  • Very hyped! RIGS is first on the list as i missed it at PSX.

    • How do you Schedule an appointment for the VR, I’m trying with the app but it’s not letting me.

    • did you ever figure out how to schedule an appointment with the app? it’s not letting me either. it all looks like it’s working fine until i click ‘schedule demo’ and it just brings me back to the previous screen.

  • YES! Finally an event post where I can say I will be there, because I’m going to PAX East on Friday :-D. Of this list I’m eager to see how ABZU is shaping up, and to try PSVR out for myself for the first time!

Will I get a chance to see any of you guys there, too? :-)

  • I really need to find an opportunity to try PlayStation VR. I’ve preordered it, but I’m concerned that it’s going to make me nauseous. I don’t do well on fair rides.

    • Yessss! I was hoping you guys would bring PS VR to PAX East! Can’t wait to try as many games as possible! Thank you!

    • How come you’re pre-ordering it 6 months out?

Well you have time to look up the return policy and ask amazon about the return policies for such an item. Or set up a fall back buyer. Someone who will buy it if it makes you sick. Also not all games will likely make you sick so keep that in mind that there may be a separate puke factor per game.

  • this is great news! can’t wait to try out rigs in a couple weeks.

  • Wow… literally no Vita games to show? WTH Sony -__-

    • It was officially stated long, long ago that Sony would no longer support the Vita. It’s not their fault. They gave us great first-party games and made a solid gaming platform, but it didn’t sell. Sony didn’t fail the Vita. The Vita failed Sony.

    • @PanTheMan16

I believe he’s including 3rd party games in that statement, which do have a place on Vita.

Also, Sony’s the one who set the Memory Card prices too high, not the Vita itself.

    • And not to mention, what about feature additions and other bugs that need to be fixed (but aren’t)? I’m not talking about the “stability” mask that Sony uses when they’re really fixing specific security holes and not the other problems that need fixing.

  • Hey, are there going to be appointments for trying PSVR or is it going to be first come first serve?

  • Nobody cares except for the small base of vita owners. I for one care more about the new top of the line games coming out for my ps4 than the games for my vita. My vita gets plenty of play with the great indie games for it but really most of us care more about whats new for the ps4. Other than the indies and rpgs my vita is only an extension of my ps4.

  • Hey PlayStation I’ll be at Pax East on Saturday too!!! Woooo Hoooo! Any chance to get the word out to other PlayStation MVP’s for a meetup? You know where to find us, hit us up ;-)

    I’ll definitely be stopping by!

  • I wish I could go only so I can play KoF XIV

    • I hope it’s the 24 characters demo, and not the same one we saw in the last 2 events with 9 characters. I hope they release a demo on PSN before the game’s release. I can’t wait for it.

  • So its Real, VITA is not a Sony..

  • Where is the Vita games….it is one of your Sony best creations.

  • I love that PS4 has a VR now, but I’m only anticipated for horror games but I don’t see any at all on the starting line up for the release so far, anyone has any idea when an actual horror game be release for the PSVR? (Looking for general walking simulator horror, so meaning Rush of Blood doesn’t count.)

  • Question: Will there be an online queueing or something that we can sign up prior to the event?

By the way, people. Bring your Vita and play it in handheld lounge! Play it while standing in line! :D

  • Can you share the booth number? I’m checking the mal and list of exhibitors on the app and don’t see you there…

  • According to a website named, there are 5 diseases/conditions that you can catch by wearing a VR headset that other people have worn before you did:
    – Cold and various types of Influenza (aka flu)
    – Strep Throat
    – Various eye infections such as Pink eye (aka conjunctivitis).
    – Meningitis
    – Head lice (Not a disease but certainly not pleasant)

Another website,, has an article that suggests the following these hygiene practices for wearing VR headsets:
    – Wipe the lens and foam using a microfiber cloth, the same kind you would use to clean glasses or a computer screen. Dab the cloth into water or soapy water, when necessary. Even better get one of our waterproof VR Cover that are easier to clean.
    – We recommend you wipe our waterproof VR Cover with non alcoholic anti bacterial wipes after every user and use alocholic wipes just every 10 – 15 users. The residue from alcoholic wipes can be a bit harsh on some people’s skin.
    – Use watch glass protectors or some other form of plastic to cover the lenses. This can help to prevent scratches.
    – Keep your VR headset somewhere where it won’t collect dust, use a can of compressed air to blow it out of any nooks and crannies.

  • Man, I really wish I went to PAX East this year. Missed last year too, and the year before I was too busy exhibiting at the Indie Mega Booth to check much out :( I really gotta hit up PAX East 2017…

  • I’m with you there, Sony didn’t have much of a presence the past 2 years so I didn’t really feel motivated to pick up another ticket.

Then they stop by this year, maybe with more games coming out they’ll head to PAX East 2017. I might pick up a ticket by then too.

  • That’s great and all. Can we get more than just indie devs at PAX South?
