Hello Gamers,
Moments ago, Adam Boyes introduced the latest addition to the Third Party Relations family at Playstation, a new group that I get to captain called Third Party Production. The Third Party Relations team at PlayStation is well known for developing solid relationships across this industry, and this new group will work closely with our publishing partners to bring their beloved IPs to some new places. This means you’ll see even more great games on PlayStation platforms, including new IP’s, ports, and localized products. In addition, our partners who are currently in production will have us as a resource to strengthen their development process, ensuring quality and consistency on all Third Party projects.
I’m really excited for our team to explore new opportunities on behalf of PlayStation. Even though we’re brand new to PlayStation, we’ve got years of experience in this industry already under our belt. We already have a project underway, the recently announced PS Vita version of Borderlands 2. We are extremely excited to work with Iron Galaxy Studios on this project and I cannot wait to show and tell you more down the road.
I will share more with you as our adventures continue and new games are made available. In the meantime, let me know in the comments what you want to see on PlayStation (PS3, PS4, PS Vita). Please, pitch this unoriginal idea to Avalanche Studios: Just Cause 2 Survival. They have this huge open world map, so it’d be nice if it was utilized for something else. In the game, almost all population has been wiped out. You spawn at a random point in the map, with some limited supplies, no grappling hook. You don’t have an access to a map until you find one somewhere. You have to scavenge for food, water, weapons, shelter etc. If you’re lucky, you might find some sort of transportation (bicycle, canoe, a car with limited amount of gas etc). Basically it’d be a DayZ ripoff, but in JC2 map.

So… I would to see these titles/IPs on PS Vita: Final Fantasy Type-0, Valkyria Chronicles 3, Phantasy Star Online 2.
Final Fantasy Type-0 please. It’s absurd that it was never localized. Meanwhile, we’re getting lackluster FF 13 games.
Localizations of other games such as Valkyria Chronicles 3, Yakuza 5, Tales series and The Legend of Heroes would be nice too.
As for an absolute dream game? Well, a Dark Souls game on the Vita would be heaven.

I guess people really do want to see Final Fantasy Type-0 and Valkyria Chronicles 3 localized. I’ll vote on those too. I seen them before, was wondering why they never got a localization.
@noobtiger I don’t know if your in the minority, but people “do” want re-releases on the Vita. Who doesn’t want to play their favorite PS2 and PS3 games on the go? And who cares that it will be downgraded? As long as it plays exactly like the original, it will be fine. Express your disappointment someplace else, like Nintendo’s downgraded 3DS.

Resident evil & GTA on PS Vita
Aside from many of the other games that have been stated in the previous comments, perhaps I should throw in Drakengard 3 as well (even though it’s not released yet), since I’m a huge fan of the series and it would be a pity if Square decided not localize the game. Perhaps you can convince them to localize it themselves, or convince them to give the localization rights to another company if they have no plans to do it?

It would be cool to get Sword Art Online ported from PSP to Vita, then Localized. The Legend of Heroes/Eiyuu Densetsu(already mention, but I’d like to bring it up again) games would be awesome, whichever ones Xseed won’t be doing.
Since people already member quite a few others, that I’m in agreement with I don’t feel like bring them all up again.
Exstetra looks like a good game for Vita.

In 1999, SCEA worked with Naughty Dog (in conjunction with Universal Interactive) to create “Crash Team Racing,” the fourth title in the “Crash Bandicoot” series of games on the original PlayStation. Since its release, CTR has been one of the highest grossing PlayStation titles ever.
It may seem trivial, but I would like to see an online component added to the original game. This could be easily accomplished by assigning a third party developer to provide the code to update the title. This would be a low cost, easily accomplished project. A need for updated graphics isn’t even required — just PlayStation Network multiplayer support.
I recommend taking a look at some of the comments on a recent post on a Reddit gaming thread was about this very idea (http://bit.ly/17pKkdn) — thousands of gamers voiced their support for an online version of Crash Team Racing. This project may seem small, but it is one that would have a big impact on the PlayStation community.
