Diablo III conquered the PlayStation Store charts in August, with a number 1 debut on PS4 and a second-place entry on PS3 (behind only the mighty Minecraft).
The Last of Us Remastered held strong at #2, and we saw strong debuts from inFAMOUS First Light and Madden NFL 15.
Head over to the EU PlayStation.Blog for a look at their charts, and let us know what you think is going to take top honors in September (we can probably guess).
I’ve been really enjoying Diablo III on the PS4, and now we are a few weeks away from Shadows of Mordor. Very excited for that one. Too many games, too little time…
in October’s Top seller , NBA 2k15 is number one, 2nd is The Evil Within, 3rd is Driveclub, 4th is Alien Isolation, 5th is Lord of the Fallen, 6th is WWE 2k15
in November’s Top Seller, 1st is COD advanced Warfare, 2nd is Assassin Creed Unity, 3rd is Farcry 4, 4th is Dragon Age Inqustion, 5th is Little big planet 3, 6th is Project Cars, 7th is Assassin Creed Rogue, 8th is The Crew
Too bad it wasn’t release physically, and that the translation was really bad. But I’m still enjoying the game. Hopefully Bandai Namco continues to support the Vita.
I would like to see a flash sale on PSP games. At $10.00+ per title they are a little bit high. Some of us still have our PSPs so if there was a sale at $.99 each I would have to grab as many as I could.
with 8/10 top ten games on Vita being non-Indies, I think this shows the continued demand for something OTHER THAN JUST Indies on the platform. Maybe Sony will get that message sometime soon (one can hope at least)
Indeed. SAO:HF already has over 2100 ratings on the North American storefront – even the mighty Persona 4 Golden has around 4500. (That said, those votes only account for PSN purchases, so woul not account for physical sales of P4G.)
It’ll be interesting to see how sales for the game hold up in September, not least once the update on September 23rd goes live.
Hopefully this will encourage Bamco to look at other titles, like God Eater 2: Rage Burst, Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Out of Order, or perhaps the next SAO game (since one has apparently been green-lighted over in Japan).
Good to see two Tales of games on there but no Xillia 2 is kind of depressing. And look at that…shocker….old ps1 FF games top the list of classics. Get on it SQUENIX!!
It’s pretty sad when Final Fantasy takes the top spot for half of the PSOne Classics. Don’t get me wrong, I like me some FF, but we really need something new. There’s still plenty of classics we don’t have yet.
The PSP got so many first party exclusives yet the Vita is just getting rehashes of old games or ports. I know the install base is terrible but the only way to build it is through exclusives.
To be honest???
The list of the VITA game is MAGNIFICENT!!!
Way better than any other list!!!
I have tried each of these games and I own most of them… AMAZING!!!

Fixed that for you. Fifa sells better in EU, not so much in the US. Though it will probably be in the top 5, if not higher than Shadow of Mordor, as you predicted.
The problem ROS(PS3) is that it will have no patch support, so any new content that comes out will be unavailable to those playing on ps3. Ps4 will have patch support however.
So those looking at the Diablo 3 (ROS) for ps3 pass on it till you get a ps4, or buy it for PC(if your comp can run it)
BIG congrats on being #1 in hardware sales for the EIGHTH MONTH IN A ROW! Expecting Minecraft PS4 to top the chart for September (October? Shadow of Mordor).
First!
The drought is finally over, and it’s glorious!

It’s no surprise that almost everything on those lists is either brand new or has recently been on sale.

The digital Vita Sly collection is botched, I’m glad I was given a refund. It has a myriad of unacceptable flaws that other buyers will attest to.
Sword Art Online #1 for Vita!

November’s top seller vita game is gonna be FREEDOM WARS!! >:D

I’ll have to check out Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster never played the ps2 versions so this should be good

Nice to see Diablo III: Reaper of Souls at that top spot.

Very good to see Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds in the top 10.
Wow the EU blog just looks way better and look they even include links to the store so people can actually go there and buy the top selling games :p.

All I want now is a full PSP PSONE compatibility
Long live the vita!!!

It breaks my heart to see TMNT: Out of the Shadows charting.
So many people suckered in. So many wastes of $14.99.
it’s really nice to see SAO at the top, hopefully this will bring more localizations for us in the future.
To bad I didn’t enjoy the DLC for Diablo III it just cost to much for a DLC :(
