I hope you’re ready for Soul Sacrifice — the demo will be available this afternoon on PSN!
Your first reaction to the demo might be, “Holy moly, this is a LOT of demo!” …And you’d be right! The entire first chapter of the full game is included, all of which is playable with up to three other friends via online or ad-hoc multiplayer. Inafune-san made it a special point for the demo to be quite substantial, as you can read in his comments below:
Soul Sacrifice is a long adventure, with dozens of hours of gameplay. The demo is not only a great way to sample the full experience, but also to let you get a head start on that adventure before the game releases. To that end — this part is important, pay attention! — the save data will carry over to the full game! Not only that, if you do carry over demo save data to the full game, you will receive an exclusive bonus item: “Spirits’ Heart”! It summons a powerful stone golem that will fight for you!
Trying the demo and carrying over your save data is the ONLY way to get “Spirits’ Heart,” so why not give it a shot if you’re already interested in the game?
The Soul Sacrifice demo offers a single player mode AND a multi-player mode. Multi-player can be played via both ad-hoc and online, but please be aware that multi-player and all online features for the demo will be terminated and will no longer be available on April 30th, 2013. After this date, you will still be able to play the demo offline and ad-hoc. Of course, that’s not a problem, since you’ll all be picking up the full game when it launches on April 30th, right? *wink*
Don’t forget to pre-order! Not only do you get three exclusive Magic Offerings and two exclusive costumes, but you’ll also get the Japanese voice-over audio pack for free!

This is the biggest B.S. the world has ever seen. Jerking us around with no demo,no PS Plus update.They keep teasing us like their gonna update any minute now,but they keep yanking my chain… They need to give us Bioshock Infinite for free to make up for this!
Way to drop the ball, like usual, Sony. I will not be purchasing a PS4. Not only do all these problems solidify that, but also your lack of good turn based JRPGs and lack of good JRPGs in general this gen. You have disappointed me greatly the past several years.
The PS and PS2 were great and the PS3 sucks ***. You guys aren’t even able to implement alphabetical sorting of our games, so when I go to play a game, I can’t find it out of the 100+ things I have downloaded since I can only sort by creation date and last played. So, what the hell are you guys doing? What is wrong with your PSN staff? Why don’t you fire the ones who don’t know what the hell they’re doing so things like this do not end up happening again?

Geez, still no demo for like the biggest vita game this year. They dont care about the vita owners at all. All hype from them, and no action, just like alot of things they hyped for the vita.
I guess teh part about your progress carrying over is true tho, because you will make no progress on a non existent demo.
I have never seen a company talk and hype stuff so much and then fail so miserably to deliver stuff on time over and over again than sony has. I just found out about the demo yesterday and was excited, why even put up a fancy blog if the demo isnt going up? Ohhhhhh, thats right. Sony’s motto is overhype first, possibly deliver later.
Ohh and stream ps4 games to our vita, haahhahaha sure. Just like how great the ps3 remote play turned out, still waiting for that killzone on vita they showed off before launch and that hackers can use. Obvious the low sales of vita has changed their pre launch stance of giving two craps about the VITA.
