Those complaining about PSP games appearing are apparently not heeding the rule to the right: “Don’t be a jerk.”
One very important point of the IGC is to offer a variety of games to its subscribers. Things like Machinarium and Oddworld don’t appeal to me but what I’ve so far received from the IGC more than makes up for it. I cannot, will not, and SHOULD not complain because lots of other people do like those sorts. And the fact that a title is a PSP game should not be contention; a game is a game. SOME OF US DIDN’T OWN A PSP and are getting acquainted with its library on PSP.
I appreciate what’s been up for grabs from Plus since the start of the IGC and would not have it any other way.
does anyone know how the online is in max payne 3 ? I can’t decide if I want the ultimate edition or regular one , the only extras are for online so if the online is dead or just plain sucks there would be no reason to spend the extra cash on online maps I’d never use .
reply here or message my psn if you have any input that will be of help in this decision .
definitely pumped for monsters on the go again , since I sold my psp and games to get the psvita I miss playing some of that sweet pixeljunk monsters tower defense when I’m out and have to play the ps3 version only . online co-op will make the vita game so much better
Hmm… I already own Dokuro. Getting a little tired of games like this and Knytt Underground coming to the collection, but I suppose a lot of that’s just that I already have them. Could we please get a full retail Vita title? Metal Gear Solid 2 or 3, maybe? Also, any chance we could get more Classics or at least discounts on them?
Oh , | forgot to put in my two cents for what is needed in a plus update at some point soon , I think we need a dlc sale instead of just games
put dlc for games we get free in the igc on sale a few weeks later or the next month , I sucks to get a free game and then find the dlc is another $10 , $20 or $30 more and either have to miss the dlc or pay way too much for dlc for an old game , some of those add-ons cost more than the game itself now and that is just too bad
talk to the developers you get the igc games from and suggest that they can make money on a dlc sale right after the game comes to the igc , profits are profits right ? selling 10,000 copies of a dlc bundle to plus members at a discount is better than 500 add-on sales to plus members who got the game free at full price
I think some PSP games play very well on my Vita, like Hot Shot Tennis: Get a Grip, and I don’t have a PSP. Amazing game, btw. If you like tennis games, you should give it a try.
However, I wish there were more special games on the Vita. To be honest, I’m having fun with some of the games available. However, even though the library has been increasing with time, I’m still waiting for more amazing games like Gacamelee, Stardust Delta, Plants vs. Zombies, Dokuro and Gravity Rush.
FYI Sony, it’s not really a sale if you’re just lowering the price of a game to temporarily match what you have to pay in Retail. Although for a game like max payne, I haven’t seen it in person for over 5.88 in a long long time.
Another PSN game/not a full/real PS3 game for the BBRC… no thanks.
Guess I’ll go see what completely free, non-rental game, Xbox is giving us this week. They may give old mediocre games, but so does Plus, only xbox you can keep the games forever and there’s no extra fees for them.
meh shoulda typed full vita game instead of full ps3 but the point stands.
I am a proud PS+ member, but I have a question. It is not a complaint per se, but a question. Why does EU PS+ always seem to give a week or two notice on their upcoming lineup and USA waits until the last minute. For example, EU PS+ has known for 2 weeks what will be coming in August (NFS, MAFIA 2 wish we could get those games). Here we are on the 29th day and we are told we will be updated next week. It would be nice to know a little in advance. I have bought older games on sale or at clearance and then a week or two later the same games come out on plus. I could have saved some money if I had a little notice. Again this is not a complaint per se, but a question. I hope that I can get an answer to this. Thanks.
Hmm having read through and seeing all the complaints I guess I ‘ll echo what most of us think.
NO MORE PSP GAMES!!!!
Although if you start doing GOOD PSP games that might change.
Tons of us have been begging for RPGs in the IGC for over a year.
PSP has a ton of RPGs…
But if you’re not giving us good games, at least stop giving us old games for an obsolete system.
Hey Morgan thanks for the awesome update Dokuro looks good! My question is regarding a comment you left earlier stating that there are various reasons to keep some games on the IGC longer(Uncharted 3, X:COM: Enemy Unknown and Little Big Planet Karting… great games btw)So i’ve always been curious, do you guys ever you the IGC as an advertising tool to get to buy the sequels to these games?
SPECULATION: “Pretend” that Sony/Naughty Dog is in development of Uncharted 4(i’m not at all saying this is true i’m just speculating.) Anyway does putting Uncharted 3 on the IGC help advertise for that game? Thanks…
And if for whatever reason you can’t answer this question can expose some of these various reasons? Thanks! Cheers!
If it works out, then yeah, it can work that way in some regard, but it takes a lot of planets aligning to make that happen. But sometimes it just does; for example, people can snag Saints Row 3, and there’s the upcoming Saints Row 4 coming. But in terms of coordinate advertising which calls that out, that’s a fine idea!
