The Drop: New PlayStation Releases for November 12th, 2013
The Drop

What do you do when a notorious, intergalactic criminal is being transported along the edges of space? Ask Ratchet and Clank to come along for the ride! Experience the epilogue to the Future series with Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus, a new, story-driven adventure starring a classic gaming duo.

With Into the Nexus, the team at Insomniac Games has once again built a planet-jumping tale of adventure and daring. The story follows Ratchet and Clank as they work to stop the terrifyingly powerful Vendra Prog, whose intentions defy the very boundaries of the dimension. Into the Nexus features brand new weapons, new planets to explore, and — of course — the iconic humor that series fans will recognize right from the start. Into the Nexus will be available in stores and on PlayStation Store this coming Tuesday.

But Ratchet and Clank aren’t the only brave souls facing an alien threat this week. XCOM: Enemy Within is also launching for PS3 on the 12th. Fans of XCOM: Enemy Unknown, take note: Enemy Within is a huge, standalone expansion that incorporates everything from the first strategy experience, but with a staggering number of additions.

Enemy Within adds new maps, new missions, a new soldier class, new alien opponents, and even a new currency that can change the flow of battle. Just about everything from Enemy Unknown has been refined and expanded on. Anyone looking for a rich, rewarding strategy campaign should keep XCOM: Enemy Within on their radar.

This week also sees the arrival of three new Wonderbook experiences. For a complete list of the games coming this week, read on — and enjoy the Drop.

But wait! There’s a certain, special event happening this coming Friday, November 15th. You may have heard of it. The PS4 launch is here at last, and we’ll have more details on the full PS4 launch lineup of games on Friday.

  • Isn’t the purpose of the Drop to give us a couple of days notice so we can buy games/spend money on Sony products?

Then what half-wit decided that we don’t get the list of upcoming PS4 games until the day the system launches.

Are you trying to keep people from buying/planning to buy PS4 games?

Less than a week away and we still know barely anything about the PS4 that matters, other than the lack of mp3, cd, hard drive, dlna, support etc… Have you even shown us the UI yet?

Anyway back to the main point, there is no reason not to post what’s coming out on the PS4, I’ve been waiting months for the final list. Considering all the secrecy and Sony B S, I’ll have to assume more Delays and disappointments for the PS4 are on the way (like watch dogs, the most highly hyped launch title being delayed)

  • I nioticed that a lot of people don’t still have ps plus what you get with your system is only for a month I think. You still have to buy the service sooner than what you think. PS4 day 1 shipping I’m out

  • OMG I want the new R&C so bad… But man I seriously have bought like 10 games for all my systems in the past month and I’m finishing them all as fast as I can but I still have some left… So I guess this will have to wait a little bit :(

  • If you’re already a Plus member, DO NOT try to use the Plus voucher packed with your PS4. Give it away to a non-member. Sony has confirmed that it WILL NOT stack onto your current subscription. You’ve been warned.

    PLAYSTATION 4 OWNERS—>

You CAN download PS4 games right NOW, under the PS4 tab at the top of this page.

I DL’ed Warframe last week, so that when I start up the PSN store for the 1st time, it’s all good to go. No searching forever to find what I want, when I’m ready to play.

ALSO, more titles were announced to be released on NOVEMBER 15th, which is launch day. Hence the term: “Day 1 Games”.

So, do not freak out, because no more PS4 titles are listed for today. Today is “Day -3”, NOT Day 1.

See you all in game, on DAY 1!

    Have a great day.

  • @105 Download now?

How did you get your PS4 this early?

  • Excited for Bioshock Infinite: Burial At Sea! I have to wait on the PS4 for now, but I hope the rest of you enjoy it!

  • Ant word on the prices of the Wonderbook titles. I have some credit and I’m either gonna buy one of them or something now. Are any of the 20 if not I’m gonna buy some other things now and get them on Thursday of vise versa. Would rather have the Wonderbook stuff now as I have off tonight and can spend time playing one with my son tonight. I have a feeling there all 30. I have 20 credit. Would be nice to know the prices still can’t find a single thing about them on the internet. No store has the disk only potions one listed.

  • Where is the DLC : “Bioshock Infinite : Burial at Sea” ? is not in the store…

  • isnt the 2nd week of the vita knockout sale3 suppose to happen today? whats going on with that? is it cancelled or something?
