Prepare yourselves for a free games lineup the likes of which you’ve (probably) never seen! We’ve got rocket-powered cars, stealthy goblins, science cats,and even a little dab of arthouse wonder for good measure. All free starting next week for PS Plus members.

This month’s lineup includes four games playable on PS4, starting with the multiplayer mayhem of Rocket League. Use insane stunts and teamwork to score points in this fast-paced arcade game that even features a wholesome little cameo from Sweet Tooth, our favorite demonic ice cream truck.

Also included is the fantasy stealth game Styx: Master of Shadows, and the head-scratching puzzles of Mousecraft. And if you’re still not satisfied, why not embark upon an adventure that spans nine lifetimes in the surreal story of Entwined?

Rounding out the lineup is Rain on PS3 and Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved on PS Vita. All these games will be free for PS Plus members starting on July 7th. If you want to see these games in motion, hit that play button below.

    I really am excited about this months line up!!!!! Everyone gives the PS+ games so much hate, but I always find at least one out of the bunch I thoroughly enjoy (Race the Sun is by far one of my all time favorites!!), and I was just about to buy Styx the other day… glad I waited!!

    Congratulations to PS4 owners, but I did NOT pay the subscription to receive only 1 Vita game a month. This is crap to anyone who doesn’t own a PS4.

    Some more “charming” indie games…. No you know what is charming? Mentally challenged people are charming, that fat girl with a crush on you is charming but these indies are crap. The only people excited for these on this thread must be on anti depressants, others realize we are getting served **** on a stick. At this rate it’s going to be a very long time before $50 a year is even remotely close to being worth it. Hate on my opinion if you must but you know deep down I’m right and so do I but your desire to feel you aren’t flushing money down that “charming” toilet keeps you on anti depressants.

    Ok not trying to be that guy but it’s ps+’s fifth anniversary and your not doing something huge I’ll admit I’ve only had my ps+ for 3 years but come on give all of us who have been supporting this program even when it wasn’t a nessecity to play online something bigger I love the indie games each month but honestly I’d like a triple a game at least once every other month and I know people will say you just got ground zeros but I happen to be one of the people who bought it when it was on sale right before it was announced to be free

      Exactly. 5th year anniversary and they offer us this garbage? I get it. Some of these games will be popular with those that enjoy indies. However, I would venture a guess that those people are in the vast minority. It’s even more annoying when you take a look and see what Japan is getting this month. I am glad I own both the PS3/4 and the XBox360/One otherwise it would be a total loss of a month. Gold is giving me AC:BF, PvZ, Gears of War 3…… PS Plus is giving me Monster Truck soccer and some other equally lousy titles… Yay!

    Rocket League?!?! AWESOME!!! I was planning on getting it day 1 but now it’s free :D
    Have you guys considered adding like a “donation” option on PSN, specially for indie games? I mean, there’s been a lot of games I’ve played for free thanks to PS+ and were so good that I kinda feel like giving something to the devs, like a tip, since I didn’t actually paid for the game… maybe like donating $1 – $5 bucks just as a “thank you”.

    You can tell these people know PS+ is **** when they have to bring up Xbox’s bad ass AAA game out of nowhere. I’m sure rocket league is bad ass, and I’m not an indie hater like most people, but if you think rocket league is better than AC4 then you’re delusional. Whether its old or whether you’ve played it is neither here nor there, because you people would be losing your minds if Knack or Killzone was announced and that game is just as old. I love Playstation, its where I do most of my gaming, just not some blind fanboy.

      @165 Summer always sucks what are you talking about their best stuff is always in september-november and jan-march april-august is typically pretty meh. You are seriously underestimating how awesome styx is though.

    Yes styx that game is on my to buy when I get a next gen system list (ie ps4/pc) so that one is something I really like. Rain, geometry wars and mouse craft look entertaining good for a day or two not something I would buy myself but overall I think this month is decent.

    I been wanting to check out Styx, Rain and Entwined for awhile and I already own Geo Wars 3 on PC but will happily play that on the go with my Vita. And I’ve heard nothing but good things about Rocket League.

    I’m typically okay with the lineups, even last month, when I had most everything except the PS4 games I can’t play, but this month feels underwhelming.

    Rocket League’s the followup to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars, a title I’ve yet to get into, but I’ve also not got in on this game’s beta or such…since I don’t have a PS4.

    Styx: Master of Shadows… I know nothing about. I think I’ve seen the name before, maybe on Steam? I guess I could check deets there, but again, no PS4 for here.

    Mousecraft I started up on Steam, but dunno how long I’d keep with it again.

    Entwined I got for, like, two bucks in a sale a month or two ago. So, pretty rapid double-dip on that front.

    Rain I am ashamed to’ve not played through yet (want my sister to join me with it), and it’s honestly the top one I’d be excited about for this lineup.

    Geometry Wars 3 etc. etc. I’ll try off the good press of its predecessors. I’ll prolly suck at it, but I expect to enjoy as far as I get.

    In thinking what genres I’d ask for, RPGs definitely, mostly for stories, which Rain would be, and Styx prolly provides on RPG front. I’d also maybe want racing, which Rocket League is, though I’m prolly still just Mario Kart 8 by default.

    I may be too harsh on this lineup, but I’m just not very excited.

    Why is it all indie games now?? Why? If I wanted to play indie games I would have bought an iPad! Damn! GWG over on XBOX has been much better as of late. Come on Sony get it together now!

    I think with the fact that Sony is winning the next generation’s war, Sony starts to forget the players and only see the profits: Vita doesn’t get new AAA games, PS+ with less good games and a PS4 still with a high price. They are not making a good movement against the competitors.

      I agree with you. Still waiting to buy my PS4, whenever they decide to drop the price like their competitors.
      In the meantime, just banking the “free” PS4 games from PS+. Nothing yet to convince me I need that shiny new console.
      And I’m talking as someone with a full time job and plenty of disposable income. Try harder Sony!

    Looking forward to Rain (it was on my wishlist) and maybe try Geometry Wars 3, but a pretty weak month overall.
    My PS+ expired in June, probably wait until the end of July to resub and grab these games. No rush with this lineup.

    people are pretending rocket league is bad because it’s indie, honestly it doesn’t feel like one and the beta was some of the most fun i had on ps4 to date.

    that alone makes PS+ worth it for not only this month, but the next 2-3 months as well. it’s MSRP is $20.

    styx master of shadows has good reviews though i’m not super in love with stealth genre, it looks fun and is a great addition to rocket league.

    idk anything about the other 2 indie games we get for ps4, but PS+ was already worth it. thank you pysonix for the game for PS+ members.

    naysayers and doubters, download rocket league and try it (especially with friends) it’s a blast. Drinking makes it better though.

    I know that my comment doesn´t wort a penny from you guys at Sony, but I have to say in my first time: it´s been bad after worst lining games for the PS + supporters, that not only bought a system that makes them pay to play online (when I had the PS3 and paid a cent to play online) and give them the worst Indie/childish games! I´m not like many others a supporter of PS+ but I have a annual pass, and since I bought it (only to play GTA5 online, that I played for free in PS3) the line up for the PS4 its just crap! I am a loyal sony PS fan, I have the PS since the PSOne, and never I considered XBox and Microsoft, but since I was “forced” to buy PS+ i never became so disappointed with Sony….because I was all this months trying to convince myself: ” Alright, you pay 50 euros (year) to play online (almost the same amount of the game that led me to subscribe PS+) but they will give some awesome games….thanks Sony! Worst money ever spend on you guys…when subscription ends bye bye PS+, GTA5 online alone it´s not wort my 50 euros a year to play online. Might as well sell the PS4 and go back to PS3…..however is considering buying PS4, think about this advice.

    please don’t tell me this is what we are getting this month. Just watched videos of all the games upcoming on PS+ and not happy at all miss the days on PS3 when we had games worth downloading and was worth waiting for whats going on xbox 360 is getting gears of war 3 and xbox one is getting black flag and PS+ is getting 6 games of crap even the psvita isn’t worth downloading. Why
    can’t we have worth while games that are worth waiting for come sony read what the people are really looking forward to and at least consider it.

    Rocket league looks cool, but why so many indies? It’s the 5th anniversary of psplus. This could have been really cool if you had an even balance of both indies and non-indies. The way it should be is 2 non-indies and 2 indies each month. I’m tired of all the indies and so are many others. There are many that enjoy them and that’s cool but there are just as many that have no interest in them.

    As a PS3/Vita owner I really hope this 4 ps4 games 1 Ps3/Vita games isnt becoming a trend. Dont screw over the ps3 users yet Sony. Vita users, we’re already used to being screwed over on that.

    I think we’ve finally reached the point where I’m disappointed in this service. I’ve been a plus member probably since Clements was on Beyond. It finally runs out next year and I don’t think I can justify keeping it going after that. It was amazing in its heyday.
