Limited Edition Destiny: The Taken King PS4 Bundle Out This September

Hark, Guardians! Meet the newest member of the PS4 family, the Limited Edition Destiny: The Taken King PS4 Bundle available on September 15.

The package will include a white Destiny-inspired 500GB Limited Edition PS4 system and a physical copy of Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition, which includes Destiny, Expansions I and II, and The Taken King. You’ll also get an upgrade to the Digital Collector’s Edition, which includes the following content: three exotic Guardian class items with XP bonuses, three classic-specific emotes, three armor shaders, as well as the early access weapons pack.

As you can see, the design showcases a map of the cosmos in silver with the Guardian’s crest set in gold right in the center – a beacon of hope in a besieged solar system.

If you watched PlayStation’s E3 Press Conference, you know that Destiny: The Taken King adds a gigantic amount of new content. Highlights include a new Campaign adventure complete with a new story, new Guardian sub-classes with new Supers, new activities, new rewards, new weapons, new PvP maps, and much, much more. If you haven’t jumped into Destiny yet, this is a great opportunity to catch up since it gives you all content from launch. Also, existing players on PS3 can update to this version on PS4 without losing any progress.

And of course, PS4 owners score access to fresh PlayStation-exclusive content*: a co-op Strike (Echo Chamber), a PvP multiplayer map (Sector 618), three legendary gear sets (Hesperos, Azoth Bend, and Neuroghast), plus an exotic scout rifle (the Jade Rabbit).

This is a step in the right direction, meaning we in America want special edition consoles like Japan and sometimes EU have gotten over the years. And more colors than black or white. I bought the first Destiny edition because it was ASCOB (any solid color other than black) and I added purple decals.

I would buy a Kingdom Hearts SE, or Persona 5, a Dark Souls. So much possibility to sell even more PS4’s so think about it and then take action, Sony Platforms Marketing division, please.

Ugh… I bought the Ps4 on launch day, then the batman arkham knight edition a few days ago, and now I’m going to have to buy a THIRD ps4…
Sony.. You really do know how to take my money, but I’m okay with that. Damn you and your limited edition systems! I MUST HAVE THEM ALL!
It kinda annoys me a bit, knowing that I’ll be purchasing another one so soon, but it’s worth it. Resale value alone once they’re all out of stock is worth it. Saying that, I’ll keep this just because I love Destiny.

I’m not an MGS fan since I’ve never played one but that SE is simply gorgeous. Probably the most gorgeous console ever I won’t import one since I’ve never played MGS, but if it were available locally I would trade in my launch boring black and buy that gorgeous red PS4.

damn Sony this looks real sweet im liking this PS4 but Why not 1TB? you know Sony will release a 1TB soon after even if its all plain Black.. i feel it coming for the holidays.. who agrees? this is just a way to make more money because they know ppl will jump on the 1TB edition….

on another note: i smell a Call of Duty Black ops 3 1TB PS4 on the way! i said it first!!!

While this is absolutely lovely, I would chew my thumbs off for a raspberry pink console. (Then, of course, I wouldn’t be able to look around or sprint, but you know what I mean.) Sure would be nice to be able to pay extra to get consoles in the colors we desire most!

But as I said, this is a fantastic bundle, and if I hadn’t given up on Destiny, I’d be on this like white on rice.

Pre ordered the taken king digital collectors edition and then this comes out…. Not only would I be paying for another system but paying twice for the same game.

  I’m buying the Physical Edition in store (mishap with the online portion of gamestop) and I’m hoping to buy this PS4 as well. I’ll give whatever codes I can to my friend while keeping my other codes +disc for myself. I love Destiny and I know most of my friends abandoned it, but I’d still play it. I would have been happier if it was 1 TB, but I think Sony wants to make more money come the fall.

I was really hoping for this to be the announcement the Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain PlayStation 4 was coming to America. There has been enough demand for it, I don’t know why Sony isn’t releasing it.

Looks decent, I guess, but I think the plain white one is better.

But, the best color Sony ever used was the silver that early prototypes of the PS3 (with the boomerang controller) had, as well as some of the later slim PS2s. I’d love a solid silver PS4.

What is the Design done on the system? Is it Painted, Engraved or Just a Sticker?

I’m pretty surprised that instead of announcing a MGS5 PS4 bundle, they announce this?

Please Sony, if you want new PS4 owners, people like myself are waiting for the MGS5 PS4 bundle to come to America. There is alot of people who do not have a PS4 yet simply because they are waiting for MGS5, and for the MGS5 PS4 bundle. Please make the smart move and bring it over!

Never bought into the Destiny marketing hype or the shallow game itself (if i want to become a “Legend” i’ll do it on something more epic, packed with content like WARFRAME) but i’ll give credit when it’s due…That’s great looking console/package imho.

Give me the 20 yrs Anniversary edition and i’ll buy a third PS4.

Metal Gear Solid 5 Gun Metal Red Limited Edition for UK and Europe. I doubt US will get the MGS 5 Limited Edition ps4. UK and Europe is the biggest market,plus the currency is stronger. Makes sense to release it in a market that makes sony profit.

Words can’t explain how ****ed I am when I heard about this that the company is making another Limited Edition PS4 Destiny Bundle White with some really cool art work I feel as a loyal fan when I bought the first run of the Limited Edition PS4 Destiny Bundle I got royally screwed here cause all I got was a White PS4 without the art work how can you justify that by coming out with another one its like your saying **** everyone that bought the first run of the Limited Edition PS4 Destiny Bundle and this doesn’t set well with me at all.. all I’m saying is that I feel I got screwed not even a lick of art work to signify that I even got a Destiny PS4 every hard to convince people that I do until I show them the box that it came in this is why I am so royally ****ed off as a fan….

Yay, now there are two Destiny edition PS4s *rolls eyes*. I’m just glad I have the solid white one and not this fanboy version. It’s a great game, as far a arcades and PvP is concerned, but this game has less ‘character’ and depth than almost every game I played. Literally, the story sucks. The idea and background is neat, but it hardly even scratches the surface. It’s like I’m a soldier and even though I’m part of many missions, I have no idea what is going on. I guess that’s how they want to treat their Guardians, who are basically ‘special ops’ soldiers in this game.
It’s a good game, great pvp, but the story content is atrocious.

I’ll add my voice to the list: please bring over the MGSV special edition PS4 to the US! If Japan/Europe/Australia/New Zealand can all have it, then why not the United States as well?! This new Destiny PS4 special edition does look nice though.

This looks great, but I can’t really justify buying another PS4.

I’ve seen some pretty decent wrap around skins on Amazon, might invest in one of those to personalise my PS4 instead of dropping money for an entire console.

Sony, true fans have supported you over the years but now you are appeasing the 360 owners that play these types of games. You’re selling out and it’s disappointing. PS3 and PSP both had MGS bundles. MGS games sell most in the US and it makes no sense not to release it here. Please be the Sony that I knew and loved; this emphasis on COD and Destiny does not appeal to your true fans.

This is just gorgeous… Now to those who are angered by the fact that they bought the original white destiny pack. I have been in your situation a lot. But remember. There is a price you pay for having an item from day one. Just like the price of an item might decrease from the time you bought it on preorder. Its almost one year since that release. Of course a company will add designs to sell more of an item. Its just the design. Its beautiful. But so are the games and isn’t that what you should be paying for??
