I’m honestly amazed that we made it to this point. Back in late 2011, when we took our first, shaky steps into podcasting, I would never have believed that more than four years later we would still be going strong.

Hitting the 200 episode mark means that PlayStation Blogcast is officially serious business. I know I can speak for the rest of the gang when I say that we could never have reached this point without you. So: Thank you!

Today’s episode is suitably momentous, with three very special guests. So… let’s listen in.

  • SIC PARVIS MAGNA. Congrats on 200 episodes.

  • Awesome that you guys got Greg and Colin on! Downloading now! Happy 200th Episode Blog crew!

  • Nice logo Cory! Congrats on 200!

  • This is fantastic. Thanks guys!

  • Thanks for allowing Kinda Funny to be part of your moment. Congrats on 200 episodes, and here’s to 200 more!

Can’t wait to listen!! Best of both worlds, and when can we all play Division together?

  • CONGRATULATIONS on episode 200! I *love* the new logo! It’s so well done!

I cannot wait to listen to this episode!

  • Colin and Greg being part of the blogcast is the freaking best. The 2 best playstation podcasts together!!!

Congrats on 200, guys! Love the show.

  • Haven’t listened yet, but Colin better win the trivia contest.

  • Man, oh man…am I dreaming? Are we really 200 episodes in? So many memories…..

I (though, admittedly vaguely) remember the first episode (it actually wasn’t that bad guys haha), Sid breaking out those ‘very very’ ‘farm-fresh’ Sid-isms for the first time, the departure of certain previous members….. , fantastic interviews (Shuhei Yoshida, Scott Rohde, the guys at Telltale, team making Dragon Fantasy Book I & II, I could go on…), new faces–well voices joining the show, months of Dark Souls, Destiny, and Final Fantasy XIV talk, PS Vita launch coverage , PS4 launch coverage, E3 coverage, Playstation Experience coverage, and who could forget hours of off-topic movie, music, and TV talk, recipes and Sid’s Grocery Box ;)

Thanks for the two hundred episodes of awesomeness! Here’s to two hundred more! ;)

  • in Final Fantasy VI both Celes Chere and Gogo can use the Runic skill. You can select Runic from the status menu to add to Gogo’s usable abilities (not just mimic other abilities)

  • Congratulations, Sid, Nick, Justin, and Ryan (and Shawn)! What an excellent job you’ve been doing. Here’s to 200 more! :-D

P.S. Maybe more folks will finally understand my appreciation for Colin & Greg now, too ;-)

    • Just finished the episode. EXCELLENT show, guys! I’m honored to have my thought close the Meaning segment! And thank YOU for the kind words, too :-D

  • Been listening since day one. You guys are a regular fixture of my week and I love listening to you go off the rails and have in-depth discussions about games, movies, comics, memories, sauce, etc. From the side-splitting Sid-isms, to Nick’s poetic descriptions about underground music and film, to Justin’s apparent superhuman ability to marathon games and yet still have time for a life and job, and Ryan’s vast knowledge of oldschool anime and K-pop, I think I speak for many listeners when I say that you guys will continue on for at least another 200 episodes. Congrats!

  • Congrats on 200! You guys are the greatest!

  • Are the 2 words Shawn can´t say Crash Bandicoot? Come on… why? This should have been sorted out by now :(
Crash has zero value for Activision, nobody wants a Crash by them.
As for a Crash developed by Sony, it would be a dream for many of us PS fans.

    Makes me sad.

  • Congrats on 200!

  • congrats to the number 2 playstation podcast in the world.

  • Happy 200th Episode guys. So glad to see you all do it big for this episode. Love seeing Greg and Collin on the show. You all need to get together with them and have them on the blog cast more and get in there with the pr department. Great episode. Can’t wait for Dark Souls 3!
And here’s to another 200 episodes guys.

  • Congrats on ep 200. Like a fine whiskey, the blogcast keeps getting better with age. I look forward to 200 more.

  • Congrats on episode 200! What bothers me is the title “ps we love your too.” I have not seen or notice that love yet, perhaps I have missed it; and hope to see it in the future.

  • Colin & Greg? Wow! This is gonna be amazing to listen to! =D

Congrats on Episode 200 podcast crew!

  • I have a PS3 question. I have PS3 A that has 165 digital games totalling over 1TB. I backed up all the games on an external HDD. I got a second PS3 B. I was unable to put the backup data from A that is on the external HDD to B because of copyright restriction. So, I decided to do a data transfer from A to B with the hopes of using the backup data from A on the external HDD to re-load A. However, per the FAQ, the backup data from A on the external HDD won’t work on A anymore if I use a data transfer from A to B. So, the only way to put my 165 digital games totalling over 1TB on B, is to re-download them from PSN. Why is that? I do not have to do that with the Wii U nor the Xbox 360. Sony, please support plug and play with external HDD on the PS3. Stop piracy is important but if Microsoft and Nintendo can have a workaround, why can’t Sony? Thanks.

    • This is probably a question better suited for the support forums, in order to get helpful responses more quickly, and to keep the posts on here more on topic.
Backing up to an external drive allows you to keep a back up for the PS3 system the data is originally from, but you cannot restore the data onto a new PS3 system. Instead of using back up and restore, use the Data Transfer Utility to avoid having to redownload all of your content again. Just keep in mind that this moves the data rather than copying it, which is why it will no longer be available on your original system after the transfer. You can, however, redownload the data onto the original system if you wish to have all of your content on both PS3’s. Hope that helps.

  • Thank you for having Colin and Greg on, this was a real treat to listen to!
Will start listening to this podcast as well regularly along with PS I Love You XOXO and Beyond!

  • all u guys shud team up my fav podcast yet

  • A crossover of my two favorite podcasts! Congrats on 200 episodes!

  • Guys, We need a huge sale for PSP games. I know we will be able to download the games from other devices after this month but, It would be a nice way to recognize that great little handheld one last time.

P.S. Yes Colin, I still have my PSP 1000 & 3000. Even guys in their 40’s like a good portable game from time to time.

  • Sid’s willingness to forego his Shamanic name makes the shoe. Show.

  • Finally got stitcher app on my phone the other day so I’ll be more of a regular listener now. Congrats on 200.
