Hello Gamers,
Moments ago, Adam Boyes introduced the latest addition to the Third Party Relations family at Playstation, a new group that I get to captain called Third Party Production. The Third Party Relations team at PlayStation is well known for developing solid relationships across this industry, and this new group will work closely with our publishing partners to bring their beloved IPs to some new places. This means you’ll see even more great games on PlayStation platforms, including new IP’s, ports, and localized products. In addition, our partners who are currently in production will have us as a resource to strengthen their development process, ensuring quality and consistency on all Third Party projects.
I’m really excited for our team to explore new opportunities on behalf of PlayStation. Even though we’re brand new to PlayStation, we’ve got years of experience in this industry already under our belt. We already have a project underway, the recently announced PS Vita version of Borderlands 2. We are extremely excited to work with Iron Galaxy Studios on this project and I cannot wait to show and tell you more down the road.
I will share more with you as our adventures continue and new games are made available. In the meantime, let me know in the comments what you want to see on PlayStation (PS3, PS4, PS Vita). There are a TON of games that I would love to play on my VITA.
Fact is the PS VITA is a very powerful handheld device with all the control you need from its two analog sticks and the accommodating touch screen to the very intuitive back touch panel.
There are a plethora of PS2 games for example that I want to see revisited for the PS VITA with Okami probably being the best choice what with having the ability to use your finger as the brush as you touch the screen.
Honestly though, speaking in terms of third party games…
Anything J-RPG or Action RPG needs to come to VITA A.S.A.P.
There just isn’t enough there for the VITA and it’s disappointing. (In America at least)
The TALES games (which are available in JAPAN) have already been mentioned so why not get a localization effort going for those games?
Also would like a Diablo-Esque games revealed for the VITA
In fact… I know some people (including myself) were hoping for Diablo 3 to come to the VITA but you know what would be even better? Torchlight 1 and 2!!! Or just one of those at least! Get some kind of relationship going with Runic to bring this beloved action rpg franchise to the Playstation brand.
First person shooters are nice to have on the go. For me personally however, I find handhelds to be better suited for RPG games. There’s something about being able to take your characters with you wherever you go and being able to build upon their stats and gear that just makes the experience so much more enjoyable than having to be locked down in front of a TV or Computer screen.
Story heavy FPS games would be fine on a handheld because there’s real content to be had wherever you go. So a game like Bioshock and Borderlands make perfect sense. But when needing to play multiplayer you’re likely to be at home using your WiFi at which point you might ask yourself “Why am I playing an FPS on a small screen with cramped controls competitively when I can play on my PC or console with a bigger screen and better controls?”
All in all, whatever you guys do I know you’ll do whats in the best interest of your fans.
I am REALLY hoping for some more RPG love though. Also, the more exclusive the better.

Original God of War for Vita, a new Castlevania (or at least LoS: Mirror of Fate HD), a new Ratchet & Clank for Vita or the Future saga/Into the Nexus. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Ep. 1 & 2 along with the classics already available for PS3. We are also eager to see Tekken on PS4.
OH!
And we need a better clone of Mario Kart on Vita… Seriously. I bought a 3DS 2 years ago just for that game.
Modnation and LBP Karting suck.
Sonic Allstar Racing Transformed is alright… but… eh.
Modnation was pretty good on PSP though I thought.
FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0!! This is a game that should have been localized since it was initially released, help us right this wrong Sony! I don’t care if you make it available digitally or physically for either PS3 or PS Vita(or both), just make it available. Getting Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core available on the store for Vita would also be greatly appreciated. But seriously just focus on FF: Type-0; do anything it takes because that game would be a system seller for the Vita.
Oh and I’d like to see Crash Bandicoot and other such PS1 classics playable on my Vita.

I would love to see the Destroy All Humans franchise return. Simple, pure fun. I think that we get a little too involved in immersion and gameplay sometimes and lose sight of the fun aspect. Follow up on that note; Burnout.
Sounds like this group was made to get Tales of Hearts R and Tales of Innocence R for the Vita localized. They really should already be localized. Just going through a few of these pages and seeing all the requests for them… it’s a real shame. But I suppose if you’re going to be doing what you say then you should be able to finally get these two games localized.

I think you guys should contact the Skullgirls team. The support would skyrocket just from it being another Vita fighting game. Also, I think you’ll should look into a PS3 classics deal. Like Folklore, Valkyria Chronicles, and Heavenly Sword. Maybe, even a Starhawk port. Y’know, games that were killed due to bad PS3 press.

These are some of many suggestion hope you can at least do half of them.
Also you can make a deal with bethesda by getting them behind the paywall for EoS onilne if you haven’t let them already.
Oh forgot, bring back Warrior’s Lair it looked so good and was excited by it until I heard it was cancelled.
Did anyone elses vita’s get messed up after the last firmware update? Ever since i got the update mine has been messed up. I can’t change the settings in PS1 games or PSP games anymore and my Music Unlimited changed my music to online only and had to wait until I got home to redownload my playlists. Super annoying! Plus I was about to play Castlevania SOTN but for some reason now I can’t change settings by holding down touchscreen now so I couldn’t play in widescreen. All these problems happened the second I updated. If you haven’t downloaded it, I would wait.
Localization for the West of Final Fantasy Type-0 please!!!!!!
While this game is still in its Kickstarter phase, if it ever gets funded you should definitely look into Mighty No. 9 and help them out in releasing it for PS3, PS4, and Vita! One of the stretch goals is a PS3 version, but the game is tentatively scheduled for 2015 so a PS4/Vita release would be even better.
Made by comcept (Keiji Inafune’s independent studio, makers of Soul Sacrifice), it’s a platforming game inspired by Mega Man with the promise of innovative new content and mechanics. Since they already have experience with the Vita and PS3, they might need more help with PS4.

I think this is awesome! It would be nice to see the upcoming Gran Turismo 6 on the PS4 and Vita systems.
I’d like to see God Eater 2 brought over to the NA. As far as games from Sony go, a new Hot Shot Tennis game would be awesome.
