that might be overlooked is a good angle… But a decent high end game every three months would be a bonus ;)

      I know I slated last months line up, but I bit the bullet and played tabletop racers and it was a lot of fun – and it was a game I’d not necessarily choose, so kudos to the team for bringing those games to ‘the players’ attention haha :)

    People have been giving PlayStation a lot of **** for their games they’ve been giving us, but we should be thankful that they’re giving us anything. I’ve not played an NBA game, so that’s new for me, and I’ve never even heard of gone home, so that’ll be interesting, and the PS3 sound interesting, I’ve never heard of them.. So I’m pretty hyped. Wish I had a vita tho.
