    I cannot count how many hours me and my friends sunk into twisted metal 2. So many hours figuring out level dynamics for each event that could happen if you do certain things. Excellent game and my favorite on PlayStation.

    Voted for Both fear effects, because not only the games are pure awesome, but neither of them are available as ps classics through psn…

    Make that happen people!

    But honestly… It’s hard to choose through so many great memories… So I decided to choose games that are unavailable today through digital means… :D

    To be honest, shouldn’t any press conference that Sony attends be livestreamed on the console? I’m shocked that this may not be the case for TGS

    Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy IX for me! Looking at this list reminds me that I need to play Suikoden II. Sitting in my PS Vita for that right time to play it :)

    there probably some for me, but is pretty much 3rd parties game and back then I hardly play a playstation, let alone a Nintendo 64.

    Wow, this is tough…

    If I had to narrow it down to 3, I’d say MGS, FFVII and Gran Turismo. I really can’t choose from those 3, they’re equally great in my eyes in each different genre.

    The original Playstation came out at an awesome time for me. Between middle school and high school. This was also that golden era where a majority of your time was spent hanging out and crashing at your friends houses, Although there were countless moments like this, one that stands out for me is when Resident Evil came out. None of us had ever seen anything like it. From the opening video, it had a group of teenage boys (men of course) glued to the TV, scared to go grab the next soda or pizza slice. We stayed up all night taking turns. And yes, we especially appreciated the horrendous script, which turned it into an instant cult classic for us. (I still call my gf the “master of unlocking things”, mostly when she isn’t.) That was one of those moments where you thought games will never get better. Glad we were wrong! But also Cheers!

    WaRHawK for PS3 was and still is the greatest PlayStation game of all time! I believe if every gamer had the opportunity to try this game for just 10min. they would agree. We need a sequel on the PS4 ran off the same engine!

    By far Legend of Dragoon. This game was beautiful. Both in story and in ability to portray a team in a fantasy based game. Many people will say FF7 was the best PS game of all time…but they are wrong. Please remake LOD asap for this new generation of consoles. People will love it as much as we did back in the 90s and i cant wait to see Dart back in action with his crew of Dragoons! Or perhaps…a new generation altogether ;) lets do it Sony!!

    mgs,megaman legends 1 and 2 , final fantasy 8 , the legend of dragoon , xenogears , wild arms 2 ,tomb raider , crash team racing , crash 3 , resident evil 2 and 3 , gran turismo 1 and 2 , ape scape , another rpg that i like most was Arc in tthe land 3 , parasite eve 1 and 2 omg the time where the games was EPIC and WONDERFULL PS1 FOREVER

    Tonnes of great games in the PS1 era but my favorite was without a doubt Metal Gear Solid. It was before it got extremely convoluted and things still made sense without having to check Youtube for some fan who dissected the whole series in extreme details. It was the first “Hollywood” game in my opinion, ironically enough since it came from Japan.

    Is this seriously a question? The Legend of Dragoon takes the cake along with the rest of the bakery lol I shouldn’t have to say anymore but the story along with music, characters, magic, everyone’s own unique transformations, way of battling, being able to experience different countries, summonings and boss battles are absolutely flawless. Everyone who had a hand in making it is pure genius and i would definitely buy 3 copies of a remake or whatever (one for playing, another for a back up and the 3rd for keeping in mint condition as a trophy lol) If I forgot anything I’m sorry lol but my opinion, this game is and forever will be NUMBER 1 (with the Metal Gear series as a close second) lol

    LEGEND OF DRAGOON! Love this PS1 game, and for years uv wanted a sequel! But now that more than a decade has past since its last release, either a remake or prequel will do. (Dragon campaign, or the previous generation of dragoons would be cool). Also on a side note I also voted for Crash Team Racing because, well, its on par with Mario kart in its day! Dingodile ftw! Sony get back Crash from Activison already, hes a better mascot than Sackboy.

    The legend of Dragoon was an actual masterpiece. I played through it numerous times after the first play through. It’s such a dynamic game with the addition system, multi-tap magic and versatile party features that the combat was ahead of it’s generation by miles. It was definitely in the class of Final Fantasy at the time if not higher and deserved a sequel like no other. When these characters felt pain, you felt it. Without leaving any spoilers, everyone knows that after disc one you were missing someone terribly and that unless he was avenged you weren’t going to be satisfied at all. Meeting the different characters that came from different walks of life shows you innovation ahead of it’s time meshing together different cultures and nationalities within the game to push towards an equal goal. This game was my favorite of all time, and if there is an HD remake, a sequel or anything in those lines I would pay money for it the instant it was released and would never regret a single penny of it.

    Dude… Hardest choice, for me Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 8 are the best games ever made… But there is other games that are fantastic too, Alundra is incredible, Chrono Cross is a master piece, Bomberman Land isawesome too and Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2… But FF7,8 are really the best master piece of humanity

    I would love to see Legend of Dragoon remade for ps4 it is my all time favorite game I even take my user name for just about anything from it (main characters name was Dart) there is no game I would rather see remade for ps4 more than it.

    i would like to see the winner games. get on the PSN if they are not there already (so the vita and other system can play them), if the games are already on the PSN give them a sale

    Metal Gear Solid, hands down! I still remember the easter eggs, fighting Physcho Mantis, the story, graphics, etc. Insane!

    Tomb Raider for me. That was the game that REALLY got me back into gaming. I was blown away with the 3D world even if Lara’s boobs were dangerous weapons lol and lets not forget about locking the butler in the freezer…Ahhh, good times indeed. Thank you PlayStation for all the amazing memories and many more to come :-)

    Final Fantasy VII. It’s the game that made me buy a Playstation in the first place. When I saw the trailer on tv for the game I was in awe of the cinematics and as soon as I bought my PS FF was the first game I bought for it

    So many great titles that I remember playing as a kid. Not really knowing what to do. Except in Crash. Where things were pretty self explanatory. Was only about 6 years old. Some people call it the PSX, but the PSX is a completely different device. Japan exclusive, though.

    SOCOM launched PlayStation online multiplayer.
    It was one of the highest voted remake requests on the PS blogshare site.
    Why it’s not on the list boggles the mind.

    I LOVE dino crisis 2 and spyro 2. Both are incredibly amazing games that I play to this day and made the PS1 awesome to me the most. I really hope Sony lets the PS4 play PS1 games.

    Warhawk for sure! It didn’t matter what game I bought as soon as I finished it, I was right back at warhawk. The game had an amazing multiplayer that was filled with an amazing community.

    Legend of the Dragoon all the way! So many hours and countless memories with my brother,shredding enemies and learning strategies. I love that game to this day!
