Video Unlimited Highlights:
Plunge into southern crime in Bad Country, see another side of Batman in DCU: Son of Batman and watch Thor save the cosmos (again) in Thor: The Dark World.
Bad Country: If you’ve missed southern crime thrillers since the True Detective finale, then you’re going to love this police procedural, starring Willem Dafoe and Matt Dillon.
It’s 1983 in Baton Rouge and veteran detective Bud Carter (Willem Dafoe) must team up with the notorious contract killer Jesse Welland (Matt Dillon) to take down the mob boss Lutin (Tom Berenger).
DCU: Son of Batman (plus Bonus Features): If you haven’t yet experienced DCU Original movies, then this film is a great place to start. This animated film is the next installment after the six-part narrative Batman: Gotham Knight.
Batman discovers that he has a son with Talia, the daughter of League of Shadows leader Ra’s al Ghul. When Talia faces an uprising within the League, she enlists the help of Batman to protect their son, Damian. Now Batman has two equally difficult challenges: teaching his son how to be a superhero and battling an army of trained ninja assassins.
