One brutally difficult platformer, one heart-warming, coming-of-age story. This month’s PS Plus lineup has a great mix of flavors and you’ve come to the right place for the details! Starting on the first Tuesday of the month, a new lineup of free games comes to PlayStation Plus members, including Super Meat Boy and Broken Age on PS4.

Super Meat Boy will challenge even the most devoted platforming players with teeth-grinding levels, insane obstacles, horrible traps, and smiling chunks of meat. Yum! Can you stand against the gory onslaught of near-impossible tasks in Super Meat Boy? You’ll find out soon enough…

PS Plus: October 2015

If that’s a little too intense, why not point and click at things, instead? Broken Age is joining the PS Plus lineup, too! In it, guide two teenagers through strangely similar circumstances but on two different worlds. With a gorgeous soundtrack and award-winning cast, Broken Age is perfect for gamers that grew up with the adventure genre. Or people that just want to hear some jokes. Jokes are always good.

Last thing! Driveclub PlayStation Plus Edition will no longer be available as a free download for Plus members starting on October 6th, 2015. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, be sure to go to PlayStation Store now before October 6th!

    People pay 50 euros a year to get 50 euros worth of (new released) games every month and they still complain. Wow.

    Really happy about the lineup, cant wait to play Super Meat Boy and Broken Age on my PS Vita :)

    Let’s talk about my feedback. I love indie games, you know, and i loved FEZ, Velicity and so much indie games. Super Meat Boy and Broken Age seems like those and i’ll play them on my Vita.

    But come on, Sony. Let’s talk about something: you should think about variety!!! This year, for PS3, you only give FPS and platform. For Vita, holy ****, only the same games, and games like that Rabbit one, which no one ****ing cares!!!

    Think about your supporters! Give RPGs, Fighting games, PS Classics games. I DON’T KNOW, THING ABOUT SOMETHING FOR THE PLAYERS GOD DAMMIT!!!

    Your slogan need to change: For the PS4 gamers. Vita and PS3 gamers are abbandoned. Sony don’t give a damn even in PS Plus.

    Last year PS Plus was so good. This year I missed 3 months and i don’t know right now why i signed again. I don’t want AAA games, i only want more variety and good games. PS4 line up this month (even if it’s cross-buy) was pretty good. But Unmechanical, KickBeat and Kung Fu Rabbit was a joke, right?

    So was the voting thing only last month? I thought it was going to be every month… I already own all these games, so nothing for me this month – but they are all great games and people should focus on the good things they have instead of pooping themselves every month over nonsense. I take my child to McD’s for a happy meal every now and then and pay for. a. happy. meal. Sometimes she already has the free toy that comes as a bonus, sometimes she doesn’t think it’s a fun toy that was a free bonus. She doesn’t cry, she doesn’t tell me she doesn’t want me to buy her happy meals any more – she moves on with her life.
    But for real about the voting – did I miss it?

    also not to forget to mention that you’ve removed the survey button about what we thought about last month’s offering… really nice.
    Maybe if sales wise PS4 wasn’t doing so great i think the games here would have been a lot better

    Still fresh PS Plus subscriber, and it is always good to get something free. But …
    With latest games given I can´t help to feel disappointed. I don´t expect AAA games or whatever…just give us some Sony gems we liked in the past. Some remakes. Anything but that it feels like we´re having Playstation experience…

      Because it’s a bunch of **** indie games that I can get 5 for a dollar on my PC. I want what xbone gets, at least 1 AAA a month. If Sony can’t deliver, I’m going to switch. Either way I’m paying annually to play online, but one way I’m getting some good games, the other I’m getting indie games I either got on my PC for significantly cheaper or are crap and I don’t want to play.

    At least one horror themed game would have been appropriate for October.
    I would have gone with:

    ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE (PS3)

    GHOSTBUSTERS (Activision version) (PS3)

      I would probably pick different games, but a horror themed list would have been neat.

      And im willingly to re roll for any of the games on ps4. Will probably try broken age, though.

    Having subbed for over year I got to say the PS+ free games lineup has been absolutely terrible mediocre tripe for the most part. about 85% of the free games are little better than shovel ware. The rest have been mixed between good and to late to be considered good.

    It is a travesty that we are forced to pay a sub to use online features when we already are paying for an ISP. Sony does not host the online game servers. You’re basically charging for voice chat, which I can do for free with ventrillo and team speak.

    Every game i need PS+ to play online I can play online for free on my PC, some of those games I can even play cross platform.

    Tell me again why we have to be charged an additional fee to play online?

    Just horrible. What next ? Candycrush ? I’d pay Sony $50 just so that they could keep those games off of my ps3, ps4 and vita’s storage space. The only full game that was worth a crap,and that we’ve got on ps4 with ps plus, was Injustice. (Ground Zeroes is basically a demo, and the Drive Club ps plus version was a watered-down version of the real game.) The only decent good game we’ve got for the vita was Killzone Mercenary. The ps3 has had a much better ps plus lineup in comparison, but still too damn many kiddie, indie games on that system too. Multiplayer should shouldn’t cost extra since the cost of the multiplayer portion of video games is built into the price you paid for the game. Not to mention, unless it’s a 1st part game, the games aren’t running on Sony’s servers, it’s running the the game dev/publisher’s servers.

    Patience?…wow is this for real?…the PS3 and Vita free games won’t even get a pic?….thats the good NEW Sony,trying their best to exclude PS3 and Vita.
    Anyway its very good to see Unmechanical there,that game looks really good,almost bought it when it was on sale some weeks ago glad I didn’t and Chariot looks good too.These 2 are the best offerings.
    And is this supermeat boy that x**** game that was released there years ago?….yep for free is/was the only way to go with it.

    I’ve subscribe PS Plus since the first days with a 5 month pause somewhere between these 4/5 years and I never had a reason to complain about it, people say there aren’t many AAA games to offer but the truth is there are a few of them (100+ of them,), if you are going to give us only indies for ps4 for now atleast give us a decent AAA on Christmas, and Outlast for Halloween wouldn’t be a bad idea tho

    I’m not really a fan of this month… Already have Super Meat Boy, Unmechanical and Broken Age on other platforms, and I have Kickbeat on the Vita already. I prefer the months with new releases and full retail games much better.

    Very disappointing line up for two consecutive months. Each month needs one widely acclaimed game, a “star of the show”. LIMBO, MGS: Ground Zeros, OlliOlli2 (while it was still brand spanking new), and Oddworld: New & Tasty those were good months. Broken age or Super Meat Boy are a lame co-feature. Just give us one decent game a month and I’ll be fine if the rest is filler. I’m not throwing in the towel on PS+ yet, hoping next month is better.

    While I am not thrilled about the games included this month, I do have to say that I find it very cool that PS4 has been getting 3 or 4 games a month! Sure, I would rather have 1 game I am definitely going to play over 4 I might play, but I have also been surprised by how much I like some of the games I thought I wouldn’t. Still hoping, though, that PS+ for PS4 eventually begins to offer games on a monthly basis that equate the games that used to be available on PS3.

I’m afraid the subscription is getting worse the longer people stay. Level up your games lineup Sony and stop with the cross play platform crap, because by doing that, you’ll give us another set of insignificant games, better to play AAA games per platform than nothing at all. I can’t even recall the last time you offered decent AAA games. Most importantly, when will you listen to your subscribers?

    Other than Super Meat Boy (which I honestly thought was an XBOX exclusive) this line up is absolutely awful. I don’t like spending $60 a year for a bunch of crappy inde games which, lets all be honest, nobody really plays… Except maybe Journey, Flower, The Unfinished Swan… That’s it…

    Do you? Is Sony actually going to do something with it? Because between the constant indie games in Plus, the consistent lack of requested PS4 firmware features, and how horribly neglected PS Blog Share is, I doubt Sony even cares. Even this post feels phoned in. Four of the games weren’t even worth telling us about.

    It’s October. We have been given eight AAA retail games in 2015.

    In 2013, we got 23.
    In 2014, we got 22.
    In 2015, we’ve got eight so far.

    Guess what my feedback is.

    Well, this lineup is perfect argument for XBOX and its subscription plan.

    When I pay 1300 CZK (approximately 53USD) for a year subscription and first two months are games like this… I’m starting to regret on buying PS4. Not a single one isn’t at least touching my interests. What is PS+ for? Just multiplayer? Welll XBOX has it too and let’s face it: has a waaaaay better lineup… It is actually a shame to compare XBOX subscription and PS+… PS+ is not worth the money…

    Please, dear Sony: think about the games. Realy. Think about them.

    This is awful. I am so glad I cancelled my ps+ subscription from renewing a few months ago! Ever since the PS4 was released and Sony decided to charge their customers for the privilege of using their console to play online, the PS+ line-up has been absolute tripe! And taking away Drive club!? After initially promising the whole game for free to all PS+ members and then only releasing an extended demo over a year later than its original release; that is just unforgivable.

    month 10 of my membership and still not a game worth downloading halloween is just around the corner and not even a scary game included come on playstation give yourselfs a good shake and supply your costumers with have descent games to download each month and not a pile of rubbish as thats all ive seen this past 10months hopefully yous make a bit more of an effort in 2016 or i can safely say you will be losing customers thats for sure

    Subscriber for almost 4 years… Worst. Lineup. Ever.

    Games have really been horrible for the entire 2015 (a very few select exceptions).

    I think it’s time to stop dishing out $50 / year… at least with that money I could buy ONE game per year that I would enjoy playing.

      I didn’t buy PS4 to play games which can run even my ultrabook with integrated GPU. Not mentioning that these games are all overpriced on stores so the “value” is just imaginary.

    Which one is it?
    Sony promised every single month will have a triple AAA game for ps3 atleast.
    For the ps4 I can understand why…
    But PS3 AND VITA? NO TRIPLE A’S Games?
