Virtual reality! Immersive gaming experiences! Laurence Fishburne jokes!

We finally took the covers off Project Morpheus this week, throwing our hat into the emerging world of Virtual Reality. This baby’s still a prototype, but it’s showing immense promise so far.

That’s not all we got this week, either. Long-awaited superhuman adventure inFAMOUS Second Son is out now on PS4 (make sure you check out the Paper Trail missions… super cool), and gamers are all over it. Careful with those Twitch streams though — spoilers abound!

Oh, and let’s not forget Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Final Fantasy X | X2 HD Remaster, and Vlambeer’s new arcade dogfighting sim Luftrausers, either. What a wild week it’s been… and I haven’t even mentioned GDC 2014!

Other highlights: Share enhancements and HDCP off coming to PS4 in an upcoming update, PS Vita is getting a gaggle of new apps, and we got a closer look at the upcoming supernatural thriller Murdered: Soul Suspect.

Quick aside: I worked pretty hard behind the scenes on this piece highlighting our on-site music studio and the incredible work they did on the Second Son soundtrack. I’m really proud of the final product — shouts out to all the folks who helped make it happen.
