Will we be allowed to copy and play our own music (MP3) to and from the PS4 hdd?
Sony said this in their last PSNBlog update:
“Background music player
Users can enjoy gameplay while listening to music in the background with Music Unlimited, a cloud-based digital music service. Users can also voice chat with friends while listening to music. Learn more about Music Unlimited here.”
The key wording here being WITH MUSIC UNLIMITED, which is a $100 cloud based music streaming service.

Just a thought, but that whole Angry Birds thing is ridiculous.. $40 for PS3 and $40 for the Vita version… its pretty much free on cell phones… i didnt pay a dime for any of the Angry Birds stuff on any of my cell phones, i sure as heck am not paying for it on anything else….

Sony please please keep adding more apps to the Psvita! its hands down the best handheld gaming device and with apps like the NBA app, crackle, hulu, snag, vidzone,iheart, pandora,epix, dailymotion this would blow most tablets out of the water!!! a true gaming device with gaming, music, movie and web browsing?!!! oh my God Sony you guys would be walking on water! and if a port of the PlayStation home came to Psvita……well… game over! noting would come close to this mighty gaming device. so how about Sony? while we wait for the great upcoming titles for the Psvita keep up busy and satisfied with this dream list of apps and i guarantee sale go thru the roof!!!! and people everywhere will be saying where can i buy one!!!!

I am on the fence about buying the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Gold Edition digitally, but could you please explain what exactly is included with the purchase?
Is it just the game and the season pass? Or are the other dlc’s available right now also included?
I am wanting to get the full package including the PS4 upgrade.
Any help from anybody would be graciously appreciated.

Angry Birds $39.99
Call of Duty was made by the same developer that made Resistance. Both are pretty much the same game yet the one PUBLISHED by ACTIVISION is almost DOUBLE in price. Also if you look at the prices of games published by SCEA, most will fit into one of the 3 pricing levels ($36, $27 or $18).
Lastly, if you don’t like the price of a game just DON’T BUY IT. If the game doesn’t sell, they might drop it. But If you just have to complain, go complain to the PUBLISHER. Complaining here achieves nothing (unless that publisher happens to be SCEA).
Also just wanted to add that Activision is the publisher of Angry Birds on consoles and handhelds only.
The Android and iOS versions are developed and published by Rovio (formerly published by Chillingo).

sooo. that nice guy who used to notify us about the next month perks for the plus service, is he still working around there? you guys finally just gave up on keeping a regular update time, day or even a month?
ARGH! Sine Mora was the only free game I was looking forward to all this month (It’s M which is usually a non-starter for me, but you can turn off the M part by disabling subtitles, I read, so I’m willing to give it a try for free. I already own SoC). I downloaded it to my PS3 and then noticed it was for vita, which I do not own. Very frustrating.
I’ve been a subscriber for going on 3 years. There’s been some good value in those years. It seems like I’m having fewer and fewer good months though. If I owned a Vita and a PS4, I think the value would still be there, but I’m not going to buy those any time soon.

When I first read your numerous posts, I thought you just needed to chill out and see if Sony would sort things out in a few days. After all, many others must be having the same problems. Right? Now I know that either: a) Sony is out to get you, or b) you don’t know what you’re talking about.
You need to contact support again and actually listen to what they tell you. If you don’t like what they say, ask to speak to someone else. But the very idea they sit around all day reading these comments to see if YOU need anything…yeah, THAT’S how it works.

kinda wondering why we never get free themes or avatars? im looking in the ps store in the ps plus category and the newest avatar we got was jan 2013 and the newest theme we got was september 2012
a year for a free theme is kinda uncalled for since uk gets them all the time. its bad enough the games we get are usually 8 bit. i see above it says we got a free theme for this month but why is it not in the ps plus section? im wondering how many themes and avatars ive missed that werent listed in the proper category. god knows its hard enough to navigate through this slow ps store to try to search through all categories. just looking at the ps plus section is enough to make me want to throw my ps3 at the wall

@120 As a fellow Ryū ga Gotoku (Yakuza) i hate to inform you that this will not happen. 5 has the biggest chance of making it here, but as the days go on it becomes painfully obvious that Sega has no intention of bringing it over here. If Sony would fund the localization it could probably happen. I hope I’m wrong though. I haven’t played the HD versions of 1 and 2 but i’ve played 5 and it’s excellent.

I’m sorry to say this but The PSN is losing it these games are not that innovative versus XBL Try this on for size, Ninja The Mark Of Kri!, Etc etc– Sony need’s to give us that demo from “The Last Of Us! Heck I can’t even rent it from anywhere greedy people! I did get the exclusive Assassin’s Creed 4 but on my Xbox360 the day it came out. Now that tells you how greedy people are with PS3- Gee don’t want to know about PS4 because I know you won’t be able to get one until the later part of 2014!

Can we get a Vita firmware update, please? Every so often when I go to download something from the store, it just sits there on “Preparing to Download”
I once gave it 2 hours to ‘prepare’ but I think it was just playing games with my head.

Finally the ps3 has some great apps. Tune in radio is free music and red box is better than netflix. you can stream movies and rent games. I use tune in and redbox on xbox

I know that wanting a preview would sound very anxious but its not just me, there area TON of people. Lot of them want to know beforehand what they´re getting for the next month and NOT just one day before!
PS plus is a service, and every service needs the customer’s feedback to get better. If not…why did they just start putting preview? Because WE wanted it, ps plus EU did it and EVERYONE was happy, do you see anyone complaining about that? NO.
Also compare the replys, EU blog shows that the workers are interested of what we say, meanwhile US blog STOP reading until the SECOND page of almost every article! (and they have a full week to see the other pages!)
Why do we compare? because the other service has benefits that can be implemented here and make it BETTER.

Lol, I just love how they keep ignoring comments complaining about Angry Birds. I’m not a fan of those games, but I feel ya guys on the price. That’s is pretty absurd charging full retail price for a $1 game.

I understand that Playroom is going to be pre-loaded on the PS4, but is it going to be in the Playstation Store?
I am upgrading my PS4 Hard Drive before I even turn it on so I’ll have 1.5TB from the very start, but I’m afraid I’ll lose PlayRoom by doing this. Will I be able to redownload it? An answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Got DmC, Doom 3 BFG Edition, and Fatal Frame 1 and 2. Great update and those prices on those games were too good to pass up. I already had DMC Collection and really wanted DmC so got it. Also with Fatal Frame, never played them before but heard good things so got them. wish the third game was on sale but will probably get it later on. Doom 3 BFG Edition, never played Doom 3 before so got it as well for the expansion and Lost Levels.
