PS Plus fans, we’re pleased to share with you two excellent PS4 PS Plus games for June.

First up, to help get everyone hyped for the NBA Finals, we’ve teamed up with 2K to add NBA 2K16 to the June lineup. One of the most critically acclaimed sports titles ever, NBA 2K16 has tons of great gameplay for everyone. With robust offline modes like MyCareer and MyGM, and deep online modes including MyTeam and MyLeague, there is an incredible amount of content to offer all types of gamers. So be the baller you always wanted to be and guide your team to the NBA Championship.

Next up is Gone Home: Console Edition. Gone Home is one of the most talked about titles from the last few years for good reason. While it’s an interesting exploration/adventure game, it’s the narrative of Gone Home that’s so remarkable. The game has a strong development team, including Steve Gaynor, who worked on a few titles in the BioShock series. The Fulbright Company (now just Fullbright) created an intimate and unique story that is well worth your time.

      I think they come out during the first week in the month, and these will be available on the 7th dude ;)

    I’m not sure if it is a good line up or not, but as I’m not too bothered about sports games (I play the sports that I like out on the sports field ;)) I read up about Going Home and saw quite a few people loving it…

    Walking simulation lol – I walk too, but will give Going Home a try as it might be fun for a few hours :)

    Sirens on ps3, I’ve not heard anything about but will probably try that one too.

    I complained a bit last month, wasn’t at all impressed with May’s free games, but did enjoy table top racing. Feel the same about this month, not overly impressed but am willing to give these games a try :)

    For those who say ‘Sony don’t have to give us free games,’ well, actually yes, they do, as it’s the deal we signed up for ;) So please stop saying Sony don’t have to, because clearly you don’t understand the concept of contracts ;)

    Now I’m not expecting AAA games, but decent games are decent games, and that’s all I’d expect for a years sub that is cheaper than any AAA game on the shelf…

    It is a given that no-one person is going to like every month. Personally I hate sports games, but there are many who do enjoy them and I am happy that they get a good title this month. PS plus is $60 a year and everyone seems to complain if they don’t get a AAA title every month. Well it is never going to happen! Basic economics should tell you that.

    Sony also provides the games as a bonus for PS Plus members and this is not something that they have to do! You are not entitled to AAA games or any free games for that matter. The reality of it is that Sony is a business, you choose to buy their console, you choose to get PS plus. Beyond that Sony does not owe you anything and people should be grateful that they decided to offer the PS Plus perks, it is for online play through their network on their console. People are so ungrateful and selfish.

    Every month when I check to see what the lineup is, the comments seem to be nothing but people complaining. Be grateful for what is offered, if you want a AAA title or a new release…well try buying it! Support the developers. If you don’t like the games offered, then don’t download them! Pretty simple, or so it should be.

      In one paragraph you talk about the service costing $60 per year and in the next you are saying that the IGC is free (cancel that sub and see just how “free” those games are) and aren’t “owed” to subscribers. Sure, Sony could stop offering “free” games, and they would also need to be ready to pony up for refunds and possible advertising fraud… being that the IGC is advertised as a part of the paid sub, not a “bonus.” PS+ is required for multiplayer on the PS4, but that was not it’s initial purpose. A ton of subscribers do not own a PS4 and the IGC games and discounts are the only reason they are paying.

      To address the whole AAA thing, it isn’t going to happen? It is basic economics? LOL! I guess someone forgot to tell MS that since they have regularly been offering high tier indie games and AAA titles on a fairly consistent basis, enough so that I gave up on PS+ for LIVE and my PS4 gathers dust while my Xbox1 takes center stage. If Sony became more consistent in offering games like Ether One, Never Alone, Valiant Hearts, Rocket League, Ground Zero, Styx, Swapper, and Outlast their subscribers would be far happier and PS+ would have the prestige it once had.

    Have you lost complete touch with the gamer community? I’m a gamer nerd and have no care about sports or basketball, hence I play video games instead. Way to ruin the month and continue with this sucky trend of games I have no interest in playing.

    PS plus is $5 per month and you get 6 free games, tons of discounts, access to multi player and online game storage. Now take the free games out of the equation. It is still an incredible deal. I save way more than $5 per month in discounts alone.
    I have been a member since the begining and eventhough I am not rich, I now have a lot of games to play with my kids. I’m afraid Sony is going to stop giving free games if this multitude of complaints continue. Why should SONY endure the bad press month after month. Some even post about the superiority of XBOX free games. If you like the fact that SONY gives 6 games for $5 Each month speak up. Let SONY know more people support the free game line up and we want it to continue.

      Put it in your cart form the website and “purchase” it (it will show up as free). Once you get your PS4 it will be there waiting for you in your download queue. If you aren’t getting you r PS4 before September and you don’t have a use for PS+ outside of that, you may want to wait to pick up the newer version of NBA2K17.

    Sport games are honestly one of my most hated genre of games, I only somewhat like football and hockey, not basketball…im so glad playstation just keeps either A. Giving ****** games B.Indie Garbage or C. Games that barely anyone likes.

    This lineup is mainly in Celebration of the NBA finals. If you’re not happy with a 60 dollars game being free, suck it up for a month. Or, go play goat simulator on the One. Been holding out on buying 2k, because Fifa was a big time consumer in its own, but I’m happy with this! Go Sony!

      They are not giving you anything you are renting these games for about 5 dollars a month where as for 8 dollars a month xbox gives you the game an you can keep an play even if you stop your membership.Sony ps+ is crap if you have the brain to look at it.

    I extremely wanted NBA 2K16 and a triple A game from Sony for a while now. Now there both answered now my lineup of Madden 16 and NBA 2K16 is complete. Thanks Sony. Please continue with Triple A games.

    All you nae sayers out there remember… PlayStation is trying it’s hardest to appease everyone, however they can’t just give everything away for free so maybe it’s not your game you were hoping for this month. Remember you can always stock it in your library and Really people??? It still allows you to try it for free instead of blowing your hard earn cash!

      I paid for the membership, so its not really free. Most of these games are the equivalent of buying a child dollar tree toys for presents.

      Not free also without ps+ you cant play them so technically they are rental games.Xbox gold gane while 60 dollar for year of gold they do give you the game even after you stop the gold membership.So imo xbox gold is better.

    I like these. I got NBA 2k16 when it came out. Gonna sell the disc and keep this one. I’ll probably get that other PS4 game too. I also have a PS Vita and gonna get both those games. I didn’t like the May games for PS+.

      IGC is for PS+ subscribers, you you need the sub and to maintain it to have access to the “free” games.

    I bought my son this membership and system for xmas and all the games so far have been crappy, I would cuss but they might not post this. Gone home is the only game since we’ve had the system worth downloading and playing I’m excited. When does the game drop for us members? I have xbox’s and they are always ready on the first of the month and most of their games are good. I think it comes down to the owners being stingy. I would love to trade this system for another Xbox one, big clap for backwards compatibility.

      Really? You couldn’t see th $5 a month value in Tropico 5, Zombi, Grim Fandango, Bro Force, Helldivers, or Gauntlet? None of them were horrible. But since you weren’t a fan of those other titles, get ready for a disappointment when you find out that Gone Home is a rather generic walking simulator. The IGC games are always available when the store updates on the first Tuesday of each month.

    I’m not really a big fan of these choices. They’re both casual games where you watch things happening instead of actively participating and I hesitate to call either one a “game” as Gone Home is just a walking simulator with no objective and the sports one is basically just watching sports without real people. I think it would’ve been fine with one, but there should have been something with a bit more action and involvement in it to choose from for the other like how last month’s games were.

    This is getting so frustrating. Month after month we get either lame or trash games that should be free anyways. I’m so jealous of xbox one users. I guess 2k15 isn’t total trash, I just don’t like sports games. I really hope sony starts catering to their fans before people start dropping ps+. I’m starting to not see the point in it myself.

    As a former lover of all things Xbox, you PS USERS (myself included now) do realize that Microsoft charges you $60 a year and you get zero free games each month, right? Grow up kids. Youre not getting big name titles for what equates to $4.16 a month. Just stop.

      Actually xbox does give you the games where as ps+ is only as long as you stay subscribed an have online access.Where xbox you can still play the game even after you cancel your gold subscription.So before you make yourself look autistic do some research on the subject.

    Really a nba game come on ps+ is **** not only that they arent even free game they are rentals that you must stay subscribed to ps+ to play them at least with xbox you get to keep the game even if you dont have internet. Sony has lost my interest i was going to get the ps4k but now im rather get a wii u or xbox 1 an scrap the ps4 **** cause sony has gotten arrogant.

    First reply… From the business aspect, what do you expect. You can’t shell out aaa games or the games that still profit, every month. You pay for ps+ for discounts,online play and a pick of free games for multiple consoles every month. For ps4, there’s really not a lot to choose from like there is with the older platforms. I just don’t expect top tier. And we know how Sony’s business operates. A dash of stingy in everything. Cross platform play for example. Microsoft is down to go but Sony just won’t agree on collaborating.

    I quite like the look of this lineup, I’m not much of a basketball fan but I just download them all anyway and see if they are worth playing. Gone Home is a good standup game also!
