  • Small list this week but what more could you need than Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End? Can’t wait to play it Tuesday. I’ll pick up Doom when it drops in price.

    • What more could I need than U4, you ask?

    • TLOU 2, way more than any Uncharted.

    • What if not every game needed a sequel and the Last of Us could be the Last of it?

    • @ ijustw1n – That is how TLoU should be but of course that greedy Sony won’t let TLoU go without a sequel,Sony has a need to ruin their franchises, few can escape that fate. They already recycled TLoU for PS4….so it doesn’t really matter for them if TLoU had an end. We’re definitely getting TLoU 2.

    • CommandingTiger

      Uncharted 4!!!

I still find Uncharted better than The Last of Us.

    • Why is it greedy to release a sequel?

I mean if that’s the case there is no gaming company greedier than Nintendo.

Also why does it have to be Sony is greedy therefor they will make a sequel.

Rather than Naughty Dog put a lot of effort into TLOU 2 and they want to explore that universe more than once.

Why exactly is rereleasing TLOU and Uncharted games on the PS4 ruining them, or being greedy. I don’t know if you know this but a lot of people didn’t jump from PS3 to PS4, therefor rereleasing the game, allows new people to experience what they missed without having to buy a PS3 the game and all the DLC.

Your definition of greed is suspect. I imagine if there was a video game company that wasn’t greedy by your definition, they would quite quickly go out of business. Sequels tend to do better than the first game did.

  • First, and we all know what we’re getting this Tuesday.

  • Uncharted 4? I haven’t heard about that game. Is it good? I just might check it out.

    • I hear it’s pretty good.

    • Yes we all know it! The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth :)

    • uncharted 4 is a game that supposed to been released closer to the release of theps4–kept getting delayed over and over and over–and you haven’t heard much about this game–where you been

    • The reviews were pretty dishonest for this game, probably because people were either afraid of backlash from lower scores, or were paid off.. but I found the IGN review to be pretty honest. They gave it an 8.8/10 — still has issues from earlier in the series, but is otherwise a good game

    • “Dishonest reviews”?! Seriously?

You might be right, of course. I mean, it’s *possible* that all 71 of the reviews that currently make up the Metacritic score are dishonest and that the IGN review is honest (even though at the time you posted your comment, it wasn’t, you know, a final score or anything) …

But you’d have just a *little* more credibility if you had waited at least until May 10 to post such a comment. That way there would have been at least an outside chance that people would have imagined that you had, you know, actually played the game or something.

      Just saying.

    • larshar6

I don’t know how it was supposed to be a launch title when the first trailer of the game wasn’t even out by the time PS4 released. And products get delayed…we know this. Thanks for the generic information, mang.

    • “Dishonest”? lold.

    • I’ve never found IGN to be honest about reviews.

Didn’t they have someone who pretended he didn’t beat a game on easy, even though the ending he talked about, was the ending you only get if you play on easy?

There’s a reason why there’s a catch phrase “Can’t spell ignorant without IGN”

  • OMG!!! Thank you for finally putting the PS One classic, Einhander, on the Playstation Store! After all, it’s only been on the Japanese store for 8 years. The game has long been one of my favorites and it looks and plays great on my PS Vita. Oh, wait a minute…. I’m actually playing Einhander on my hacked PSP. Nevermind, my mistake!

    • You complain about it not coming stateside but then have a hacked version? Maybe that’s the problem.

    • Maybe you should ask on the blog of the creator/owner of the game : Square Enix. PlayStation doesn’t own the PS1 classics.

    • First rule of Hack Club, “You do not talk about Hack Club.”

    • You could also play it by just buying it from the JP PSN store and using a JP PSN account. Without hacking…

  • Doom is doomed! Lol

    • Lmao true!

    • As soon as Doom was being released this week, the exact same phrase came to mind lol. I love my FPS games, but Doom just looks so tired and stale from the previews with a lackluster single player campaign. I think they were aiming for old school feel like Unreal Tournament etc. I don’t think they pulled it off.

  • It’s a pretty small list of games coming out this week I have to say. However, I’m really excited for Doom on PS4. Loved Doom 1, loved Doom 2, Doom 3 is okay at best. I still have yet to play Final Doom and Doom 64 though.

    • While the Drop isn’t normally a complete list. I would say look at what is releasing this week and you’ll understand why. It’s insanity to release the same week as Uncharted.

    • Doom 64 was amazing. I wish it had split screen Multiplayer. Quake 2 did. I’m hyped for Doom 4.

  • Well, this feel strange to say, but I guess I’m getting all of the games this week. I may have a problem…

  • My wallet, nooooooo!

    (Vuvuzela sounds)

  • Aero_Guardian17

I have been waiting for Uncharted 4 since it was announced. I am ready. One last time.

  • Oh doom is out this week? So much for getting that.

  • This is the first time I’ll be getting every single title on the drop lol. Can’t wait for them all. Big Neptunia fan, big uncharted fan and been dying to get back into doom since the last time I played one was maybe 2003? Lol

    • Dont get too excited about DOOM. It plays like Unreal Tournament and looks like Quake. It doesnt have the feel or grit of a DOOM title. I t is a bit fun but I was expecting it to be alot better.

    • Don’t judge a game by the multiplayer beta. The single player has always been the focus of Doom games with the MP being an after thought.

  • TrueAssassin86x

Uncharted 4 and Doom that is all i need. Cant flip-in wait

  • Hi Ryan, Yayayay can’t wait to play Uncharted 4 tomorrow night at 11pm when it unlock,, Go Nathan Drake !!!!!!!!! i also getting Doom too. i already pre-loaded Uncharted 4 and installed it

  • My body is ready for uncharted 4

  • The hype is real for Uncharted 4!!!

  • HellBringer1975

funny , but i know way more people who are going with doom . i am grabbing both but i would go with doom way before uncharted if i had to choose just for the fact uncharted will be the same thing as the other 3 just bigger and after playing through the collection i dont feel to excited for it .

doom its not like there are tons of new style doom games and for fps horror fans on consoles this is the god of games and we have been waiting for ages for a new doom. O well who cares i bought both so thats fine but i am more excited for deadisland remaster at the end of the month then uncharted as after finishing 3 it really made me feel BLAAA 3 was horrible from story to the locations it was so bad also at the start like the first 4 hours .

  • Uncharted 4 + Doom. It feels like the best drop ever!!!

  • Aww nothing for me this week.

    • So that’s normal or do you buy one new game every week? Of course the question is rhetorical. Your profile shows that you clearly don’t buy a new game every week.

  • Can y’all start bringing more Ps2 racing claaics to the ps4 please. I would love to see Burnout Revenge, Gran turismo 3 and 4 and Need for speed Most wanted 2005. Those the main games I wanna see.

    • neorudemovement

Oh man, burn outs revenge. I think that one has my favorite crash mode ever, i just how it would load faster than the disc based game. Still have it for my backwards compatible ps3

  • Uncharted. It’s all my heart needs right now. Bring it on.

  • Pretty barren week for those that don’t like AAA games.

  • Uncharted is all pre-loaded on my PS4, and I can’t wait to play it! FINALLY, the last chapter of Uncharted is upon us.

I recently picked up King Of Fighters 2000 and like it a lot more than i thought I would. I would buy other KOF PS2 Classics if I could. I was never really into the series before, but this has turned me around in a way. I wouldn’t mind getting KOF 2001, 2002, 2003, or XI to try. I’m also now looking forward to KOF XIV coming out later this year.

On the note of PS2 Classics, I want Katamari Damacy as well. That’s all.

  • briibriiroyalty

Uncharted and Blanc for me :)

  • I can’t hardly wait to play uncharted 4 thief’s end and doom on ps4 on this coming saturday since I will have those two games arrive on friday the 13th since I pre-ordered them from amazon. Been waiting for long time for another uncharted game to play, that’s for sure.

    • I cant hardly wait for the reviews of doom 4 to make sure i am not buying another litchdom. (If you didnt know, litchdom is garbage)

  • For arcade fans, another new Tron Run/R DLC pack is out!

  • UNCHARTED 4 A Thief’s End

  • I love how apparently every game avoided colliding with the two AAA juggernauts releasing this week except MT Blanc+Nep. It makes sense, as absolutely nobody is going to say “I was interested in this Nep spinoff, but I’d rather buy UC4 and/or Doom instead,” but the image of a niche game about moe schoolgirl anthropomorphizations of game consoles facing off against two of the biggest franchises out there is pretty funny.

  • Dont mean to be rude, byt could you guys maube force litchdom to fix its sh#!. Its been weeks without a patch to fix the vomit inducing visuals.

  • Sorry guys but Uncharted 4 will be the great dissapointment of this year… remember well my words that’s all im going to say.

  • Started playing Uncharted 4 this weekend and it’s amazing. Graphics are spectacular, game play is smooth. A fitting end to a great franchise

  • feels like the whole list was not released on the blog as The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth is out on May 10th and The Magic Circle: Gold Edition is out too:

  • Don’t forget Binding of Isaac Afterbirth DLC come out this week!

    • Can’t wait… they said before the new year, so they took their time… here’s hoping it’s as amazing as the base game

    • Its just more stuff added to the game, of course it’s gonna be good.

  • Looks like everyone is staying out of Uncharted’s way.

  • Uncharted 4’s and Doom’s Collectors editions along with Deadpool on Bluray. Great week :)

  • There are very few games that I will spend 80 dollars on… Uncharted 4 is one of them.

  • I’m watching the countdown clock on my dashboard waiting for Uncharted.

  • Nep-Nep.

    …That is all.

  • I was aiming to finish up Uncharted today but never ended up playing any games at all. Tomorrow for sure…

  • What is this “Uncharted” you speak of? Never heard of it. Maybe have some advertisements or sites talk about it a bit :P Sadly, I won’t be able to get it just yet, but eventually. Might get the collection first as I’ve never played Uncharted games before aside from the collection demo.

  • Is this it for this week? Not interested in Doom, and Uncharted 4 can wait until its cheaper for me.

  • I just played uncharted on ps vita… Meh
    Doom no coop campaing? Meh

Problem is that i need playstation vr… I tried and i am unable to think in sonething else (thanks alienation to keep me interested on non vr games!)

  • I’d like to get Uncharted 4 this week, but I’ve gotta save that $60+ to pay for two “Captain America: Civil War” tickets and possibly food for two, afterwards. I’d wait to see the movie later, but the internet and social media will be wrought with spoiler buttholes and trolls, so I have to see it asap. T-T

  • Who cares about Uncharted 4 when we already have Dark Souls 3?

    • People who want a game that is fun and has an actual story, as opposed to overhyped, overrated garbage ;)

    • @ Seluhir – I can only assume mircoids is being a troll with that comment but you exaggerated a bit there calling DS3 garbage. Its overrated for sure but not garbage.

    • I just think Seluhir has to git gud.

    • The beauty of calling something ‘garbage’ is that it’s an opinion. I see no redeeming factor in the souls series…

They offer relatively simple gameplay with the only challenging mechanic being ‘memorization’, which is tedious but hardly difficult. And then, if you fail that memorization, the penalty is dramatically out of whack. They offer virtually no real story, all history… and there are plenty of games that manage to offer good history AND make it feel connected to the current events, whereas the souls games only offer pure history that feels completely irrelevant so I might as well just read about it on the wiki. They offer dry environments full of greys, greys, greys, and ooh.. SOME BROWN! They offer gameplay that is so awkward feeling that it takes ages to get used to it, which is why so many people defend it so vehemently… they want to feel as though the time they spent getting used to it means something so they defend it.

They’re among the worst games, by every possible metric I could imagine, that gaming has dreamed up. It absolutely and utterly baffles me that anyone likes them.

But again, that’s the beauty of opinions. The above is mine, you’re welcome to have your own.

  • Yes this week we are Doom nothing to offer nothing at all._._.. have a nice Week

  • I sold my BMW and quit my $6,474 a week at home job so I can play Uncharted 4 on Tuesday. No distractions.

  • I got a fever, and the only cure is to play Uncharted 4

    Starting tonight at midnight

  • nothing for me this week but at least we see mostly quality instead of quantity this time x’D

  • I cannot wait for Doom :)

  • Preordered Megatagmension Blanc + Neptune Vs Zombies from the NISA store awhile ago, I’m glad I’m finally going to get it alongside Trillion: God of Destruction. ^w^

  • It’s all about that UC4 baby, can’t wait.Shame that I won’t be able to fully play it on launch…damn 52gb download and damn Sony for not allowing 1 week pre-load.Sony needs to realize that its not everyone that has freakin NASA internet.

Getting Doom too in the future, game is great no doubt about it.
