I already have beaten Guacamelee on my PS Vita and i found it very very good game that controls very well even thought controlling the Vita is harder than the Dualshock. I bought the game on sale for $5 and one of the costume packs for $2 and it was a money well spent. Now i was planning to play the game again on my Vita to get the Platinum, but then i saw the game being released for PS4 so i just bought it.
Moving to the PS4 is a big step up, the visuals are in native 1080p @ 60 fps and the game feels not only more pretty but it feels alive. The DualShock + 60fps is a huge upgrade and that gorgeous 1080p resolution on the PS4 spoils my eyes. I bought the game for PS4 for 13.49 $ because of being a PS+ user. Now i find that $ 13.49 / $ 15 price very reasonable for people who haven’t already played the game but i think there should be some compensation for the people who already have that game on the Vita/PS3. Now i bought the game for PS Vita for $5 so it is not a big deal for me but people spending $15 for PS3/Vita and $15 for the PS4 is a bit steep, so may be you should throw in a 5 $ credit for people who already own the game on PS3/Vita
Even still it is one of the games that when i hear it’s name i will always remember of the good hours i spent on the game. I can’t say that about many AAA games

Strider and Tower fall ascension are supposed to be available today 02/07/14 but still only showing last months titles which I already have. What time will these games be available from? Dazziano they are already avalable, infact whey were already avalable at like 2pm which is earlier than the normal 5pm time. You can get them from your PS4 or from your Browser. I always use the browser to add all of the IGC games at once and then go to my library to download them.
the vita stuff looks interesting, but how about actually shipping some vitas to retailers so people can buy one?
i’ve been looking for a slim vita at msrp for the last 3 weeks. gamestop, best buy, target, walmart are all sold out in a 100 mile radius and on their website, and amazon only has 3rd party resellers listing the console at $280. even the sony website is sold out.

Like a lot of people, I’m not too excited about this week’s sales. Not gonna toss in some obligatory verbiage about how nice it is for whoever likes them…because it’s not obligatory. My opinion is just that, and when I see something worth buying at a price I like I’ll post that.
I don’t get it…you guys made all the free games of this month available in one single day…. I know it used to be like this…..so does this mean you guys are getting back to this formula of giving us the free games of the IGC?….it doesn’t matter to me,I’m just curious about it.

Sony, you need to fix the Price of PS Now. These prices are outrageous.
A game rental can’t cost more than it’s actual purchase.
Here’s how it should be:
4 hours = 5% to 10% of the game’s price
7 days = 15% to 25% of the game’s price
30 days = 35% to 40% of the game’s price
90 days= 50% to 65% of the game’s price

I bought the original Guacamelee! on PS3/PSV in North America, why is there no upgrade package?
We wanted to have an upgrade package available to all those who purchased the original Guacamelee! on the PS3 or PSVita. The upgrade package is available in Europe and in Asia, but due to reasons that are not clear to us, an upgrade was not possible in North America. This decision was outside of our control, and we are disappointed along with our fans.
So, thank you Sony, great move, now people who already own it on ps3 won’t give 15dlls, and people like me would have paid for it with a discount as Europe did. 4.99EUR in Europe with the upgrade.
I have no idea why the sales, and now an upgrade it is so much better in Europe, please hire the people from Europe, they make an amazing job, the sales and promotions in America is getting worse and in Europe is getting amazing.

@Aremus_: Frankly, I had previously thought that all the grumping over the new-ish version of Guacamelee! was just that. (And a lot of it still is.) After all, new versions of older games are released all the time with no option to upgrade at a reduced rate. But after seeing your post, it now seems more legitimate to me for everyone to question this. I know things are different in the EU and all that, but it would be nice if someone from Sony or the developer/publisher would show up and explain why or why not when things happen there but not here. Not *demanding* that they do so…just saying it would be nice.

Just purchased a Vita with instant game collection. I can download Doki-Doki Universe and play it, but the second game is not for free? Is this an error? Is it like one game every 15 days or so?
I’m really disappointed that the EU store has a PS4 Upgrade option for Guacamelee and not us in the US who bought the game. I will wait until a sale because I’m not buying the game again at full price. I hate this weird rules Sony has for games in EU and USA.

This frustrates me as well. I’ve played the previous 3 installments of this game, but now my PS3 is out of commission. It made my day when I saw the next game in the series was PS3/PSVita, and it pretty well upset me when they brought the Vita version to the EU but not the US.

Question though, the very last item on the “Sales” chart is “Dinosaur Hunter” and it says its for PS Vita. But when I searched the store I couldn’t find it. There was one for PS3 and a bundle of some sort for PSP (but even it was still $3.99, not the $1.49 advertised here), but nothing for Vita. What gives?
I’m not sure how wide spread this is but for me Strider is claiming that it is just the demo and not the full game. I’d assume this may be because I previously tried the demo about a month ago. Although upon checking my saved data there isn’t any saves and I have tried reinstalling multiple times. Hope this is addressed in some way soon.

absolutely ridiculous, honestly at this point I’m not surprised at all that pc has more market value ( since april2014) than all consoles combined, I mean look at the prices!! every day a couple of triple A games go below 10-5 bucks on steam, and again it’s updated every single day, and the best sony can offer is this? they cannot get back in the game with these prices I tell ya’!
…last time i pre-order a game for a bonus. Got Sniper Elite 3 pre-order but after it installed and unlocked I couldn’t get the Grey Wolf DLC to work. Deleted and reinstalled the dlc, nope. Deleted the dlc and the full game, re-download and install – nope still not working.
Plus, multiplayer setup is completely broken. Get into a match only have it time out or quit on its own.
