  • Yup, bought UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End, but still in it’s collector’s box. Finishing my last speed run on UC3 and then Brutal challenges for the Nathan Drake Collection. Want to savor the entire UNCHARTED franchise before delving into A Thief’s End.

Just give Naughty Dog and UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End the Studio and Game of the Year AIAS rophy already.

    • There’s no way it won’t get that award. Best game I’ve probably ever played. What’s your fav Uncharted game? Mine is Uncharted 4.

  • I’m looking forward to listening in! I love this blogcast! :)

I thought i was getting too old for videogames, but i just bought the Uncharted 4 PS4 bundle Monday night on a whim, and i feel young again! haha. I’m loving Uncharted 4. I’m on chapter 20 and plan to beat it tonight. This game is so epic! I hope there’s a dlc planned where there’s nothing but hanging out with Elena playing PS1 games though, lol. Cant decide what to get next after i beat UC4. I’m torn between Fallout 4, Witcher 3 and Dragon Age Inquisition.

    • Go in this order:
Dragon Age Inquisition – around 100 hours – Was addicted to lvl up faster, get great gears and kill all dragons. Also strategy involved.
Witcher 3 – between 130-150 hours – Also addicting to looting and epic story!
Fallout 4, havent played yet, but planning. – sure will be addicting for looting as well :)

    • Like Akmaljon said. Depending of which series you know/like more is the one to start with. I was never big on DA but I know Inquusition is great. Yet The Witcher 3 is probably the best on the list, with its slew of GOTY awards. Also with the witcher the last DLC come out at the end of May. Fallout 4 is great still haven’t beaten it yet, but just like the witcher there are multiple add ons already out to add value. Yet pick what one you feel like is the series you enjoy the most. Cause in the end there all amazing games. If your line mostly any RPGs then I would also recommend any of Dark Souls/Bloodborne, Dragon Quest Heros, and Final Fantasy X/X-2/Type 0

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I would prefer witcher 3 I think, but I’m gonna get DA:I first, because there’s already a GOTY edition. I finished Uncharted 4 last night, and really enjoyed the end. I can’t wait to see what Naughty Dog does next.

  • Is Justin’s idea of “long” anything longer than a paragraph? LOL because that didn’t seem that long. Or maybe Nick just reads fast. Anyways… Anybody seen Civil War yet?

    • Nevermind I’m an idiot I should have waited til the episode was over to comment *facepalm*

Civil War was pretty fantastic it’s right now my favorite MCU movie

  • I play to finish UNCHARTED 4
    A fantastic game and memorable
But expect a darker story had to end series

  • I still have yet to get/play Uncharted 4, but I might get/play it sometime soon. Too bad some of Sony’s fanbase can’t do let’s plays of this game on YouTube unless they want to get copyright strikes from Sony. That’s another thing why I’m giving Nintendo a plus and Sony a minus. While Nintendo at least lets their fans’ let’s plays of their games watchable and allowing them to keep their YouTube accounts/channel (despite giving them content ID matches and taking monetization away from them), Sony on the other hand removed let’s plays of (at least) Uncharted 4 (for now) (not counting the Ratchet and Clank game on the PS4 due to it being NBC Universal that is removing let’s plays of that game), and give whoever does let’s plays of this game a copyright strike. And everyone on YouTube knows what happens if you get three strikes on YouTube.

  • While I can’t find the commercial your dad is referring to it may have to do with Equinox or Solstice, Isometric action games. One of them had a print ad campaign about how the game would be passed down among generations until it was beaten. Here is a link to an ad for Solstice that references this difficulty Here is a link to the print ad for Equinox . Will look for the commercial.

  • By the way anyone else think Rafe in Uncharted 4 sounds like Steve Buscemi?

  • The background noise is so distracting. Is a miniature horse galloping in your office?

  • I’ve never played any of the Wild Arms series. Would I be lost story-wise if I started with #3?
