Not fair EU gets BF3 and Unit 13 …….
All those PS3 digital games that I have so far is what I’ve been wanting to have before. It’s like you guys know what I’m thinking. I know I posted before here but I gotta say, I’ve been one of those early PS+ subscribers and I think it’s going great ever since. I just miss the free avatars and dynamic themes. Can we have more free holiday/season dynamic themes for free? What happened to free PSone Classics? How about free PS2 classics? I’m sure a lot of people would like that. I’m really happy that BF3 is will be free. I’ve been wanting that game for a very long time and like I said before, I want to play that Caspian Border map.
I can’t believe that I almost forgot about the Summer sales and there is one game I want to get for 4 bucks which is Alice: Madness Returns. I was so hooked on it when I tried it out as a free trial. I gotta find a way to get advantage over the sale. Truly is a fun game for me. I already can’t wait what’s in store for us in August. Sometimes it’s a let down but hey, thanks for these great games!

I brought my Vita to play Vita games not PSP titles. You think this $50 memory is for that.
Finally BF3 is free and here!
Now I’m not the target audience for BF3 but even I know how big of a game that is. It might not be for me, but I’ll probably still get a little play time out of it since my friends will be playing it and regardless of that it’s one of those top games lots of other people have wanted.
What I am excited for, though, is getting Jet Set Radio on my PS3 finally as well as Munch’s Oddysee HD. Oh, and that Summer Sale is sweet too. I’ve been meaning to grab a digital copy of Arkham Asylum for some time now. Looks like I just found the perfect excuse to do so. $5 is simply WAY too good of a price to pass up. Definitely shaping up to be an awesome month of Plus.
BATTLEFIELD 3?!?! Man you guys have REALLY delivered this month!!!! I own this game already but I’m really happy to know that all my PS Plus friends will have it now too :) a PS Plus discount for BF3 Premium would be MUCH appreciated though and would probably see a lot of sales! Again, I already own it as well but it would be nice to see more people with the DLC and a sale on Premium would go a LONG way to making this happen :)

Really late, but you forgot to mention The Walking Dead: 400 Days. It is coming today.
It would be nice if the PSN Store had a better Downloaded games queue, so that you can better sort out the Games you own through the Instant Game Collection, that way it would be easier to install and uninstall or reinstall Games at will to make room on the hard drive when you start to get low.
I had all the consoles but I just stick with the ps3. every day you show me that good decision I ever made! Thanks Sony!

That is a nice update there. Nice to see your giving your ps+ subscribers the same thing as EU. However.. You both (U.S and EU) need to stop doing big popular games. First Uncharted and now this. I know many people are glad to get this and it is after all an amazing game and great to share it with those that never played it before, but putting in bf3 is like throwing in CoD. It was a big game so surely most people already have it or even played it therefore its a waste for most.
Try putting on games that don’t sell so well so that there is something for more than 50% of the people. Many people here on the blog may not have played it before, but that doesn’t mean most of the people haven’t as there are still a lot of people out there that don’t even read the blog and they DO have them

@378 don’t you mean an “online pass” not “season pass” to play online mp. You may not know but BF3 online pass has been free for anyone for 2 months now so yes you will be able to play online mp. lol imagine if they gave us the season pass, too bad Sony doesn’t mix up the two and give us the season pass instead of the online pass (why can’t you be as naive as your customers Sony and make a mistake like that?)

Woo Hoo Oddworld, I remember playing this way back in college and thinking it was the coolest game. A couple years ago a friend of mine talked me into MW2, was the only way I’d play it, was OK. Only way I’d play BF3 is another I’ll only play since its free, but I must say I’m actually looking forward to it.
I really really want to buy a Vita, and seeing Dokuro on here makes me want to buy one even more, but I’m currently in China and won’t be back to the US for a couple more months, and the regional issues with repairs are keeping me from buying one. Seeing this game on here is really tearing me up though, I really would like to buy a Vita and play it.

I really don’t the vita has any AAA games to offer, Uncharted is probably the closest thing to a AAA game on the VIta maybe metal gear solid or mortal kombat. I had a vita and gave it away to my little cousin because I did not like any games on it except for Tomas was Alone, and Puddle.
this is so dissapointing for vita users, only 1 vita game and an super old psp game. i want reatail and native vita game not these psp games, dokuro is good, even metal slug is ggood but i really want my native vita games with trophies. i am switching to EU ps plus once it ends, NA ps plus so so bad for vita users. it is so meh…
to everyone complaining that “BF3 is a big AAA title and most people already own it so it is a bad free game”. That is a weak argument considering any big AAA game will come with the same problem, so what do you want ……… all indie games? Do you want AAA games that nobody bought the likes of the vaunted “Haze” or perhaps the dreadful Lair even or maybe you want the woeful Ninja Gaiden 3 these are all big titles that nobody bought so chances are you and most others don’t own them. This happens to us all when Sony gives good games many of the people will already own them but more than half of the people won’t ! I already owned the AMAZING Deus EX HR and Infamous2, the underrated Spec ops TL, LBP2, Golden Abyss, and so on and so on. What it does enable you to do however is go sell your hard copy (your disk) because you obviously will have the digital version so you really can’t lose unless you platinumed the game and already sold it prior to it coming out on IGC (in that case you llikely loved the game so if you are any kind of decent person be happy for the people who have never played it). Sony picks IGC games to appeal to the whole spectrum of customers not just you.

what are you waiting for, just buy an EU plus account, I have both and will keep both, I am only disappointing when they are too much alike, like July and June, although the first part EU got a lot for June. the more you wait the more you miss unless you don’t like anything EU has this month, but still you will loose all your NA games when your NA account expires

What time do these updates usually go live? And is Unit 13 still on the list for vita?
If one week the games don’t suit your taste than surely the next offering may appease you but if not don’t complain it makes you sound egocentric thinking Sony is only out to please YOU alone. This is a great service & I don’t always agree with the offerings but as a whole ps plus is the best service out there. Period. – Also, Morgan does a great job I mean how much flack does he get and when has he ever been rude or condescending? Never. Unlike most Morgy actually answers & responds to us which is refreshing (meaning he & Sony actually listen to what we say…. can you say that about those 2bit green guys with that other system “i think it’s called the sexbox 180 ) Morgan does not single handedly pick the games he may have a slight bit of influence on it if ANY at all so don’t completely shred him when you are unhappy instead give constructive critiques on why you are unhappy otherwise Sony can’t do a thing to remedy your ills if they don’t know what they are.
Solid update even if I do own most of the freebies already. Looking forward to trying Dokuro and Metal Slug XX at least. As for the discounts, I will likely pick up Mortal Kombat for my Vita…own the rest or not interested in the remaining titles.

What is this I keep hearing about Alice Madness returns being 4$. I don’t see it in the future sales ? Yet i’ve heard at least two people mention it, if anybody has any info pass it on my gf is dying to play it (I would check it out also due to the unique art style and dreary interesting subject matter.) that game looks twisted and the trial distinguished it from other games, for my taste it is nice to see something a little different from the norm “something edgy”.

Alice is on sale next week (July 9th) for 4.00. It’s part of the Summer Sale. It’s a very fun game. You and your GF will both love it!

@435 You can get Red Faction Armageddon “Brand New” at Gamestop for 5.99, again not used but brand new I snatched it up a couple months ago and last time I was at gamestop (which is every couple days) it was still the same price. It isn’t a great game but it is well worth that price for sure and virtually EVERYTHING is destructible but play it on its hardest setting otherwise it’s a cakewalk. Oh and it has mechs and the magnet gun is brilliant. Sorry if it sounds like i’m pumping up a mediocre game but it does have a LEGENDARY easter egg (MR. TOOTS!!)
The store usually updates between 3-5 p.m. Eastern time. Sometimes a little earlier, sometimes later. There is no set time.

Well I’ll certainly be downloadin Battlefield 3. Thought about getting it but didn’t cause there were too many games at the time. Now I’ve not bought many games recently and just living off my PS+ subscription games, and the offerings couldn’t be greater :D Still playing Saints Row and Vanquish but now I can join a few of my friends and cousins in BF3.
Only question now tho, if I download the full game trial, would it be the same as the full title later right? So could I get a jump on the download before the store update?

It’s the regular version, but the season pass is free on the store which gets you the original PC version of the game which has trophies. Also the dresses adds more with different abilities. I really enjoyed the game!
