You’ve asked for it and we listened. Today we finally get to announce that Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception are being released for the PS4 in the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, available October 9, 2015!
Since the launch of the PS4, we’ve seen plenty of requests across our Twitter, Facebook, and message boards all over the internet to provide remastered releases for the first three games in the Uncharted series, which sold an amazing 21+ million copies and garnered an average 92 Metacritic rating. We couldn’t agree more. What better way to prepare for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End than to revisit – or play for the first time – the first three games that launched the fortune hunting icon that is Nathan Drake?
Early last month, Eric and I took a trip to Austin on the down low to visit the incredible team at Bluepoint Games to check out Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection in person and get ready for this announcement. What we’ve seen of the game so far looks fantastic!
The team at Bluepoint Games is incomparable regarding their portfolio of ports and remastered releases, and we’ve been working closely with them to bring over our engine to make Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection an exemplary game. That means not only delivering the single-player campaigns of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception in 1080p and 60fps with better lighting, textures, and models, but also adding a range of improvements and additions across all three games including Photo Mode and new trophies. We put together the list of these improvements and additions based on countless forum posts, messages, Tweets, and even through personal conversations we’ve had with a number of you over the years. More on these specifics in future updates.
By pre-ordering Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection today, you can receive the Nathan Drake Pack which includes single player skins of iconic Drake outfits as well as everyone’s favorite weapons: the Golden AK-47 and Golden 92FS guns. If you pre-order the digital download via the PlayStation Store, you will also get an Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection PS4 dynamic theme as an immediate download.

149: A separate co-op campaign(s) would be very welcome to the collection since it has no multiplayer plans at the moment and would add extra replay value to the game. And yes… I cannot wait for Uncharted 4 to finally release :D
I would buy this but there’s no MP.
I was prepared to buy this until I realized the online multiplayer isn’t included. The MP was my favorite part of Uncharted 2 and 3, and without it the games just don’t have much longevity. Don’t really understand why you’d release incomplete Uncharted ports when The Last of Us was brought to PS4 with its multiplayer intact, but I guess I’ll just be sticking with the PS3 versions.
I agree with Avalanche MP would be the only reason for me to buy it unless the the beta isn’t some sort of gimmick and lasts to uncharted 4 comes out. then I”m in.

So disappointing. Do you even know the reason why i still play UC3 and sometimes UC2 nowadays? I’ve pretty much gotten 1000 hours of UC3MP Alone as well as having 92k kills plus and 5k/2k win/lose ratio.
Don’t be stupid Naughty Dog. Bring back the MP. Reason i want MP is because it’ll revive the community once more with new and old players starting from scratch. Also hope you would fix the theater mode and played hours since it’s STILL broken and not showing the actual hours since it launched.
Also no Golden Abyss? Come on stop being lazy and actual put some effort in a collection. I don’t know why a lot of developers always leave out the side games when collection has always been more than just 3 games.
Better put back the MP and all the DLCs in a future patch.
I feel it’s too much for the collection without the mp. I really dreamed of this colelction so I could play Uncharted 2 mp again. Without it, I will not get this.

So no multiplayer anymore, and no additional work done on Uncharted 1? I could have been strongly tempted if AT LEAST the first episode had been rebuilt with the gameplay engine of U2/U3. But no, Sony nor Naughty Dog can’t be bothered to spend a dime on a real, proper remaster. Mind you, it’s not Bluepoint’s fault.
I’ll keep playing on the definitive PS3 versions, thank you very much.

Especially not for paying for access to a MP mode I care nothing about and was only included in UC 2 and 3 to gouge customers with DLC.

I’m actually kinda glad to not see multiplayer in this collection. It would break up the community of PS3 multiplayer, and Uncharted 4’s multiplayer will probably be the go-to Uncharted multiplayer experience on the PS4. I’m really excited. Although, $60 for the three Uncharted singleplayer games (especially after already playing through them) is a little overpriced imo… we’ll have to see.
Definitely getting this, but I wish there was some way to get the theme with the physical version. Digital would be awesome, but I like my physical copies. Hell, I still buy DVDs instead of use Netflix.
GREAT news! Please don’t exclude the 3D mode for U3 – it was stunning. I know 3D has fizzed out, but the implementation in U3 is still an incredible example of how to do it right. God.. the plane crash, desert, canyon chase – I can’t tell you how many times I replayed those chapters in 3D.
I would really love to hear the Uncharted 3 still has 3D support still, if it doesn’t then shoot.
This is exactly what I was hoping for. Been wanting to replay these games with my SO for the story before UC4 came out, but I’ve been holding out waiting for a PS4 collection announcement before diving back into my PS3 copies. So glad this is real. Looking forward to October. And no MP is a good choice. It would have been bad to include both, as it would split the community, and if you only included the MP from 2 OR 3, then you would have upset people who enjoyed the other one more. Also, we won’t have to worry about people not jumping into UC4’s MP when it releases next year. Honestly, just a sound decision.

I wish the multiplayer was in it, it’s probably my favorite multiplayer on ps3. i would’ve really liked to play it again with a popular community.
People here are probably going to hate me after saying this but I thought the UC3 multiplayer was craps compared to UC2 and it makes me gald it’s not in this collection.
Uncharted 2 had one of the best multiplayer experiences I’ve ever played, so I’m disappointed that it’s not coming along as say what Microsoft did with the Master Chief collection. Regardless, a great way to promote Uncharted 4 And allow newcomers to experience the hype. Dunno about day 1 but definitely later.

I know online MP is gone, but what about the offline co-op in Uncharted 3, is that still there?
I got a fever and the only cure is going to be a marathon of re-mastered ports of the original console trilogy of Uncharted games. To play Uncharted again will be great, but to do so on PS4 with the DS4 will be sweet sweet bliss.

95% chance that i’ll pick this collection day one. For the love of everything sacred sony… Have Bluepoint remaster a SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals collection! Compatible with the PS4’s camera for voice commands ect, ect. Don’t you want my money? :)

If only this were $40. But $60 & no MP = a no buy, from me. I’m sure plenty of people will get it just for the U4 MP demo. Call it a beta all you want, but the only feedback they want is our $$$. If they really want to test it, they’d send invites to Ps Plus subscribers, not charge $$$. /Rant

Okay, so I pre ordered Uncharted 4 before this came out. Will I still be able to get in the beta for pre ordering? or do I have to pre order this to get in.
Don’t remove 3D support from U3. It’s dumb to remaster something and make it worse.
No multiplayer means no reason to buy it for me, If I wanted to play the SP I would just pop them into my ps3, it would have been cool to get the MP base up again by having it on ps4.
They removed multi-player from Uncharted 2 and 3 AND are too lazy to port the Vita version. Tisk, Tisk, Tisk… Guess I’ll stick to Uncharted 2 and 3 on PS3.
Hey can a audio profile be added to the golds, and the elites for the Uncharted trilogy and 4? Also add it for the ps3 as well.
I’m gonna pass on this insane $74.99 Canadian price tag. How American game prices are completely immune to currency fluctuation, where the rest of the world gets their rates jacked the instant exchange rates move an inch is completely ridiculous.
Canadians won’t pay $74.99+Tax. Period.
It says $59.99. This is a big mistake. On the Playstation Store, the first two Uncharted games are $29.99 as a bundle, and the third game’s Game of the Year Edition is $29.99. So for $59.98, or one cent less than this collection, I could buy all three games on PS3. It is a much better buy when you take into account that this collection doesn’t have the multiplayer. I will probably buy the Uncharted games this summer, but I’m getting the PS3 versions because for a cent less, I’ll get multiplayer and whatever else comes in the UC3 GOTY edition. Why should I buy this collection on my PS4 instead? Is there any reason other than the improved visuals and beta access? By the way, exclusive access to the Uncharted 4 beta is not a good idea. This is slightly alienating to PS Plus members who were promised “early and exclusive access” to betas.
Oh, I almost forgot. Uncharted 3 won’t have 3D in this collection, but it does on PS3.

Okay… this comes from a DAY ONE PURCHASER of EACH OF THESE GAMES…
I WILL NOT be supporting this cash cow of a remaster! Not even the Uncharted 4 beta access can allure me. I’d love to test and give feedback of that, but if that’s the only way to get into the beta (unlike the U2/3 betas,) then I can wait for next year for what ND is currently working on.
Can people complain any more. It is awesome to see the trilogy come to PS4. This is my favorite series and I will replay again. Thank you so much, more Remasters please. Maybe Beyond Two Souls is next?

Eric I think you are missing the point of why we wanted the multiplayer in this. It would not split up the community because we know for a fine fact that the multiplayer in Uncharted 4 is going to continue with the horrible, gimmick filled multiplayer you guys added in Uncharted 3…you know when you ruined what you had created in Uncharted 2, a simple but fun skilled multiplayer which set it’s self apart from every other online game out their like COD or Battlefield. You added Kickbacks, Upgradable boosters, weapon mods, bloody loadouts, paid boosters etc.
Least if you added the Uncharted 2 multiplayer in this old school fans who liked the multiplayer for what it was could have found refuge in this game.
So now we are gonna have to pray that the Uncharted 4 multiplayer is almost like Uncharted 2 and all those gimmicks are completely gone. Nobody wants Loadouts, you can just randomly generate weapons on maps, nobody wants weapon mods, we like skill and nobody asked for the other things.
Come on guys, you missed a great opportunity to please both crowds.
Normally I hate seeing re-releases, but I personally have a friend who crossed over to PS4 from Xbox 360, so this will be excellent for people like him who missed out. However, ND, you are lazy and cheap as hell to omit online multiplayer. Seriously disgraceful. Fortunately, the only thing that is as disgraceful as this move is the Uncharted 3 multiplayer. UC2’s MP was one of the best ever, though.
But whatever. ND is just a machine now. You’ve let your success turn you into another EA/Activision/Ubisoft.
