Another collection of excellent games joins PlayStation Plus this month, and you’ve come to the right place for details!
Starting things off on PS4 is Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee — New ‘n’ Tasty! This side-scrolling adventure reboots the PlayStation classic with new visuals, new sound, enhanced controls, and even more dark humor than before. Also coming to the PS4 lineup is Valiant Hearts: The Great War. This colorful puzzle game carries with it a heavy subject matter, as it follows four intersecting lives (and a loyal canine companion) during the first World War.
On PS3, gamers with PS Plus can download the critically-acclaimed Papo & Yo, alongside the wit-inducing Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments. And on PS Vita, watch out for OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood and CounterSpy.
These games will be available for Plus members when PlayStation Store updates later today.

You’ve done it again! After a late release, you guys have the courage to, AGAIN, put a game that is available on both PS3 and PS4, but just give a free download on PS3. I mean, c’mon. I BOUGHT THE FREAKING PS4 BECAUSE MY PS3 DIED OF YLOD!!! And now I’m getting screwed twice? It should be the other way around! The PS4 version should be a freebie, shouldn’t it?
Please, if you have an explanation for that, now would be the time.
The biggest mistake made in PS4 was to vinculate Plus to online gaming. An optional VIP service became a necessity, dropping the quality of Plus.
Would be nice to see some more retail-release games for the PS4 available for PS+ members. Stuff like Knack, Killzone, etc.
Great games but there is one missing in the store.
Papo & yo for ps3 is not in the psplus selection on the store, i cant select it for free and it does not appear under the ps plus games.
Keybloker: if its what i think the reasoon why sherlcok and thief are only ps3 sony won’t say anything so as to not anger thier 3rd party partners.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the publishers of those games would not allow Son to put both the PS3 and PS4 versions on the IGC
Cool. I’ve been wanting to try Papo & Yo, so looking forward to that, and Valiant Hearts sounds interesting. Beyond that, hey, more games to check out. As long as I’ve got at least one a month I’m actively interested in then I’m pretty happy to just poke and some games I don’t really know about. Also, since I didn’t post, last month was AMAZING! My friend tells me she’s been abusing my PS4 (I’m studying abroad so loaning it) and I’m loving Rogue Legacy, a game I would never have even looked at without PS+.
Sony i mean
Well olli2 is nice i think…
But seriously next time ia little feedback pike “sorry ps+ info gonna be late” would be nice…
Not a bad list. All games I don’t own, and haven’t played. So they will make a good collection for my trophies. Only concern is “Papo & Yo”. It’s listed here as being a free game for PS+, but not listed as free to download. Any information on this from anyone?
A lot of negative feedback here, did you guys not see that Oddworld is on that list. That game is amazing and you people saying the rival is offering Aaa games then switc. Sony need to add more old games to the ps4 store though, like soul reader, crash bandicoot etc, I have them on ps3 but I need them on ps4 plus more classic games
More side scrollers…. Geez how about good games for once?
Stupid auto-correct
snarls200,
If cross-buy is available, it always applies. It’s just because these games aren’t cross buy.
Ugh….the only game I don’t already have is olliolli2. Exciting for anyone that doesn’t…but man that’s disappointing.
:/ PS PLUS is never going to get any better then this folks I lost my hope in it a long time ago.
Another joke of a month.. About the equivalent of free game boy games.
guitarpete987: while generally true dragons crown is not cross buy but us on plus got that a while back for both ps3/vita so it can be done but sony has to make a deal with the publisher
For those that want to get Papo & Yo, try to search them in the store. I had to do that and I found the game labeled as free.
So you mean to tell me xbox one owners are getting stuff like Tomb Raider, and we are still getting rinky dink games like this? COME ON Sony! Between your inability to keep the PSN servers up and lack of PS + games, I’m extremely tempted to sell my PlayStation 4 and get an Xbox One, which is hard for me to even accept considering I’ve owned nothing but Playstation consoles since the PS1. Don’t make me do this Sony.
I don’t have that PS Plus logo on my avatar. For good reason.
I think Sony should rename this service as Indies Plus…. I’m done with this thing…
@NinjaPigs – Thanks for that info. Searched and found it listed as free.
see you all next month
Anyone not happy with their service, time to unsubscribe! Not going to recommend other services, but might as well drop the Plus if you are unhappy with it.
Xbox one are getting Rayman Legends, 360 is getting Tomb Raider so shut up and learn how to read.
no complaints btw
Really can’t complain about this week. All great looking games that I never would have paid for outright, and now I get to play ’em all. Technically my PS Plus sub IS paying for them, but you get the idea. Keep up the great selection, guys.
These aren’t risky dink games.
Its months like this that make me question if PS+ is really worth it. I would happily pay 15$ a year just to access online/multiplayer content and nothing else, but for multiplayer year round you guys only offer the 50$ a year full package or nothing. If this is the only option I’m going to expect more than platformers for the only games being offered. I am tired of getting these same types of games every month, especially since I only have a PS4. If things keep on going down this path with only giving a true AAA game every 6 months(like INJUSTICE, First Light was decent but it was a DLC not a full game) I will not be resubscribing to PS+.
*rinky dink (darn autocorrect!)
Disappointing regret getting the ps4 so early should have kept my ps3, these games are for 9 years old and under. Only good games so far on ps for ps4 were infamous first light and injustice gods among us.
I’m tired of the garbage I’d rather get one good AAA or possibly Indie game every month then two bad games that are usually Indies.
HORRIBLE….
no surprise, my son got tomb raider and bioshock infinite on gwg and laughs at the fact that vita’s anniversary got olliolli 2 and counterspy….
I don’t even look forward to the free games anymore, 9 out of 10 they suck.
I only have a vita and mainly keep it for the cloud save, and its the only way to separate your save from a downloaded game.
the free games are a joke, and another player was correct, they are not free you only rent them, no plus…no working games.
no wonder they were embarrassed to announce this crap next to microsofts.
CounterSpy is such a great game that I can’t wait for more people to play it.
AND THEY NEVER SEEM TO GIVE ANY PS1 OR PSP GAMES.
Why does Papo & Yo not show up in my free games?
If this is the type of games we are going to get on PS+ I might as well have gotten an Xbox One
Rubbish month yet again. Sid you need to do your communication job better feeding the views back and informing your paying customers of what is going on.
Not sure what happened with all the mistery around the lineup announcement this month. But I got to say: It was worth it. Amazing addition to IGC.
I think Papo and Yo isn’t showing up free cause of the last minute problem was that PS3 was going to get Dishonored and it got canceled or something, so Sony had to find something else to give PS3. Just my thought on the matter, I could be wrong.
Another great month, thank you Sony!!
Looking most forward to Valiant Hearts and Sherlock Holmes.
But on a completely different topic, I’m glad and loving the line-up. I’ll be getting 5 of the 6 for sure. People complaining are those people that are impossible to please.. The only negative thought was I actually thought Drive Club was a thought and that was with the delay. Great list regardless, Thanks.
Such a disappointing lineup. It feels like Sony just picked random titles out of a hat. I love Sony I really do, Which is why I have every system from the PS1 – PS4, PSP, and PS Vita, but THIS lineup is just disappointing at best. All I can say is thank you Sony, but No Thanks! Looks like I’ll be playing on my brother’s XBOX One this month.
P.S. In all honesty, the March lineup for Japan is pretty damn good and it makes me jealous. Toukiden would have been #1 on my download list. Sharing is caring, US and EU don’t HAVE to be different all the time.
Papo & Yo shows up as “Free” if you search for it on the Store. Not sure why it does not come up under PS Plus.
@368 – You can log in to PSN online and buy the games that way, for all of the consoles, even ones you don’t own yet. You can still buy the free games from February, until they update the store with the new March games.
By the way, you don’t even have PS+ from looking at your icon, so why are you asking?
@jaymzevanz – PS+ already gave away Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite in the last year or two, along with Rayman Origins. Doesn’t it seem like Microsoft is playing catch up now?
Finally the announcement for February instant game collection. I am being sarcastic, but I got to admit that it is a great selection. For April, you should announce a week in advance.
more indie games woooo. whoever picks the games each month should be fired for month after month of incompetence. gee i wonder why you guys announced this so late this month.
indiestation 4, where the games are longer than our aaa exclusives.
Looking forward to Valiant Hearts and CounterSpy, that makes the month for me.
Already have Papo & Yo on PC, fantastic game. To anyone who hasn’t played it yet, it’s worth the 3-5 hours of playtime. Interesting puzzles and storyline about a kid dealing with his alcoholic father. More people need to support these types of unique games.
So sick of all the whiners on this blog, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. But most of them just seem entitled.
Not a bad line up I gotta say. But at first glance I did sigh…Don’t get me wrong! I’m not gonna *****, I actually wanted to tryout Sherlock Holmes and Valiant Hearts for awhile now but that whole delay thing kinda pushed expectations up a bit is all I’m saying. I’m happy for what I’m getting but I did expect a bit more.
To anyone praising Xbox Live for offering Tomb Raider and Rayman…..those games were already on the PSPlus IGC (along with numerous dirt cheap PSplus sales) over a year ago. Been there, done that. So grow up and stop complaining over nothing.
As more and more people get a PS4 and must pay to pay online, Sony’s rakes in higher profits. Yet the PS+ games get worse and the network does not get upgraded or new features do not get added. The competition lowers it’s subscription cost and gets better games in the mean time. HUGE FAIL!
