    So I’ve purchased the collectors edition of realm reborn over at the PSN store which costs around $69.99, I’ve downloaded and done all the requirements. So here’s my problem It mentions that i have to renew my password over at the Mog Station (which I’ve done) And when i click into my subscriptions it says that i do not have any, where as in the PSN store it mentions that the collectors edition COMES with a 30 day FREE subscription. I’ve linked my square enix account with my psn. Now it asks me for a Product Code, something in which was not included in the download. I’ve redownloaded the colllectors edition over at the psn store atleast 3x now and still the same problem occurs, I do hope you can give me an answer for this issue, Given that i’ve contacted Sony and they tell me that there’s absolutely nothing they can do. I’ve emailed Square Enix countless times about the same problem and yet still no reply.

    I do hope we get answers, Given that I am not the only one having this issue. For the experience that was long awaited for this certainly was proven dissatisfying.

  • I’ve been trying to play FFXIV but my registration code (4-4-4) does not seem to work. Since I have a NA copy of the game and was using an EU PSN account (since i used that in the two Beta tests) i thought it would be a regional problem. So then I switched to my NA PSN account, but every time I try to redeem the registration code I get told that the code is invalid…

    I would appreciate any kind of help regarding my registration code. Thanks!

  • ive played the beta 1 & 2. on the PS4.. great game.. yesterday i purchased the standard bundle from the Playstation store. when i try to log in it keeps going round in circles saying i must first purchase the DLC or a registration code before playing. so basicly so far ive bought a game i cannot play. .
    i feel quite sad

  • after 24 hours of purchasing FF14 ARR for ps4, still i cant play it!.. no reply from the developer or any action from SONY. and i can see that they are not willing to take action with this issue after stealing my 35$.

  • Can anyone help me? I downloaded the standard edition off of the Playstation store (PS4) and then started the game and made my square enix account but then at the stage of linking my accounts it crashed, so I restarted the game and now I asks me to sign into my square enix account and then, after signing in it tells me “no valid service is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. In order to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, you must first purchase the digital download from the Playstation Store or register a product code.” Im guessing this is because my PSN account failed to link to my Square Enix account but I cant find anyway to fix that, please help this is really annoying that I’ve paid for a game that I cant play.   • Im having the same problem. I purchased the standard edition from the PlayStation 4 store and am getting the same error. I have tried contacting support a number of times (they say to call but cant find a number). I now know this is a known issue as per their announcements but I am really disappointed that I still cannot play it or find out why. Has anyone found away to fix this?

  • I purchased Final Fantasy XIV for PS4 from the NA Stores , I did not get any activation code on my Email. I’m using Outlook.com .

  • Hey Matt, I have seen the same issue bought up twice now, and im the third, When I try to log in to FF14 my Square enix ID is already inputted, and greyed out so that I can not remove it/change it to a new one, for people like myself that can not remember or recover those past details this is game breaking, and a waste of money as no matter what we do (delete file/re install) it is always greyed out, the only option should not be to create a new PSN id, that is absurd.please please please follow this issue up with SE, or someone who can help, as i can gaurantee there will be alot more people with the same issue out there

    • As mentioned previously, once a Sony Entertainment Network account is linked to a Square Enix account it cannot be unlinked. If you cannot remember you previous accounts password, please contact the Support Center for assistance: http://sqex.to/WXr

  • Mine was grayed out as well, all i did was click on the box 2 or 3 times.

  • I am having an issue where we can’t get into the game because we have to make a NEW service account to redeem the collector’s rewards. This is on my gf’s account and she’s played the game since PS3 beta phase 3, had her character forever, all we did was buy the PS4 collector’s physical copy. She has been playing the PS4 version just fine until she redeemed her collector’s edition code w/ PSN (it was a 4/4/4 PSN code), updated the client. Now she’s stuck in that screen, can’t login to her character anymore. Any fix for this so far? I can’t call SE because i’ll be going to work soon, so she’s going to need to call them. This is really stupid.

  • Square Enix are some god dam thieves and Final Fantasy needs to cut their ties with this crappy bastards.
    i have wasted 5 hours yesterday on trying to fix this crappy stupid problem just because i purchased it from the playstation store-.-
    and i have wasted 3 more hours today on trying to fix this crap and guess what… not a single good reply or any help

  • Same issue -bought the CD here in Bangkok – registered with Square Enix and their provided key but the other registration is not accepted anywhere – website or PS4 redeem code section….been days now. I read somewhere that I have to possibly register it in the MOG site:

    However I cant get past this whole one token issue – it’s been a farce really. I expected to install the game and then just play it and relax since had a PCL knee reconstruction so stuck on sofa….nice way to kill time right?..no….key not valid lol

  • I checked again and it clearly says “full game”. Even trying to purchase it says I already have it. So pissed off with this misleading statement on PSN.

    So new users will get 720 hours of free play? Or is it 30 calendar days from launch.?? I’ll buy if we get the 720 hours like you clearly stated in the above comment..

  • Question, I participated in early access using the promotional code from preorder, The full game arrived yesterday and I’m not sure what to do with the registration code. I’m still currently playing the game now after early access without even using the registration code. I’m not a ps3 upgrader, rather an existing PC account if that matters. My mogstation doesn’t show service for ps4 either even though i’m playing on it now?

  • @ LIghtCorrai — I am having the same “issue” lol. I have no idea why it’s letting us play without registering the code? In addition, I don’t even need the disc! haha I payed $40 for game that I don’t need because I already have the client on my ps4 and can play without registering the access code. Awesome.

    Is this a known issue? Has “Early Access” maybe not ended yet and we will have to register our codes soon?

  • Hello, I haven’t downloaded the beta version of the game, and I went and got the physical copy from the store today. Can I install the game onto my PS4 so I’m not required to have the disc? I can’t start the game without the disc in my PS4. If I go to PSN it says “unavailable” on FFXIV and it’s not added to my libraries. Anyone know, I assumed it would be like PS3 where you only use the disc to install the game onto the PS machine. Anyone know?

    I’ve spent hours trying to remedy the situation in which I shouldn’t have in the first place, given paying for $70 for something that does not work. PLUS still having the Game still on PSN to purchase is ludicrous given that the DIGITAL DOWNLOAD DOES NOT WORK. http://sqex.to/WXr was of no help either it just sends to to a cycle of filling in forms which asks for your credit card details? Unreasonable and rather unfair to the ones who’ve purchased the digital version on ps4, Money has been taken but service was of no use.

    I paid for a game that does not work, Support centre is next to useless given that COUNTLESS people are having the same problem with the launched Digital version on PS4. Given that we’ve paid money for something that shouldn’t have a problem in the first place, Utter disappointment and misguided.

    I recommend that nobody purchases the Digital version on the PSN network, You will just be wasting your money.

  • Still can’t register it to begin playing on account of an eighteen character registration code being sent with the game and requiring a twenty character one… . Forty dollar space saver on my game shelf for now.

I cant remember the login I used from the beta 1.. I have a SE account too but cant link them. I would hate to waste money on the game. its great!   • They took a while getting the bugs out of the last game i got from them too. Thief. Maybe this company can’t back up what they try to produce. I think an extra month of gameplay(subscription) is in order for all of us who have been paid for on or before the release date and still cannot play because of their shortcomings. On the other hand who knows what blunders we’ll uncover upon actually getting the game started.

  • I am having an issue. I had been a part of the beta process on PS4. Still had the Beta on my PS4 even after the beta was finished. Before the 14th, I had noticed that the full game was available to download, but not yet available to purchase. I had downloaded the client. Yesterday I had purchased the Collectors Edition through the Playstation Store. I cannot log into the client or through the Mog Station without a registration code. I did not receive a registration code at all. Please help, have spent the past 4 hours reviewing this problem.

  • Hey guys, if you bought the physical copy are your like, “where the **** is my registration code? All I have is the membership product registration card!!” Well if you take your manual out and look on the back you will see the PSN registration code. I know, I know, what kind of dumb *** would put that damn code on that back of a manual?! My thoughts exactly.

  • Okay if you bought it for PS4, Go to the playstation store, go to the bottom to REDEEM CODES, enter in the 12 digit code on the back of the FFXIV pamphlet not the 18 digit one.

  • I purchased this game from gamestop. I got a product registration code and linked it to me Square Enix account. I also have me psn account linked to my Square Enix account. When I enter my user name and password to login on my PS4 it says wrong username or password. I have triple checked my account info but still wont let me login. WHY?????????????????????????

  • I bought the game for PS4 where I also tried to play the Beta. When I bought the game at Gamestop I was given the registration code 4-4-4 and it let me use it to install the game. Once I installed and updated the game I tried to go into it and follow the instructions of making an account and linking it and registering payment information.

    I registered my game online with my email on the Playstation Network website. I then tried to link the account to my playstation on the Square-Enix website and it gives me an error: “Account linking failed. This may be due to your PlayStation Network account being incomplete.”

    The playstation has defaulted my Square-Enix ID and I cannot change it so I cannot log in. I’ve emailed Square-Enix but haven’t gotten any response from them.

    What is the required account information that is needed for the PS4 to be linked to their website? I cannot find anything online that states why this issue is occurring nor any answer for the people that are effected by it.

    Any ideas?

  • I’m having problems being able to play my game. The only code I’ve been able to find was from the inside of the case on a smaller card that’s black, red, and white. The top says Square Enix Members. In the red, it says “product registration card” and in the white there is a code in the 6-3-6-3 format. I entered the code and under my profile, it says that it’s registered on the PS4. When I tried running the game, it said that it wasn’t registered. Is there some other code that I’m missing? Please help!

  • im having the same problems, im selling my ps4 and buying a ps3 because ive had nothing but problems with the ps4. i try to redeem the code it says already used or invalid, i try to link my accounts and it says incomplete and ive never even had a square-enix account so its not like theres already one linked, ive wasted 3 days now trying hour after hour to get this stupid thing working.
