With E3 right around the corner, everyone here at PlayStation is putting the final touches on what’s sure to be an exciting event for gamers everywhere. Among other things, we’re excited to see PlayStation Plus continue to evolve, and we’re happy to announce the inclusion of three new PS3 Full Games.
With next week’s PlayStation Store update, we’ll welcome UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and LittleBigPlanet: Karting into the Instant Game Collection!
As many of you keenly observed in Monday’s PlayStation Plus blog post, three PS3 Full Games – LittleBigPlanet 2, inFAMOUS 2, and Ratchet & Clank All 4 One – have only four days left in the Instant Game Collection. This means that it’s your last chance to download these great titles as they’ll be stepping down after a year of faithful PS Plus service.
June 11th PlayStation Plus Update
UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception (PS3) Single Player and Free to Play Multiplayer Bundle
PSN Price: This item is only Free for PS Plus members

XCOM: Enemy Unknown (PS3)

LittleBigPlanet Karting (PS3)

You’ll find all the content detailed above with their Plus benefits active when the PlayStation Store updates on Tuesday; along with additional Plus content that was announced as part of the June preview, and special discounts as well.
Speaking of the June preview, with all this PS Plus content, this month is shaping up to be one of the best PlayStation Plus months yet. UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception (PS3), XCOM: Enemy Unknown (PS3), and LittleBigPlanet: Karting (PS3) are all dropping next week, joining Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PS3) which joined PS Plus last week. You’ll still have Machinarium (PS3), Saints Row The Third (PS3), Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward (PS Vita), and God Eater Burst (PSP, PS Vita compatible), all coming in June as well! It’s never been a better time to join up.
We’ve got more to come next week, so again, make sure you watch for all the PlayStation announcements to come at E3. In fact, you can watch Monday’s press conference right here on PlayStation.Blog. In the meantime, if you’ve got feedback or thoughts on this special PS Plus update, leave them below, or, if you’re looking to engage with more of the PS community, make sure you head over to the PlayStation Community Forums to discuss this week’s news more, find other topics to contribute your thoughts to, or start one for yourself. See you in the comments!
Will the Uncharted 3 multi be level caped like the free version is now?
I think there may be something else to come for PS+.
Why announce now when you could easily do it during E3 and have that one more bullet in your gun??
More slots added?
So many complaints though. Give somebody a inch, they demand a mile…
My only complaint is that I don’t have enough time to play the PS Plus games I have gotten for free with my PS Plus subscription in addition to all the incredible discounts every month. Heck….I’m still enjoying Sleeping Dogs from last month (what a great game). People need to stop complaining if they don’t like 100% of the games they are getting for free. Heck, I only play about 20% of them and I couldn’t be more satisfied.
@152
They say Sony won’t be on E3

I am extremely unhappy with how PS+ is handling my subscription. A Vita game should never replace a PS3 game. I’m a proud PS3 owner since the original release of the 60GB model. I’m a PS+ subscriber since December 2010 and am shocked to see how Vita games are shifting from being an addition to the PS+ service to now being a replacement to PS3 games. This is NOT FAIR. This is NOT what was promised to me as a PS+ subscriber.”
I’m an idiot, because all this time I’ve thought LBP Karting was a Vita game. Sorry about that! But please don’t ever replace a PS3 game with a Vita game. That way everyone will feel they’re getting what they were promised by subscribing to PS+
Sony is doing a big favor to me by releasing all the games in the PS Store. Since I have a 1 TB HDD, space won’t be a problem for me anymore. Can’t wait for Last of Us next week :)
wow really…. why take it off the E3 presentation out of no where…. lol
maybe Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy versus XIII *cough* 15 is too big and it needs more screen time …. yeah that must be it lol ….
Thanks for God Eater Burst :) ….Uncharted 3 should have been the full package not just the free to play part…. cuz you know…. thats free already to everyone…. lol
@ #156 jelly_bean…. it will eventually be a problem for you lol …. i have 1 TB as well and only have 180 something space left…. and almost a year left of plus…. eventually im gonna have to start deleting games….
It’s a great week for games for me. Picking up The Last of Us on next Friday and now Xcom.
Any more stuff coming to Vita this month?
I was expecting something better for the E3 (Dragon Dogma, Batman AC, Hitman), already own most of the new line up (DE:HR, U3, LBPK), it’s a decent updated but far from great. Thxs anyway and glad to see you improved each month.
Whoa! Really impressive!
Still upset that we are losing a full vita title for a 2plus year old psp title. I understand that orc attack isn’t ready for release yet. I love this service but please next time find a vita title to swap out with another vita title. I gave away my psp within 2 years of owning, because I didn’t like it and didn’t play it. I love my vita and I love the games, controls, everything about it.
Whattt.. another plus update on a friday ? is this due to e3 or something ? anyways i got little big planet karting for 10 bucks. was very underwhelming. still good for 10 though.
It’s a shame…. I already own those games. Dx why don’t you give more VITA games, not psp..
This is a very pleasant surprise. Fantastic update! PS Plus continues to prove its worth.
This is really amazing. I’m so hyped for E3. I have almost all those games but I really appreciate Sony adding them to this list. Playstation, you have my heart.
Time to buy an external hard drive.
my plus recently ran out. I’m going to have to renew it really soon! ive been wanting to try out xcom. im also gald that virtues last reward and god eater are coming to the vita, sweet. are these games coming to both NA and EU?
Deus Ex is great. And want to try Virtue’s Last Rewards, any feedback on this one guys?
Amazing update, can’t wait for next week.
Morgan, any chance we’ll get SR3 DLC at a discount? I’m sure many “Plusers” will jump at the chance to buy it at 50 or even 25% off.
@carlpain I don’t think you can play games off an external hard drive. Swapping out the internal is pretty cheap and easy. I got a 750 gb haven’t looked back
O_O all I can say is….I love you guys…I’ve been dying to play an Uncharted game. besides Golden Abyss (wonderful game btw.) , I just kinda hare to start with the third one, but I will take that over nothing, I also look forward to the other additions as well.
Whoever is in charge of locking down these deals deserves a raise. This is incredible!!!
welcome back morgan, we miss you bro!! not happy with the update but something is something o algo es algo like we said in my country, i was hoping to see some update for Vita too and some discount but what we gonna do.
Surely we must be getting some awesome-tastic content in addition to all this with E3 next week right? I mean, it’s the one year anniversary of the IGC. *crosses fingers*
AMAZING UPDATE,
My brother’s acc will be my mine…LOL
Very nice Sony !!!
OMG this is awesome I was thinkin on uncharted 3, and i was curios about xocom
BTW i guess this 3 games will be replacing the 3 games fron the past e3
Lookin’ forward to playin God’s eater Burst with some buddies.. and excited that I will now have All Uncharted games ready to be played… cause I haven’t played a single one. :))
Xcom looks fun too! Gonna be a great month for my Vita/PS3.
Borderlands, Spec Ops The Line, and Sleeping Dogs weren’t the types of games I normally play and thus weren’t on my radar until they were in the IGC, but I thoroughly enjoyed all of them. I hope the same holds true for XCOM!
I recently bought Deus Ex and LBP Karting in earlier sales for Plus members knowing full well the likelihood they would show up as free some day, so I can’t be unhappy there. And really no surprise about an Uncharted game finally showing up in the IGC. (I’ve bought all of them at release.)
Yes it would be nice if a game still on my wish list showed up this month in the IGC. But I can’t dispute the quality of these offerings. Deus Ex is quite simply one of my all time favorites.
Amazing just amazing thank you Sony
I am PS4
I hope they’ll make Machinarium cross-buy and cross-save with the Vita. I’d prefer to play it on the hand-held platform most of the time.
First off this update looks great but my questions are 1. is there more ps plus surprises and news coming at E3 press conference or is this all of it? and also 2. I believe we were given the ps3 copy of limbo back last year although i could be wrong on that. If we were given it my question is now that its cross buy how do we get a free copy of the ps vita copy thats now out?
Kinda disappointing….the only game there for me is XCOM and I thank you so much Sony for giving me another game that I didn’t wanted to buy but I was looking forward to try it out….but UC3 and LBPK those are beyond awesome games and everybody should have them by now including me.Anyway thanks for XCOM the update wasn’t disappointing at all.
Great update, guys! Looking forward to trying out Saints Row 3 and Zero’s Last Revenge. I played 999 on the DS and didn’t care for it much, but I’m hoping that the bigger screen and higher rez of the VITA will really make Zero’s Last Revenge pop.
Question: Will the main 3 games(Wipeout 2048, Gravity Rush, Uncharted: Golden Abyss) in the IGC for Vita will be replace soon?
Hi, Morgan, welcome back! Hope you are well-rested, grew more thick skin to handle the eternal complainers, and are as excited about E3 as us. Will you be on camera? I’m going to try to watch all of the streaming this year.
PSPlus is a ridiculous value. I don’t know of anything even masquerading as a weak replica to this program. It will be interesting to see if/how the program expands to the PS4. Of course it can’t include games, since there will be so few games on the new console, but maybe discounts, the return of Plus themes and avatars, expanded cloud storage and eventually, discounts on the Gakkai versions of retooled PS3 games? The future looks really bright for the Playstation Nation.
Thanks Lisa! Yes I’m definitely well rested, and the vacation was wonderful. Definitely excited for E3, but probably won’t be on camera since I’ll be doing more of the booth stuff and juming around to meetings, but who knows; it’s going to be a crazy show with everyone running around like crazy.
As far as the future of Plus, stay tuned!
