With E3 right around the corner, everyone here at PlayStation is putting the final touches on what’s sure to be an exciting event for gamers everywhere. Among other things, we’re excited to see PlayStation Plus continue to evolve, and we’re happy to announce the inclusion of three new PS3 Full Games.
With next week’s PlayStation Store update, we’ll welcome UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and LittleBigPlanet: Karting into the Instant Game Collection!
As many of you keenly observed in Monday’s PlayStation Plus blog post, three PS3 Full Games – LittleBigPlanet 2, inFAMOUS 2, and Ratchet & Clank All 4 One – have only four days left in the Instant Game Collection. This means that it’s your last chance to download these great titles as they’ll be stepping down after a year of faithful PS Plus service.
June 11th PlayStation Plus Update
UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception (PS3) Single Player and Free to Play Multiplayer Bundle
PSN Price: This item is only Free for PS Plus members

XCOM: Enemy Unknown (PS3)
PSN Price: $39.99, Free for PS Plus members

LittleBigPlanet Karting (PS3)

You’ll find all the content detailed above with their Plus benefits active when the PlayStation Store updates on Tuesday; along with additional Plus content that was announced as part of the June preview, and special discounts as well.
Speaking of the June preview, with all this PS Plus content, this month is shaping up to be one of the best PlayStation Plus months yet. UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception (PS3), XCOM: Enemy Unknown (PS3), and LittleBigPlanet: Karting (PS3) are all dropping next week, joining Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PS3) which joined PS Plus last week. You’ll still have Machinarium (PS3), Saints Row The Third (PS3), Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward (PS Vita), and God Eater Burst (PSP, PS Vita compatible), all coming in June as well! It’s never been a better time to join up.
We’ve got more to come next week, so again, make sure you watch for all the PlayStation announcements to come at E3. In fact, you can watch Monday’s press conference right here on PlayStation.Blog. In the meantime, if you’ve got feedback or thoughts on this special PS Plus update, leave them below, or, if you’re looking to engage with more of the PS community, make sure you head over to the PlayStation Community Forums to discuss this week’s news more, find other topics to contribute your thoughts to, or start one for yourself. See you in the comments!
I hate to say it, but I’m kinda disappointed… Uncharted 3 is basically a half game, since the multiplayer has gone free… Little Big Planet Karting… Meh…
I’m really happy about X-COM though. Will be getting it as soon as I can.
At least the line up is overall varied, so props on that, but huge amounts of “Meh” overall.
This is why PlayStation rocks. Plus makes Xbox Live look so useless.
Saints Row, Virtue’s Last Reward, LBP: Karting, Machinarium, and God Eater. I’m giving a big George Takei style ‘Oh myyy’
I really can’t wait. So happy to see so many new choices. How can I play The Last of Us with all of these…:D
This is amazing. I can’t believe Gods Eater and Virtue are here! To quote the Doctor, “has someone been peeking at my Christmas list?” Looking forward to Xcom and LBPK as well (already own the others). You guys are killing it this year. It just gets better and better. Keep it up!

UC3 is 45GB, but you need 90 GB to install it initially, the PS3 installs from the download, and then once fully installed, the dowload is deleted. So, unfortunately, yes you will need 90GB available, but once it’s installed and running, it will only take up 45GB of space.
Morgan. Welcome back from your vacation. I hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks for the Plus update. I already own UC3 and LBP:K so a little bummed about the repeats for me but it’s a good value for others.
I have to add to the feedback of adding more non-M rated games. As an adult with 2 kids, I have to be very selective as to the M rated games I can play since I can only play them at night. It creates a serious backlog let me tell you. I think having a balance of M with non-M would be a huge value.
Just my 2 cents. Who knows, maybe Plus can consider different tracks of plus focused on the types of experiences. I don’t know, just random rambling.
Oh and more RPGs :) Had to throw that in there.
Thanks for all you do. Look forward to E3
you guys have to change Xcom, that is not a ps3 exclusive game, you have a lot exclusive games that could be much better choice than Xcom and LBP Karting.
How much is ps plus again? Wow so much content, so cheeeaaaaaappppp!!!!
I paid the same amount on other console just to play online, in psn I get games and more games
You guys are really making me want the ps 4 day one
I’m glad I only rented Xcom, I felt this coming.
More games for Vita please. At least one. ONE!
@254 if that’s true I won’t be able to download it, I only have a 80GB ps3 and 14 gigs are gone because of a bad sector and most of the rest is taken up by games (granted I could get that back if I really had to) but I thought the normal one was smaller and the ultimate edition was the one that is so big…
what if we already platinumed UC3 and played some MP (probably over whatever level cap is on the free-to-play)
do we still have to pay to unlock MP? and then also pay for the DLC to obtain other trophies?
Last week i said uncharted 3 was going to be included because of its Playstation exclusivity.
Im happy because I don’t own Uncharted 3, Xcom or LittleBigPlanet: Karting
Who knows, maybe on E3 wi will see more games get added. That would be awesome.
Again here is my list of games I would like to see in the IGC
1) Red Dead Redemption Goty
2) Hitman – Absolution
3) DmC
4) Max Payne 3
5) Darksiders 2
6) Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
7) ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection
8) Batman Arkham City
9) Mass Effect Trilogy
10) Grand Theft Auto 4 complete
11) Psychonauts
12) Limbo
13) L.A. Noire
14) Beyond Good and Evil HD
15) Dark Souls
16) Metal Gear Solid HD collection
I must ask for something….please bring back free themes and free PS1 games. Also it would be an amazing thing to give some PS2 free games as well.
Awesome Plus Update,I cant wait for E3 to start.
Bought LBPK when it was discounted a short while back and of course already had Uncharted (best series ever) but picking up XCOM will be awesome. Thanks for the great update, LOVE LOVE LOVE PS Plus
Will EU be getting different stuff ?
@Morgan I saw your comment to #47 and for him and myself there is no value in anything this month, the games that were added 1 was just on sale which is ridiculous that right after you take everyones money you throw the game up for free, another game was on sale for $10 about a month or 2 ago, and the 3rd game is such a niche title that I would think that about 60% of the PS population has either played it or wont ever consider it. Deus Ex has been discounted numerous times and was already free in the EU then there is Saints Row the 3rd which is the only title I have even the slightest interest in and that is only because its “free”.
I really do appreciate the service that PS+ offers but I cant justify giving you money if each and every month goes by without me taking advantage of anything. Im not one of those people who will play something they have no interest in just because its free.
Side Note Bring Back Kevin Butler @ E3
Wish i had enough GB for playing U3 on my console, 80 GB its impossible :((((
I’m actually most excited about LBP Carting. This update is amazing though.
@267 add a 500 GB HDD. its easy i did it on both my ps3s
Welcome back, Morgan.
OMG THANKS YOU
@266 I think X-com Enemy Unknown is a game that most people will like it if they try it and even if they wouldn’t considering buying it they will probably try it if they get it for free.
nice surprise addition.. I own both UC3 and Xcom but sadly I haven’t played either yet. Downloaded Deus Ex and waiting for Saints Row 3 and Machinarium
I was hoping for shadow/ico combo, but this is great too. I will get all six ps3 games cuz they all sound great. I played machinariun on ipad but I will get it again on ps3 for throphies. Also like lbpk, would have prefered all stars battle but hey, great stuff for a month, with the last of us coming, I think I have too many games now.
I’m an IDIOT. I’ve been a Plus member since day 1, but bought and played XCOM, Saint’s Row, and Deus Ex on my 360. NEVER AGAIN! Playstation Plus forever, and PS4 only next gen.
alittle disappointed with LBP Karting. i have no interest in that game. I hope we get Saints Row 3 tuesday though and not that boring Machinarium game.
And what happened to Ork Attack for Vita? Why was it replaced by a lame psp game? Why not replace it with a vita game?
I’ve been dying to play XCOM, this is an awesome surprise, add the Last of Us and Saints Row The Third later this month and I will have my hands full with great titles.
I agree with #263!!!!
+ Morgan Haro I would like your honest opinion. How would you feel about the idea of if Sid and the great company behind Xcom enemy unknown took all those mechanics and game play features that were in the game and used them in a new game. The new game being in the DC or marvel universe. Keep all the physical aspects of the game like strategy element and ability to hire and customize new units. Instead of humans vs aliens tho it was super heroes vs. super villians. You could make new heroes or use existing ones and be able to loose any of them at anytime. I think it would have a deeper impact if ya lost your new custom hero or childhood comic hero growing up. Also in comics they are always killing off heroes and replacing them with new people all the time so I think it could work.
would love it. x-men sounds like it would be an awesome fit for that type of thing.
