I’d love to buy more digital Vita but I can’t let my brother play them on his Vita under his name. Not looking to share with everybody in the world but we can do so with ps3 digital games. Any plans to address this.
I’m surprised to see all the PSP talk on a week when one isn’t part of the Plus lineup.
Anyway, I spent a few hours with Metal Slug XX this week, and am very happy to have it. I think comment 101 said it well — heck, I’m even open to PS 1 games, at the very least, some PS1 discounts. Feels like it’s been a while since they’ve been on sale.
And, on topic, that Max Payne price is great, for a great game.
I think the complaining about PSP games is a little silly, personally. I don’t own a Vita OR a PSP right now – but I’m not going to complain about games for either platform coming out (in fact, I usually start a download of any good ones I see, so if I *DO* get a Vita, I can have a built-in Plus library!).
Can’t the Vita play PSP games? So isn’t each PSP game *ALSO* a Vita game? Yes I can understand being tired of last-generation games being the primary content, and if the only device you own is a Vita I can see some of the frustration. Still, it’s ridiculous to expect the entire Vita library to show up free on Plus – and if the release schedule doesn’t improve, two new Vita Plus games each month would pull in the entire library before long. I’d be more worried about how fast new games are being added for the Vita overall, than about whether you get a Vita or PSP game each month.
Well won’t be getting new game for 3rd straight week. I dont have a PS VIta, I didn’t want that racing game and I forgot what the other one was. Hope next week I can get something for my PS3. Already played Max Payne 3 it was alright, too hyped up.
Nice was wanting to play Dokuro and when was announced free for Plus…I became very happy….also $8.00 for MP3….hoou thats cheap….I bought the retail version some weeks ago….by the videos the game looks good….so for that price is really worth it…very nice sale.
Cant wait to see what we’ll be getting on august.
I was planning on getting Max Payne 3 sometime soon, and now it’s only $10 !! I feel so great I waited for this sale.
@ 101 Mjolnirs – Agree 100%…well said…but you know the damn whiners…they must whine about everything.
@ 152 samv33 – Agree I had lots of fun this week with Metal Slug XX as well…and you’re right we really need some PS1 games back on Plus. And I really appreciate the PSP games on Plus. The whiners should just STFU.
Hey Morgan, do you think we will get more psp titles available to use on the PS Vita on the near future, like MGS Portable Ops? Why there’s so many people complaining about the PSP games on pluss? I hope psp games don’t stop coming, I really like them and I want more of them!
Any chance that the U.S. PS+ will get Okami HD or KoA: Reckoning? EU PS+ got both if them a couple months ago.
Keep up the great work!
Wow!!! Getting Max Payne 3 for sure and waiting for Cloudberry Kingdom! Keep the good work Morgan! And I agree that we need more PS Vita support!!
Point made Morgan.
I have a vita and would love to take advantage of the Disgaea and Persona 3 FES PS3 discounts, for the future when I get a ps3.
Is there a PC storefront similar to media go that let’s me buy ps3 games for my account, without needing a ps3?
PSP games definitely need to stay in the IGC. There are too many great PSP games out there that people have never even experienced. What better way to introduce them than to slap “Free” on the cover. It’s also nice to get digital versions of my favorite PSP games on my Vita. Funny thing, my UMDs won’t fit in my Vita game slot :/
Speaking of PSP games… Ys: Memories of Celceta(Vita) is coming out soon… There are three Ys PSP games currently on PSN. What better way to get people hyped about Ys: Celceta, than to give them a previous Ys title to play. Plus, it can intoduce new fans to the series. Even a discount would be cool.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII on PSN?
Anticipating more news on Lone Survivor, Spelunky and Terraria(Vita).
Last random statement: an NIS sale would be awesome. And an Aksys sale.
PS+ is looking a little better each month, keep up the entertainment ^_^
Already own MP3, but if the season pass is on sale that would be awesome.
Question heard Fatal Frame 2 is coming back on the store, why was it taken off?
Also any chance of Phantasy Star Universe and its addon Ambitions of the Illuminus (or however you spell it) making it as PS2 classics, I know the online servers are off, but id still like to play these again seeing as my PS2 is pretty much dead. Also any chance of Persona 4 being added as a PS2 classic?
@#114 Morgan is right I’m not leaking or have access of any kind to the the poll results, the balance ( @71) is my subjective perception of comments trying to follow this rules about what people say about the titles of that week in the comments
Positive: going to download, play, buy (with discounts) or express any kind of satisfaction with ps+ run or recognizes the benefit for other users.
Negative: nothing for me, disatisfaction with ps+ so far
Neutral: equally positive and negative statements.
Unralated: questions, answers, requesting games, pointing out spelling/pricing errors, unintelligible/unexpressive emoticons or words, tech support.
I did it because the official polls are private and wanted to know if my perception was biased… and it was. I guess the best thing to do is to participate in the poll, I didn’t do it before but found out reading the commentaries… how good is poll participation? I had been visiting this blog for months and didn’t notice the link until I started looking for it after reading the comments. And morgan don’t quit! :P keep up the good work and that thick internet skin.
The polls go a long way, but every month I go back through all the comments and categorize pretty much just like you did. So it’s not just polls, but participating in them does help. For the comments, as mentioned, at the end of the month, I use some statistical sampling so I’m not going through every single comment, but per the general rules of statistical sampling, it ends up resulting in a fairly accurate picture of what people are sayng. Thanks for the support!
Also, poll participation is pretty huge. It’s got a great number of participants, so I’m comfortable using it to relay information to the teams as well since that large of a sample size is good for analysis.
