I think the best way to start off any new month is with two free PlayStation Plus games. For March we have Dead Nation: Apocalpyse Edition for your PlayStation 4 and Tomb Raider for your PlayStation 3. If you’re unfamiliar with the original Dead Nation, it’s a top-down twin-stick shooter that’s best experienced with a friend. Make sure you’ve got a strategy and plenty of items before you head out to take down hordes of zombies. The Apocalypse Edition was just announced last week, will be hitting PlayStation Store tomorrow, and it has some interesting benefits like an interactive live streaming option.
Then we have last year’s critically acclaimed reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise. Witness Lara’s growth from young archeologist to bad-ass adventurer as her expedition gets shipwrecked on a mysterious island. Lara has to do a lot to survive, including live through several impalings, explore her surroundings and hunt wildlife.

Um I don’t wanna be a pain to Kristine or Morgan (both are amazing on the Blog) and I am thankful for all their help in the past. I am still having a issue with the webstore. I can not buy any games for PS4 or PS3 or even Vita . is there an update coming to fixing that issue? I hate missing out on future PS Plus games or deals. TY both and much love

Zombie online CO-OP is goin to be good it should help tide me over til Infamous Second Son & BF4 naval warfare expansion pack at the end of the month too … Overall not too bad for the month of march for me for the PS4

Nice discount on NFS The Run…I’ll definitely get it for that price…btw that would be a perfect game to be offered for free in the IGC but whatever I’ll buy for $5.00….and damn NFS Carbon too?…I have a lot of great memories of that game on PS2…may get that one too.

you guys are putting NFS on sale ….wow i was just saying to myself a couple of days ago i needed a good racer in my collection. question is which one do i choose? I played the Run and loved it. so its against Hot Pursuit or Most Wanted.
and when do the Store Update? I am on the EST Side. and its 7am right now, no update..

NFS Most Wanted is more like Burnout Paradise Island, and the cars crash way too easy (playing it as we speak). My personal favorite is Hot Pursuit. You should get both if you can. At those prices, you can’t go wrong. The store usually starts updating around 3 p.m. Eastern.

@klassymike Is it possible you’re crashing a lot in NFS: Most Wanted because you’re trying to drive while posting on the PlayStation blog at the same time? ;-) I love NFS:MW, then again I loved Burnout Paradise and would highly recommend both games to everyone.
Not long now, just got to get work out the way, rush home and start mashing up some Zombies in Dead Nation. Can’t wait, played this game to death on the PS3.

Good one! I love both of those games too, and highly recommend both of them. I was just saying, it seems like when you hit something going fairly slow you crash out, which isn’t the case in Hot Pursuit, well not as easy anyway. Thanks for the laugh though!
i beat tomb raider on ps3 and it was one of my favorite games of that console generation. i will definitely download dead nation as it looks to include some of the co-op action my friends and i have been looking for.

Bigger troll ? i was never even a little troll. we just never saw eye to eye. owell it is what it is.. decline67 i have a 700 GB harddrive i installed in my ps3. over 130 psn games i paid for. all was holding up well until these FULL retail games started becoming dirt cheap and take up way more space then the reg psn games. i prefer my retail games to be on disc but when full games come along like need for speed for ONLY 5$… i bite everytime. bye bye a ton of GB space.

I’m Still having a problems trying to purchase games on the PSN store on my PC.
When I’m not signed in you see the ADD TO CART button but once I sign into the network the ADD TO CART button no longer is there.I cant add any games to my cart. The browser doesn’t seem to matter I tried different ones, same problem on them all.
I’ve on line chatted with support no help, called tech support that was even a bigger wast of time. Can someone fix the problem!

Awesome update! I loved DN on PS3 and we spent a lot of hours on this game with my friend. It was awesome fun, and we will enjoy it again! Yay 1080p + 60fps <3

That’s happened to me before. It’s not free on the web store either. I think it’s just the update procedure. It’s not an instantaneous process. The new game is listed in the store, them the PS+ switch gets flipped. Just wait. It’ll go free, likely by late afternoon.
@189 no its still always the same thing every single month. The plus section doesn’t ever update til later. You will be charge every time u try to get it before the fullupdate at 2pm pst. So same thing as before

I just picked up a PS4 today and am downloading some free plus games but it wont let me grab Outlast! Says it’s for plus membwrs and I just renewed/extended my membership. WTF?!
Nicely Done Sony… Especially on the Need For Speed discounts. I WAAAAANT!!!! Sadly, the discounts haven’t reflected when i check the PS store on my system. Is it too soon to expect the discounts?
The PS3 version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted is already showing up at the discounted rate, but the Vita version is still priced at $9.99.
Can anyone advise as to which console I should get it for? I have tons of fighting games for my Vita, along with a few others like Assassin’s Creed: Liberation, Hot Shots Golf and Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, but not a single racing game, which is something I’ve sorely been missing.
Don’t have many racing titles for my PS3, either, but I have probably at least 60 games for the PS3, with at least 40 of them still in my backlog.

Yeah I enjoyed Dead Nation when I got it free the first time. Not happy with this update/ Would have been awesome if you had released the ps4 Tomb Raider instead. Where is Drive Club btw? Weren’t we supposed to get that in February?
@ReZZeRx – I would go to the contact us part of the website and call while they should be operating the phones and have someone make sure you’re info is all correct and it’s not just a issue of waiting for something to kick in. OR talk to one of the chatroom people, they have helped me a couple times. Hope it gets sorted because Outlast is awesome. It’s scary/gory/physchological/stealthy and filled with intense moments.
Also Dead Nation is now FREE on the store for me (in Canada) so I hope that helps somebody somehow
