Childish, guys. Childish. I generally come down on the side of Plus being a good deal, but that doesn’t mean I have to agree with everything my supposed “side” says or does. I find Plus to be a good deal; others may not. I just wish more people would offer thoughtful opinions rather than hurling insults at Sony and/or each other.

To that end, I don’t understand what’s wrong with lists. Yes, there are childish and overly entitled brats who feel they should have every game they personally desire given to them for free. Many don’t have to pay for Plus anyway. *coughparentscough* So it really is free for them in that sense.

But otherwise lists are the most constructive form of protest I can think of. If we all let Sony know what we want, they can’t later say we didn’t tell them. Much better than saying “this month/week/whatever sucks.”

Sometimes I think Sony paints itself into a corner with the IGC. I think that’s why we got Ico and SotC separately; they simply didn’t have much else to offer. If companies don’t want to give their games away in the U.S. because they happen to be selling just fine here, what’s Sony to do about it?

I can certainly guess at plausible reasons why the EU appears to get “better” games than we do, though I mostly don’t care. I’m not jealous because, like I’ve said, there are valid economic reasons why Sony can make deals for the same game in one region but not another. That said, it would do Sony a lot of good PR-wise to explain itself. Perhaps even in a series of dedicated Blog posts.

@smoothboarder540: Good for you trying to help, but that guy needs to be added to your list. He quite literally copies & pastes that entire mess into every comment section. His questions have been fully answered. He needs to actually read the responses and stop this nonsense.
