  • these games are pretty meh… has been for months now, especially for vita users

  • I am really disappointed in PS Plus these past few months. I bought my PS4 for its power and for great games. Not this indie crap with SNES graphics. I doubt I’ll be renewing if these lame offerings continue.

  • @zichiro – I dont post here with my main account where I am a plus subscriber. Genius. LOL

I’ll bet anything that all these whiners are virgins.

You kids should really get out more and play in the sun and meet some girls. LOL losers

  • Playstation Plus is quickly becoming a ripoff and a joke.

  • PS: The only things lacking for me:
    1. Folders on the main menu. On the PS3, I was using the albums to set a PS3 folder, a PSN folder, a PS1 folder, a Demo folder…
    2. A Plex native app.
    3. DLNA for Video playback.
    4. Music playback on the system.
    5. PS1 classics working on PS4.
    6. PS2 classics working on PS4.

PPS: The 4 and 5 would get you more money from us gamers, I don’t see why it’s not already there. Emulators are easy to do, frankly, really easy to do. On the worst case scenario, just put “beta” on it, but I need it. I need to play some great classics like Crash Team Racing (I’m still playing it once a month and need to plug my PS3 again each time).

  • I just spent 2 hours each on games which I was just going to look at for an hour. The games are addictingly fun.

  • That’s a lot of vita love! Playing Isaac everywhere on my Vita sounds great!

Now, some AAA titles for PS3 IGC? I miss them :(

  • Oh my….what a great lineup we got this month….well I know that 3 games there are great…but I don’t have a single one so its a complete win. Will finally get to play Escape Plan…shame on me,a real shame…Escape Plan was one of the games that made me excited about Vita and since I bought my Vita I never bought Escape Plan and now I will get it for free…weird but I feel bad somehow.

    Thanks Sony.

  • I am normally pretty content with the free games each month….but this has got to be the worst month in years. Steam World is fun enough, but the rest…
And I was expecting Binding of Isaac to be some sort of awesome game after all the raving reviews and controversy…but sadly this game only gets by on controversy…one of the worst games I’ve played in ages, (up there with Two Worlds). It is seriously just a flash game for the PS4.

I know a lot of people complained about last month, but I loved Dust and though I already had them, I think Arkham and Rainbow Moon were great additions to Plus.
I already have Injustice (December’s big game) but I am looking forward to First Light!

  • These games sounded like awesome games because of Kristine Steimer lol I don’t like this line up but I like you Kristine Steimer haha

  • I have to take it all back. Previous months when I said you gave us garbage and it was the most horrible release ever on Plus. Those horrible months are nothing compared to what ever this is suppose to be. This is the absolutely definition of ripping off your subscribers. Complete garbage. When you have PS Vita games as the majority release….you have not done your job. How do we get you all fired and let someone do the job your pretending to do? I’m serious, who do I write to get you fired?

  • WTF!! I’m the only who think they offer us only bull**** games????

  • If this guys continuing to offer us this games they will lose clents. They forget that xbox one is a rivel and they have a that awsome kinect????

  • Please don’t give us so many indie games :( We want games from the PS3 collection every month.

  • Why EU PSN has not been updated yet?!

  • When will the free game be made available? as it said they were going to be available on the 4th but still not able to get them yet

  • Welp, funny how you only care about US and not the rest of the world. US store has been updates but still, nothing on EU store. Everything about the PSN + release was weird this month.

  • @366 “Everything about the PSN + release was weird this month.”

Completely agree. You’d think they would be redoubling efforts on communication since the weird way Sony and Evolution handled the Driveclub launch last month.

  • Steam World Dig (for me) is hands down one of the best games of the year. I played it on my 3DS and Wii U. If you own a PS 4 or Vita this is a must have. And its FREE? Thats just a win win.

  • I just spent over an hour on Luftrausers and can’t wait to put in more time. It suprised the hell out of me, and it’s something I probably wouldn’t have bought – I already passed on it as part of a humble bundle and I’ve mostly moved on from gaming on my PS3, so I’ve had enough chances to pay if I wanted to. Now, I know what I’ve missed and can look forward to more games by the same developer. If Steamworld dig and Binding of Isaac are as good, this will be one of the best months ever.

People that dismiss something as “Indie Crap” without trying it should have their gamer license revoked. Velocity 2x, Luftrausers and Pix the Cat are some of the most fun I’ve had this year.

Anyways, now that retail games are starting to show up in the next few months on PS4, hopefully all the “I’m going to cancel my subscription” posts will finally stop.

  • When does this games come out ( at which clock) ?

  • Can’t open store on my PS3.. WTH is going on Sonyyyyyyy???

  • Why don´t you answer the comments of users who complains abaout the lame lame lame games in this month and the previous month + Kristine Steimer Why??? + Kristine Steimer Why??? + Kristine Steimer Why????

Since I renew mi suscription in September keep dissapointing me

I you still owe me PES 14 that you change in the latam area outrageous outrageous outrageous.

  • Lol the comment sections is priceless

  • This is the worst month, for me who only have ps3 this is a joke… Only two bored indies?! No more sony! I’m not gonna pay for this bad service.
    NO MORE INDIES!

  • Is anyone else having trouble finding Isaac on the PS Store? I’m searching for it and I just can’t seem to find it. Is it like US only or something?

  • Goodness why do people cry so much on here? Sony is offering an absolutely unheard of value in PS+ but people rage and cry because the post was a week late? WHO CARES. Sony, you keep doing you. These people crying about it all being indies clearly don’t understand how business works. I have gotten more enjoyment out of the free indie offerings on ps4 then I ever did with the AAA freebies on the ps3. Keep up the good work.

  • @240 – LOL, you are right, my wish list has mostly AAA games, that’s why it’s my WISH LIST.
In the many months since I started posting my list, we’ve received several games that I was asking for, including – Dokuro, Puppeteer, Dragon’s Crown, and now Escape Plan.
Between PS+, Steam and Humble Bundles I have more indie games than I can ever play, so why ask for more?
I’ve noticed 2 problems on this blog:
    1. – There’s a lot of people whining and complaining about the free games AFTER THE FACT. Why don’t you all post what games you would like, as I do? You’re wasting your time griping if you’re not saying what it is you ACTUALLY want.
    2. – There’s not many people posting lists of games or features they want added in the future. To those that are, Congratulations! and thanks for helping the cause. The rest of you, don’t insult us for asking for what we’d like.
Anyways, since we’ve been given several games that I asked for in the past, it leads me to think that maybe, JUST MAYBE, somebody at Sony is actually reading these comments and taking notes.
If that’s the case, then THANK YOU and keep up the good work! It’s much appreciated (by some of us).
Just my 2 cents, please don’t hate. ;)

  • for some reason i cant find The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth in the playstation store member area

  • I can see it but for some reason it´s not free at all for Plus members.

  • the worst month ever.

  • Any idea when the PlayStation Plus version of Drive Club will be available?

  • Woeful line-up this month. Myself like many others can understand the lack of big name games for the PS4 but to ignore the PS3 as well this month with no name games is taking the Michel IMO. Xbox Live is now better FFS. Sony need to get to grips with this nonsense as I for one am beginning to question renewing my PS Plus when it runs out. Joined in Jan this year and each month it has gone downhill ever since. At least sort the Vita and PS3 games out Sony and stop beginning so cheap. I’m paying for this service. It really isn’t free ya know.

All in all. Not good enough for an unhappy long-time PS3 owner and also a PS4 and Vita owner. Haven’t looked at the rest of the comments but I’d be genuinely surprised if they don’t mirror my comments more or less. Sot it out Sony. No more excuses.

  • Have to say all year the subscribed games (there not free, we pay a subscription for them) for the ps4 have been a huge let down, even though i have both injustice and infamous it is very good to see us starting to get our moneys worth (refering to december and january ofcourse, this months is yet another let down though, no offense to the devs involved)

  • Wow, it just keeps going downhill. I became a plus member almost two years ago, before the requirement for online play for the PS4 was even announced. I joined for the games. Even now, I’m not much of an online player, so I don’t have it to go online with my PS4 either. I still only keep the account for the games. The first year I joined, we got AAA titles on a monthly basis. It was always exciting to see what the next month was going to bring. Then, the extra games started declining, but you could at least count on the fact that the “big game for the month” was at least going to be a decent one. For the past six months, though, this hasn’t been the case, and I keep holding out, waiting to see if it’s going to get better, and it doesn’t. I just gets worse.

  • This month’s games don’t include even one game that most people have even heard of. And the flagship game of the month is some indie developed turn-based RTS from 2011. It’s no wonder that Sony announced some games early for December and January: they wanted to soften the blow of this month’s lousy lineup. And the early announced games don’t really draw any excitement from me neither. I’m not sure what happened in the decision making process as to what games are given out each month, but it’s been a turn for the worse. My subscription runs out next November, and as long as this trend keeps up, I don’t really feel the need to extend it anymore. I bought three years worth of plus membership in advance because of how good the deal was (back when truly good games were being offered), but I’ve been regretting that hasty decision for some time now, and this month just makes me do so even more.

  • Just because Sony is ruling this generation is no reason to start pulling back on what drew people into the scheme in the first place. If you don’t give people a reason to stay, they won’t. Learn a lesson from the early PS3 days when Sony thought they were untouchable, and found out really fast that they can lose their place. Just because you’re on top today doesn’t mean you don’t need to stop trying and keep feeding us tripe.

  • It’s becoming quite useless to be a PSN Plus Subscriber. $50 for a full year just to get PS Vita Indie crapware instead of true games is starting to annoy me…

  • Oh god…more junk…

  • this is even crappier than expected.

  • I don’t understand all the hate. Things sometimes break. They’re still dropping plenty of titles every month, for multiple systems. People, just calm down.

  • why don’t they start releasing great ps2 games for playstation plus i really don’t like the wasted potential and im tired of indie games. i can buy digital versions of previous gen games from rival corporations for my current gen system. games like the .hack series, spyro, crash, drakengard or bujingai the forbidden city just release more quality games, not nock offs with different sprites, gimmics and graphics

  • Just to let everyone no,FINALLY theres 2 free themes in playstation store to change your background, goto settings, theme,

  • Eh. This month is really disappointing. Binding of Isaac is great…but I only have a PS3 (due to finances…not because I don’t want a Vita or PS4) and so the only games I can get are a Vita Cross Buy and what amounts to an arcade game (one that doesn’t currently work…by the way). I was really hoping for something good to come along…since the last few months have been pretty bland for me. My renewal date is coming up soon…and I just really don’t know if I want to spend the money right now. There’s really no point for me to do so. The online service is pretty bad (especially if you’re coming from the 360’s fantastic online) and so the only point in me paying for PS+ is for the IGC…which hasn’t been very good as of late. I don’t know…I don’t like feeling conflicted lol

  • I know it must already be a pain to get the legal details ironed out for the PS+ offerings each month. What if the PS+ offerings did something that involved a little choice for the subscribers?

    – Have choice of A or B. (A) Two smaller, less expensive titles (which have been the standard lately) or (B) One larger, higher-profile maybe AAA / retail game.

    – Have choice of A or B. (A) The two pre-selected games or (B) $5-10 off a game in the store. This would be better for those more invested in the PSN already, those who own a lot of games.

Might be more difficult to implement but what a positive experience that could be. Power to the players via choice.

  • The question still stands: Why the hell would you dish out Frozen Synapse Prime as game of the month and NOT put the PS Vita version out as well…. I really liked this month’s lineup (except for the lack of Triple-A titles), but I was looking forward to playing Frozen Synapse on my Vita, and 20 bucks is a lot for a game that I’ve got free on my PS3….

P.S. Any chance Persona 4 Golden coming out on PS Plus lineup for Vita?

  • Frozen Synapse Prime does not work. I’ve downloaded and re-installed 3 times now, and it just freezes on the ‘re-sizing’ screen. I’ve tried re-sizing, and not re-sizing and I get the same result. On top of that, Luftraisers is garbage, and Vita games are garbage. I definitely WILL NOT be renewing my PS+ membership this January. Since the PS4 was released, it seems that Sony has given PS3 owners the shaft. I think I’ll be migrating to Microsoft on my next upgrade. Peace out Sony, it was a (somewhat) good relationship while it lasted.

  • Wow. As a PS3 owner, I had wondered if I was going to renew my plus sub. I wonder no more. No freakin’ way. I’d say the well of PS3 games has officially run dry.

  • @369 + Bobby_Comics

No, Bobby…it’s not free…..just like EVERY game in the IGC, it is nothing more than an extended rental.

as soon as your PS+ subscription ends, NONE of your IGC content will work anymore….the IGC is part of what you’re paying for with your subscription. this is why it annoys so many people that the IGC offerings are constantly indie titles, and crappy games.

  • @370 + Treefingers1

    I haven’t tried them….i’m not going to either…..

the gameplay doesn’t look interesting, the genres are not ones i’m interested in, and in the case of Luftrausers, it looks like something i would have gotten on my first gen gameboy from 1989…..gameplay is extremely important, but the way a game looks, sounds, and feels is also important.

the problem with indie games nowadays is that there’s just too many of them, and not enough of them are good….
