  • Until Dawn was REALLY REALLY good. Glad to see it place so high on the list.

Though Yu-Gi-Oh being up there is pretty surprising.

  • Until Dawn was fricken awesome. Glad it’s up there. Hope it does well enough for a sequel of sorts. Also happy to see rapture up there as well.

And Despair another episode. Looking amazing on my vita TV.

  • I can’t believe Square isn’t screaming for Ps classic support on the Ps4.

  • Is this some kind of joke Madden NFL 2016 at number 1 on PS4 list? They’re the same game each year.

    • I guess that means you haven’t played Madden 16, which is actually a HUGE improvement over the past few years.

    • Madden is # 1 EVERY year. It is the ONLY football game every year, not the same. Thats like saying the NFL is the same every year. Call of Duty is closer to the same game every year than madden.(every half-year?)

  • Sad to see that Galak-Z didn’t chart. More people need to play this gem…

  • Wow… Rocket League still topping charts even after being offered for free! That just proves how much PS Plus is worth it.
I’m really curious about Until Dawn… Maybe I’ll buy it at some point.

  • Congrats to Until Dawn and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture on being #4 and 5 in sales. Both well deserved! Also really happy to see Rocket League still selling well even after it was free all of July. The DLC was #1 too. One of my favorites of the year for sure.

  • Happy to see people downloaded Danganronpa 1 & 2 likely in preparation for Ultra Despair Girls. Here’s to hoping that one makes the charts for September, it’s the kind of game that Vita really needed.

  • Its always interesting to see what games people buy. some games i wish more people bought and there is always a few games i never understand why people buy them.

  • Ya can we please get PS Classic support on PS4.

  • rocket league best ps+ offer for this year so far. Not surprised its in top 3, but surprised that it isn’t in top 1

    • They did give it as PS+ free all of July, so the August numbers are just those people that despite having PS+ (PS4 online play requires it), didn’t bother downloading in July.

Maybe they the people that bought PS4 in August, and not in time to grab Rocket League for free in July?

Either way, it takes a special game to be near top of charts the month following being offered for free.

    • @cusman I’d wager its a lot of people who tagged it as free but didn’t bother downloading it until they’d seen more of it.

  • Final Fantasy VII back where it belongs at the top of the PS1 Classics chart.

I also think PS1 Classics should work on PS4. I really don’t think it’s hard to emulate a PS1 chip with the PS4. Not sure why this hasn’t happened yet.

  • If hackers are able to run PSOne games flawlessly on an Android from two years ago, Sony could DEFINITELY pull off perfect PSOne emulation on the PS4. If the PSP/Vita could handle it, so can the most powerful home console in history.

I would be stocking up on a lot more PSOne Classics if I could play them on my PS4.

Or, maybe cut out just one of the six indie games you add every month to the IGC, and replace it even with a B-class PSOne classic. Everyone wins.

  • Nice. Until Dawn

And Danganronpa games made it into the chart. So good!

  • I bought BOTH Yu Gi Oh and Sword Art Online: Hallow Fragment on PS4 last month and BOTH are wonderful games! hope to see more of Sword art online and yu gi oh on PS4 :)

i suggest everyone to buy both games really good

  • Great to see Until Dawn on that list. Great game and worth the wait.
Loved the story and it was entertainingly fun to Platinum.

Sony needs to give Super Massive games the green light for Until Dawn 2 or at least add nice expansion/DLC to the game with more different deaths, outcomes and endings :)

    My .02

  • Chrono Trigger is still selling yet again Squeenix wants nothing to do with it, such a shame.
