Hello Gamers,
Moments ago, Adam Boyes introduced the latest addition to the Third Party Relations family at Playstation, a new group that I get to captain called Third Party Production. The Third Party Relations team at PlayStation is well known for developing solid relationships across this industry, and this new group will work closely with our publishing partners to bring their beloved IPs to some new places. This means you’ll see even more great games on PlayStation platforms, including new IP’s, ports, and localized products. In addition, our partners who are currently in production will have us as a resource to strengthen their development process, ensuring quality and consistency on all Third Party projects.
I’m really excited for our team to explore new opportunities on behalf of PlayStation. Even though we’re brand new to PlayStation, we’ve got years of experience in this industry already under our belt. We already have a project underway, the recently announced PS Vita version of Borderlands 2. We are extremely excited to work with Iron Galaxy Studios on this project and I cannot wait to show and tell you more down the road.

I’m here to once again request Final Fantasy Type-0! We’ve waited way too long for that phenomenal system-seller. Of all options Sony has to pursue, none make half the sense this one does.
The Tales games on Vita in Japan would also be most lovely in the west.

This is a great news! I love my VITA, and I’m glad It will finally get some love.
I still can’t understand how come studios are not investing in this plaltform. It hasn’t been hacked, and nobody can play pirate games on it (THANK GOD). What is stopping developers and publishers?

There are SO many great third party games you guys should go after.
Updated versions of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, remastered for the Vita and PS4.
Final Fantasy Type-0 for Vita.
Valkyria Chronicles 1-3 for Vita (as a triple pack, if possible).
Mega Man Legends 3. The fans want it, but Capcom won’t give it to them. Perhaps you guys stepping in will get things moving.
GTA and Bioshock on Vita.
But the biggest “get” of all, one that I think should be made the absolute highest priority because of how huge it would be, is Gears of War. Contrary to popular belief, it is NOT owned by Microsoft. Epic Games kept it 360 exclusive by choice, not by obligation. A Gears Anthology pack with 1-3 and Judgement for PS4 and Vita (active reloads could be achieved by tapping the rear touch screen) would be HUGE. Imagine the crowd reaction at E3 if Kaz Hirai took the stage carrying a full-size Lancer replica. You’d be able to hear the applause on freaking Mars.

I like to see Shenmue 1 and 2 in hd on Playstation 4 and make Shenmue 3 for ps4 and bring crash bandicoot and spyro game like the ps1 crash bandicoot and spyro the dragoon new ones of spyro and crash bandicoot not toys like skylanders

Also I think you should start an Imports section for PS2, PS3, and PSP on the PS Store, for games that couldn’t get localized but at least we still have a chance to play. We have this for PS One games already so it should be open to other platforms as well.
And I know this is too much to ask but is there any way you could bring over Gears of War 1-3 and Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2? My mind would be blown if you did this.

I second the fact that we need an imports section on the psn store. we should be able to buy region free games regardless of their language.

Would love to be able to play Final Fantasy Type-0. There have already been post-vita launch PSP titles that sold very well on the vita digitally. I don’t see why Type-0 would be any different.

I have 2 Vita related requests that I guarantee if done right will make the Vita sell! First we need a Grand Theft Auto game made specifically for the Vita. Second we need to bring some PS2 games to the Vita for perhaps $10-$20 depending on the games. I’d love to play games like Bully and Ratchet and Clank Deadlocked on my Vita!
I don’t believe anything at this point. This era of Sony is ridiculous. You guys make more powerful consoles to run those indie garbage? That’s why 3DS stole all your customers with their AAA 3rd party games.

Let’s just say all of them.
Try pushing Cross Buy on 3rd party publishers more. It’s a great idea for the consumers but it’s so hardly used. I was excited for Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD remakes for PS3 and Vita but when I found out they didn’t use Cross Buy, I just about gave up on the Vita version. It would also help push consumers more towards PS3 when it comes to multiplatform games if they see they would be getting the Vita version of a game for free by buying the PS3 version. Try to help out with localization more too. We still need Final Fantasy Type-0, Hatsune Miku Project Diva f, and some of the Tales games on Vita. More Japanese developed games need to be localized because as of right now, I feel like PlayStation lacks the amount of JRPGs and other games from Japan I enjoyed that were on PS1 and PS2.
Bioshock on Vita would be amazing, even if it’s a port of the older games. This is probably a stretch but the Last of Us on Vita would be a dream come true.
i would love a long adventure rpg or action game. final fantasy…dissidia…kingdom hearts…mass effect….dot hack…monster hunter..ssfae…or the shonen jump allstars game!
I commented earlier that i would like to see yakuza 5 released but i wanted to elaborate on my reason.
Yakuza 5 has been out in japan since dec 2012 but sega has yet to release it in the us and europe when asking sega on the status of the western release i never get a reply from them.The series has a dedicated fanbase on facebook (search yakuzafan) and though it might be small they are very vocal on asking sega about the game also they have setup up a campaign and operation rainfall has a poll going to get sega to localise one of its many sequels currently yakuza 5 is in the lead.i think its only fair since japan has had every yakuza game released that we should have the same it doesn’t have to be right away i can understand localising a game like that takes time so i request if there is anything you can do to either help sega speed up the process or ask them the status on the game would be greatly appreciated.

Vesperia on PS3, and bring back some old IPs please. Legend of Dragoon, Tomba, and MediEvil have been sorely missed.
Vita needs more love with ports of console style games. It has no AAA franchise support like a Skyrim style open world game or a DA:O or Mass Effect 1 style WRPG. It’d be great to get more localized games like Tales of Hearts or Innocence and Gundam Breaker over here.
And give the old school PS2 JRPGs some love with HD ports, those are what made you guys king last go around. Final Fantasy XII, .Hack, Star Ocean, and Dragon Quest would all be amazing in HD.
