Everyone here at Bungie is thrilled to help ring in the next generation of gaming, and to celebrate the launch of the PlayStation 4. Though we couldn’t bring the entire studio to the launch event in NYC, we thought it was only right to deliver a little taste of in-engine footage. Check it out!
We also announced that the Destiny Beta will be available first on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. To reserve your seat, pre-order the game at select retailers.

@109 If the Headset you bought is the pulse elite, you can use the cable attachment that came with it and plug it into the DS4 and it works not just audio but microphone as well. IGN did a video about it.
So the only way to get Beta access is to get the codes from this comments section?

I haven’t checked out the different classes, but I think Hunter will be up my alley. Sucks I couldn’t get the PS4 on my b-day…the day before drop. Hoping I don’t have the wifi issues I was having earlier. Couldn’t get it to work right but had to get back to work. Talk about a total suckfest. I WANT TO PLAY!!!

Even without the beta, I’m excited about this game. I’ve watched the reveal video enough times to tattoo the images upon my retinas. Exploration, massive battles, and plenty of loot. What’s not to love? I’m holding off on buying PS4 til Dec/Jan. I’ll be sure to put in a pre-order before then. Still 2014 is going to be a very exciting year.

I have a quick question. If I pre-order this for the PS4, can I redeem the beta code for my PS3? Or is the beta only available for the PS4? I plan on waiting to get the PS4 but I still want to participate in the beta. Thank you!
@Lady_Kasai You will be able to select your preferred platform, prior to the Destiny Beta live date in 2014. Your choice of platform for the Beta is not tied to the platform you have preordered, and you will be able to select your preferred platform prior to generating your Destiny Beta download code.

Can PS3 and PS4 players play together online? Not sure which version of game to get. I have both, but many PS3 friends have not upgraded yet.
The video on this page doesn’t play on PS4 browser that I am using.
