I’ve been searching used game sections for months looking for Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne after my copy was recently scratched beyond repair.
Now I can finish my game! As far as I know, the save files are compatible with the PS2 classic digital version, right?
Guys. Folks. Namely, NIS America? I need you to understand: I’m not buying the PS2 version of the first Disgaea when the PSP version exists. Please, extend your rotating sales to that incarnation, and I’ll have no choice but to nab.
But, hey, fellow wicked-awxome-localizers Atlus have unleashed SMT Nocturne digitally, so there’s a spectre to look o’er mine head.
@101 guitarpete987 – As I learned with the tens of hours I’d poured into P3FES and ordering a memory card adapter, no, the PS2 Classics use their own save file system, not the Memory Card emulation as PS1 Classics (or PS2 discs, for older PS3s) do.
Wow no comments at all kind of makes me sad
@98 you are right.
Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi
I can’t be the only one that sees Stick it to the Man and think “Psychonauts.” If it’s the closest we’ll get to Psychonauts 2 I’m all for it!
considering I just bought Prototype 2, great timing on the dlc sale.
@10 no. the ps2 classics run off ps3 emulation, to play them on newer ps3s that won’t play ps2 games. you will have to start over.
sorry, *@101
grabbing stick it to the man, but how come the ps3 version isn’t free too?
was interested in getting dragon’s crown ($5 cheaper than the last time it was on sale), but i don’t want to get any time consuming games because i feel it won’t be much longer before i finally get a ps4.
so nothing for me from this sale, but that’s okay because i just bought child of light. after playing the demo a few times, i knew it was a game i had to get now. i’m obviously loving it so far. it’s the first game i bought full price in a long time.
W00t!! Broken Sword 5 on Vita *FINALLY* they’ve finished and released this!! And the price isn’t bad either; I was actually assuming they’d charge more. Man, this–in itself–has made my PSN Update week right there (as I had been thinking about it recently wonder when they were gonna finish the Vita version and had no idea it was coming out now). Will DEFINITELY be picking this up.
Guess it’s time for me to go back and finish playing the 3rd (and 4th) one, lol.
Nocturne Hype!
I will be getting a $20 card soon, Sucks that Golden sale did end, Wanted to snatch both Time and Eternity and Nocturne at once
Please bring Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist to PS VITA even with $40 price.
sooo lets me get this straight.
the new borderlands 2 vita bundle released may 6th with a DL voucher and borderlands 2 isnt available in the PSN store.
fumble.
major fumble.
heres a thought: when releasing a game for PSN DL make sure when it hits the street the game is available on PSN to be downloaded.
2k says the game isnt out till the 18th? where most everywhere else said this vita bundle would be released on may 6th.
oh and the PSN page for GOW vita off my ps3 says the game is 15.6gb? yea fix that. went to download it and DL screen now says im downloading 6000+ mb… sooo 15.6gb-6gb is being tossed out the store, while elsewhere people are stating its only around 3gb.
didnt want to tax my vita with a 3gb download but since the ps3 PSN is faulty, i guess the vita is the only route. the vita psn is correct. the ps3’s GOW vita page is incorrect.
there.
other then that… ROA dlc needs to be lumped together better. 2 ps3 dlc locations for one titles ps3 dlc? also wasnt the vita supposed to be receiving every dlc the ps3 gets? the games are mirror images of each other. cross play/cross save. not to mention the vita vers is the original.
the vita store has only the tiara/sunglasses/emil and you have it listed on the here as the vita only getting gagap/soul sacrifice/sakura.
there is NO gagap/soul sacrifice/homesick sakura dlc to be found off the vitas ROA psn page. only the tiara/sunglasses/emil are available. yet somehow my ps3 does have them under the vitas page???
way to go!
get the VITAs and the PS3s PSN house in order. while these kind of discrepancies arent uncommon. they are becoming more and more prevalent.
no customer wants to go on a scavenger hunt to just get the content that is promised to them. not to mention, not everyone has a ps3/vita/computer combo to merely find the PSN’s officially announced content update listings.
some vita owners are just that. vita owners. they may not have all of the luxuries that others may have.
@shibbydibbybibby: I’m sure they believe doing it this way will sell more bundles. People would buy the game if they could, but now some will start thinking about the age and condition of their current model. It forces the impatient to buy a whole new Vita if they want the game right now. Meanwhile, I get that it sucks after all this time. But it’s only another week to wait. You could always buy used to protest what they did, or wait for a PSN sale.
@free PES in U.S./free Sly in Latin America:
blog(dot)latam(dot)playstation(dot)com/2014/05/07/actualizacion-de-la-playstation-store-mexico-48/
blog(dot)latam(dot)playstation(dot)com/2014/05/07/actualizacion-de-la-playstation-de-argentina-y-chile/
So that explains (almost) everything: the bizarre inclusions of Sly in our store’s Free Games section and PES in theirs despite neither game being free in the respective region.
Just wanted to point out that you guys made a typo in the crunchyroll app update… you’re telling me I can get a free trail… and while I’ve always wanted to own my own trail, I don’t think Crunchyroll has the power to grant that. ;)
Seems like a decent week overall.
Not too thrilled about this months free games for PS Plus, but whatever. :)
Also, I’d love a free trail… Crunchyroll please!
^ – Lol.
Regarding the popcorn sweepstakes:
“Upon successful download of the Video, the entrant will automatically be entered into the Sweepstakes.
Limit one (1) entry per entrant/SEN account into the Sweepstakes, regardless of the number of times an entrant downloads the Video.”
– from the rules, link is in main post.
So you’re not even required to watch the video, and multiple downloads are useless.
When did Naughty Dog get greedy like the CoD people and their map packs??? $5 for Grounded Difficulty on The Last of Us???? First time in my life I’ve seen anyone charge for a DIFFICULTY LEVEL…. lol
Anyone knows how much the PS Vita God of War Collection’s size is? It doesn’t state it on the Vita store.
Microsoft, and Nintendo prices never went up in Canada only Ps4…….why is that? well now I am going to be buying less games not paying 69.99.
@afigueroa: I can’t confirm this, but multiple sources are saying 3.1 GB for just the Vita version.
Apparently the 15.5 GB listed on the web store includes the PS3 version and the Vita version. (I guess they lumped it all together that way since it’s cross-buy.)
Haha thanks for Soul Sacrifice on PS+, I was sad when I heard it was on before and I was meaning to try it out.
Really??? 15.5GB for God of War on Vita? I understand the size for PS3, but for VITA that’s crazy!!
Apparently it’s only 3.1 GB on Vita. 15.5 GB includes all 4 games (PS3 + Vita).
I buy Bound by flames but can´t be downloaded, it keeps getting me errors related to this code nw-31456-9 or 8 or 6, someone help
I can’t seem to find the Just Dance 2014 DLC of The World is Ours, help???
This was a helluva an update….was waiting for that TLoU DLC…didn’t had time to play on the new maps yesterday but sure will do today…now I’m curious…where is the Joe Danger costume for LBP?…it was supposed to be released in this update wasn’t it?…..and awesome simply awesome TLoU avatars…Tess avatar OMG I’ve been waiting for that….shame that I just switched my avatar recently.
I can´t find PS3 Just Dance 2014:
– The World Is Ours – David Correy Ft. Monobloco – Solo (Free)
– 311 Song Pack (Free)
Where is it ?
The show on Ps4 sucks without mp3 capability. When are you going to update the ps4 with mp3 ability?
Time and Eternity has been 19.99 for quite a while in the playstaion store already, so this isn’t really a price drop at all.
@131 I think someone messed up. I don’t think a 311 song pack even exists, and an Ubisoft rep on the official facebook page just replied to someone and said that “The World is Ours” is for PAL regions only and isn’t available in North America.
I know…I got excited, too, when I saw the new free DLC listed…
Nothing interesting for me this week, but anyone who hasn’t got The Last of Us season pass yet, get it now if you haven’t yet. In one week, the season pass is gone. Make sure anyone who owns the game gets it before it disappears. You will be saving a lot of money if you do.
Stick it to the man is an ok game. Hopefully in the future the PS4 games will get better. I am sure knack will soon be in the IGC.
Definitely Sony Has Come A Long Way Since Day 1
