That sucks :( About the mature content part, bi play The Last Of Us, Resident Evil, and pretty much any M rated game like GTA, so don’t think it should have that rule xD Im fine with a livestream and i wont be devastated :P
hey sid, i could not get an RSVP, i live in arizona and want to go to the theater in phoenix but you guys are sold out.
will i be able to just show up to the theater and get a ticket at the doors maybe?
@Snags529 you should check with “askplaystation” on twitter, but if my sister is correct ppl who are there in the waiting list line will have a chance but its first come first serve. i tried getting on the dallas/houston/san antonio list via my ipad but the button did nothing for me. mind you i dont speak for sony and dont know first hand so id say do your homework before camping.
@topnotch as a gamer of the 90, i can relate. we got our NES in 89 and have been gamers since. shoot i was playing mortal kombat on SNES by the age of 13. nothing mature about RE to me but MK desensitized me plus i have bad vision.
HOWEVER as an adult GTA player i can say GTA is highly inappropriate for minors. we have enough murderers and thieves without young impressionable ppl playing, granted not all kids are but enough are so i hear. besides its not good for kids to see women of ill repute on the street corner in a game let alone the more mature content for adults. just my belief. parents cant watch kids playtime constantly to prevent encounters.

I was trying to sign up for the Sony E3 Experience online, but it said I was too young to sign up. I tried to buy them about a week ago when they still had plenty tickets, however now they are sold out. I’m currently 17 (turned 17 May 15th), and it still won’t let me sign up. I wanted to go to the theatre in Houston, however, now they are sold out and only accepted a wait list. I’m not sure why this is, must be a glitch in the website or something. Very disappointed in this, I was really looking forward to it. I hope somehow you can help me get my ticket (I only needed 1).

I love that its free, though im personally surprised that sony is not charging a small fee. Not even 5 bucks, millions would still go for 5 bucks. Would be an easy buck for sony…

My wife and I are in Missouri right now on our honeymoon. We chose this area because she, having hailed from Switzerland, has never met my family. My wife is also an avid gamer. We had planned on going to an event called the Playstation e3 event. We were informed that it has been sold out. Is there anything that can be done? I don’t want to break her heart. Even just some stickers or a t shirt? Please.

Hey Autodramatic, from what I heard alot of the tickets were signed up for because of a Battlefield Beta Code. I didn’t get one with my confirmation email. I suggest you just go to the theater as early as possible and wait in the waiting list line. Since seats are only valid until 15min after the start many may not show up as they may have just wanted the code.

Apparently you had to redeem your codes within 24 hours…
It wasn’t stated anywhere on the badge and was not mentioned at the even :(
Just have to say, that i was not told that by code expired in 24 hours or whatever the time frame was. Don’t get me wrong i had a great time, it was worth the 2 hour drive but missed out on some beta’s and some PSN credit due just not being informed.
Ya apparently the only place to see the expiration date was on the website but ONLY during the time you can redeem it? Not before. I don’t remember checking but could you even redeem it directly after the show? Very frustrating
