  • Sony, you seriously need to step up your game. I miss the days of Jack Tretton, he always knew what he was doing, he helped turn PS around despite the rocky PS3 launch. Kaz is busy with Sony as a whole. Shawn Laden, I don’t trust him, bad first impression from.

  • You need to fix the Youtube App and the yellow blinking light. Youtube App sign in can be fixed by first removing PSN off your Youtube account. The yellow blinking light can be avoided by either accessing once the PS Store or just remove the automatic update and putting USB charge to Always.

    You need to:
-Release Driveclub free PS+ edition, even if it’s just te single player
-Fix update 2.0 Youtube App and rest mode
-Add Avatar download to PS Vita and PS4 systems.
-Add the ability to use music, pictures, gifs, video from a USB and use them in Share Factory.
-Have new games for PS Vita, and PS4. Mainly the Vita.
-Fix the PSN network as a whole. Add more servers for future games.
-For All Future games like Driveclub, always release a beta (maybe an Alpha too) I would have preferred a beta than a free PS+ version. Because if there is anything wrong with the servers, then it’s ok, it’s a beta, that’s what it’s there for, to test the servers before official game release.
    -Add Blue-Tooth Headset support.
-Add DNLA, I am just sick of reading people complaining about it

  • Yeah…still no info on the PS Plus Games. :(

  • @Broman_YZ, Just trying to offer some friendly advice as someone who’s been there. You clearlry do care and everyone can see it, so you should can the “too cool for school” facade and work on a darn good apology, because you’re ‘about to be gone and it’s the community and blog team who won’t care. If you didn’t care, you wouldn’t be here in the first place. Foolish pride is foolish.

  • You idiots who rate the drop low have no idea that Sony has no control over what games come out for the week? Why keep trolling for attention?

@StingrayX I hope it stays that way. Less the trolling, the better.

  • For anybody wondering about the PS3 + PS4 crossbuy of Call Of Duty, you can download the second version now. What you’ll have to do is go to the web store and add the version you bought to your cart. It’ll be free. Once you check out you’ll get the other version automatically.

Example – I bought the PS3 Digital Pro Edition. I went back to the web store today and added that very same version to my cart and checked out. The PS4 version Digital Pro Edition now shows as purchased. Go to your PS4 and download

Also don’t forget to get your free Destiny DLC that’s only available with the preorder

  • Tons of stuff for the Vita this week! Great to see it getting all of these titles. I just wish there was going to be be more demos, though.

  • are we really hearing “details coming soon, stay tuned in” the day before the ps+ update is supposed to be out? isnt that the EXACT OPPOSITE of keeping the people who look into this kind of information, especially the ones paying for the service, in the loop of things going on with sony? and i refuse to believe that these are “last minute delays” theres so much work that has to go into getting these kinds of things done and most of this is taken care of months, if not more ahead of time. if they dont inform you, thats fine, just say so, as well as the understanding that they wont inform you, just for the sake of raging consumers, just dont B.S. us in an attempt to buffer the imminent result of the latter incompetence. its rather insulting and quite annoying to those of us who arent as naive in the audience

  • I pre-ordered Advanced Warfare on my PS3 console, but when I go onto my PS4 account it tells me I have to buy it.

    Should I be worried?

Do I have to wait for the real release on the 4th?

I mean I pre-ordered day zero, should it not show up same day?

  • I’m gonna have to check out Disney Infinity 2.0 Digital Edition. I’ve no interest in expensive starter sets or physical toys, but I AM a fan of fully 3D platforming, gorgeous cartoon-style visuals, and tons of User-Generated Content – I was hoping Disney or Activision would’ve brought their games to digital earlier, and just offer up new characters as DLC’s.

  • @VinsanityV21 – you still need the toys and the base. This game is being put up for the people that have the old 1.0 Infinity base and toys. That stuff is compatible with the 2.0 Toybox Mode

If you don’t own a base and some toys you’ll be wasting your money

  • Cross Buy is unstable. I bought digital pro version at PS3 store. But still I can’t get the PS4 version .

This must be error so. would you please check my account’s malfunction and add the PS4 version of COD AW to my download list

    ASAP?

  • @nod82456 – go to the web store and locate the PS3 version that you bought. It should have an ‘add to cart’. Don’t worry, it should show as free in your cart. After you check out again with the free version of what you already bought, then the PS4 version will automatically be added to your account

    Good luck man

  • NEED HELP. I bought the PS4 Digital download version and have it already downloaded it. I am trying to find out how to get the PS3 version download to my PS3 but I have been trying a few times since midnight came and had no luck. If anyone knows please let me know asap…Thank you.

  • Head into the ps3 store, eventho you downloaded the game, press download again but cancel that second download as soon as did that I headed into the ps4 store it showed the game downloaded and I was able to download the ps4 version

  • The download comes up two separate downloads “single player” and “multi player” either download you choose the rest will download

  • I’ve heard good things about Binding of Isaac, thanks team.

  • Pre-ordered and downloaded CoD Advanced Warfare (PS4). When will the cross-buy function be available? Would like to download CoD to my PS3 as well. Is there also a cross-save function build in?

  • I saw or read on other websites looks like we get more crappy side scrolling NES looking indies… Like when can we get our money’s worth. I mean Driveclub was supposed to be included… 1 month later… still no drive club. Only good Playstation plus games were Resogun and outlast. I mean how about Assassian’s creed, Metal Gear Solid, Tomb Raider, Need for Speed. I mean give us REAL GAMES… not these half made indies no one wants or heard of. I don’t mind Indies but I mean how MANY SIDE SCROLLING NES GRAPHICS GAMES DO WE PS4 Owners need?

  • Holy cow! I just came by to say it looks like a good drop and although I would love to see Wolf on my PS4 and/or Vita, I just can’t justify buying it again. I’ll look for a sale. but upon seeing what the comment section turned into.. wow. Feels like I am right back at IGN.

    Beyond!

  • the November PS+ games aren’t….

    PS4: The Binding of Isaac
    SteamWorld Dig

    PS3: Frozen Synapse Prime
    Luftrausers

    PS Vita: The Hungry Horde
    Escape Plan

I mean this is embarassing. I mean cheap NES/Andriod looking side scrolling indies. I mean outside of Outlast, Resogun, striker the PS + games have been down right cheap and pathetic. I mean how about games like Metal Gear Solid, NFS, Assasian’s creed, Tomb Raider? Or if you going to let Indies be the PS + line up especially for PS4 then give us well developed ones. I mean my sister could make better games and she is blind in one eye. One day away from the drop and no offical announcement. Let’s not forget the Rest mode issue. And how about Driveclub, 1 month later still not a peep about that. I mean how you delay a game a YEAR and STILL COULDN’T get the servers right. Then your grand plan is to make people pay for the game in order to play it. Well the Crew and other racers will be out in 1-2 months so we as PS4 owners will gladly pick up better quality and FINISHED racers. I mean the guys at Xbox and Microsoft with Forza are just clowning us PS4 Owners and it’s embarassing for us and you SHOULD be embarassed too.

I mean as a ps4 owner can you guys NOT DO BETTER but to give us month in and month out side scrolling gameboy color looking games. We are REQUIRED to have the PS+ to play ANY online games and so far we have two quality games to show for it. Resogun and outlast and if you have friends over sportsfriends can be fun. Other then that the PS+ have been embarassing. You there are games like Golf club out, Assassian’s Creed out, Metal Gear Solid, Tomb Raider, heck even Need for Speed that would be great PS+ Games. Instead we get The Binding of Isaac SteamWorld Dig. If my PS+ wasn’t required I’d cancel it immediately. Not to mention we still have NO DRIVECLUB a month later and that game was supposed to be a LAUNCH title. Now we can’t turn on the PS4 if it goes into Rest Mode….

Embarassing… Xbox, Microsoft, and ESPECIALLY FORZA fans are laughing at us and we have NO COMEBACK…

  • Censoring your customers’ comments is no way to encourage brand loyalty. Only allowing positive comments on a blog that you bill as ‘the lifeblood of the PlayStation.Blog’ is not exactly sending the right message to your customers.

The reason that Sony has postponed revealing the new additions to the IGC for November of 2014 is because they know that the majority of PS+ subscribers are going to respond extremely negatively to the bucketful of indie garbage being foisted off on us this month.

You had better have something spectacular up your sleeves for December, Sony. A LOT of people took advantage of Black Friday sales to become new subscribers to PS+. Those people are up for renewal soon, and if a bunch of Steam ports and indie titles are the best you’ve got to offer, don’t be surprised when the people who don’t HAVE to have PS+ for their PS4 don’t renew.

    You simply AREN’T LISTENING.

  • XBOX, Microsoft, and Fotza fans are laughing at us?

    OH NO!

Seriously? Grow up. They’re having an issue. They’ll fix it. Stop worrying about what other people think and just be patient

  • Week of PS+ Edition!

  • sucky week. Plus a horrible PS+ Nov line-up. Im glad my PS+ sub expires soon with all the crap you’re giving us. You didnt even bother following through on the Driveclub version that was promised

  • You guys do realize that the PS+ is mainly for discounts right? The so called “free” games are just a bonus. Besides, you should know by now they aren’t gonna give you something like Call of Duty for free.

  • @177 They didn’t even bother? The game is broken. The game is broken for people who actually paid for it. They need to fix it for those people first. I’m sure they are well aware that people are unhappy about the DriveClub fiasco but they have to take care of people who paid the full sixty bucks before anything else.

We’ll get it or something else eventually.

  • The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (PS4)
SteamWorld Dig (PS4; cross-buy with PS Vita)
    Frozen Synapse Prime (PS3)
Luftrausers (PS3; cross-buy with PS Vita)
    The Hungry Horde (PS Vita)
Escape Plan (PS Vita; cross-buy with PS4)

  • And why has the PS+ November post disappeared?

Because it is a mediocre line-up of indie games most PC/Mac/Linux gamers probably already have, or if they don’t they’re simply not interested?

Or because of the obvious failure of DriveClub, of which weirdly enough the commercial version is perfectly available but the demo/PS+ version somehow cannot?

We just changed plans to offer a batch of PS4 for our christmas gift employee giveaway and went for for Xbox One’s, not only because of that, the many server failures and also the repeated failure or Sony’s after-sale service to fix our numerous failing Ultra Slim PS3 because of it’s utter cheap build.

  • Has anyone on here played the Disney Infinity game? It looks like fun.

  • hey Sid, Nick, Ryan, and Justin, is their any word on Singstar? I seen the trophy pic has changed. I need a “good” karaoke game. Keep up the great work.

  • hey Sid, Nick, Ryan, and Justin, is their any word on Singstar? I seen the trophy pic has changed. I need a “good” karaoke game. Keep up the great work.

  • I have started to just purchase used physical copies of the games that I enjoy from the IGC, so they aren’t tied to my subscription to PS+. Since Sony won’t LET me purchase any games from the PSN that I have already received “free” with my paid subscription, I have no other alternative than to buy them from a third-party retailer, ensuring that Sony gets NONE of my money, but I still get the game I want.

I asked Sony if they would just delete the games I wanted to purchase from my Downloads List, so I would be eligible to purchase them from the PSN. They advised me to just create a brand-new account. Ummm… no. Why would I want two separate accounts just to be able to have my entire library of games on one single PS3 console?

If I renew my PS+ subscription this year, it won’t be for the IGC. I don’t want to be prevented from purchasing games by the very company that I am trying to give my money to.

  • This is just BS. I’ve noticed all the comments being deleted since yesterday morning. Most were from that one guy spamming the blog, but not all of them were. I have to agree with CraddaPoosta in this case: It’s counterproductive in the extreme to manage us in this way.

The one guy spamming was actually helpful in some of his posts and elicited the most useful replies. I have to admit that if not for his spot-on Clements impression and general sense of humor, I might have spoken out against him. But he made a perfectly valid point even with the silliest of his spams: Who cares anyway? If anyone cared enough to come on here and simply answer legit concerns, then comments like his would be drowned out by logic.

It’s been the case for far too long that most of the answers one gets around here are from other users. Of course that should continue, but it should at the very least be supplemented with real answers from actual Sony staff much more often.

  • I pre ordered the day zero edition last night and i got to play it this morning it was the best feeling ever

  • Meanwhile, I’m only marginally interested in a few of these games. I want TWD Season 2, but the retail price is ridiculous. I’ll just wait for the inevitable $5 sale on PSN. Might settle for a few of this month’s Plus indies…but only because they’re “free” (i.e. don’t cost extra).

  • Wow this is bull S*** i had i bought probedition 100$ and pre downloaded then i tried to get on today and stupid peice of sh*** keeps saying 12 hours untill available im suppose to have day zero and i deleted the game so now i have to redownload which is going to take 10 hours by then i will be at work and wont even get to play with any double exp this is bull sh**** FIX YOUR SHT SONNY

  • yes! been waiting for Rocksmith for the PS4!

  • Any plans to start including PS Now titles in the drop? In other words, a ” new on ps now” section, or something to that effect

  • @ThumbsOfSteel74:

Further, the fact that sincere comments from Sony’s customer base on this blog were deleted to “control the message” does nothing but make gamers like me all the more suspicious. Remember the last time a celebrity deleted an incendiary Tweet, and NO one remembered the original one, or noticed that their Tweet mysteriously disappeared?

    Yeah, me neither.

I am reminded of Officer Barbrady shooing the residents of South Park away.

“Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.”

“Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.”

  • Something HAS to be rotten in Denmark, though, for it to be the very last day before the new games get added to the IGC, without any official announcement from Sony. I can’t wait to see how they spin THIS one.

  • This comments section is just sad people griping about things have problems posting the same thing 2-4 times It’s childish. When he can he will tell you he doesn’t make the decisions. Driveclub is the devs fault not Sony’s. There is way to much entitlement here bu but I paid, So you paid for something when your electricity turns off do they give you a direct answer no, When your cable is out do they give you a direct answer before they figure out what is wrong… Nope Whenever I call them it’s a There is an outage in your area or some such line… but anymore than that you’re gonna get no where. I swear people these days have 0 patience. calm down and wait it out.

  • Woooow …. tonight nobody sleep … tomorrow prepared the torches and pitchforks it’s going to be a riot in the playststion blog! !! …

  • +jakekoloko that is a funny comment dude, you just made me laugh… Now as for the drop, it looks nice but nothing that I would buy, the COD game seems a merge between Modern Warfare and Black ops 2, nothing really exciting…

Now the Ps+ games it is what it is, I used to be a ps+ member until last month because since PS+ is required the service has gone from bad to worse, im sure people is not asking for AAA games every month but when you have been giving indie games for a full year it is normal for people to react the way they do.

As for the guys getting angry about Microsoft IGC better than PS+ you need to understand that these guys are proud owners of a PS4 or PS3. In my case I have owned PS, PS2 and PS3 all the kids in my family own PS3, all my friends have PS3 and PS+ and at this point none of them will buy a PS4 for the following reasons: Issues and games, after Destiny none of my friend wants to buy a PS4 until next year because we are waiting to see which games are going to be released.

Now to finish, the guys that write in here can´t tell anything about whats going on with the updates or PS+ IGC unless they let them.. So there is no need to be a**holes with them…

  • How much with Isaac be? 10? 15?

  • @hheecckk526: I haven’t noticed any official confirmation from anyone, but given that the PC version is $15, and this is crossbuy, I’d say at least $15. Could be another Rogue Legacy situation where it’s $17 or something, but RL had a PS3 version along with the PS4/Vita versions, so I doubt that’ll happen.

  • Will Probley pick up Wolf Among Us for PS4 and some stuff that’s on sale this week.

  • I would like to see more dedicated PS4 titles. Everytime I see a game that’s on both systems, it makes me wonder what the point of the PS4 is. Could we have not just released an updated version of the PS3 and achieved the exact same thing?
