  • First positive:

Demons Souls is really cool. Did´n t buy it because of the Difficulty you hear everybody talk about. But for free I´ll try.

Labyrinth Legends looks kinda fun. Would have loved to see it on the Vita but I know it´s not up to you when they didn´t develope a PSVita Version yet. Hopefully that changes if the game is as good as it looks.

Zombie Tycoon 2 looking forward to it. Hope it doesn´t disappoint. Was waiting for Rocketbirds or Resistance Burning Skies for IGC. By the way make a decent discount on Resistance Vita and I´ll buy it for maybe 15 bucks let´s say.

    Then negative:
Malicious. I already have it liked it very much in the beginning but after the third level i deleted it without playing through because it´s kinda hard and get´s to boring to go on. Don´t have time to waste on a medium game.

Soul Calibur for free is fine but why should I play a PSP game on Vita ? Graphics are outdated and the buttons get killed by the arcade games. PS3 you just change controller. But portable when buttons are in bad shape how to replace that ?

  • not a really good update, i was hoping for a much more recent game a year or 2 ago released games, but what the heck, thanks anyways..

  • I was also looking forward for Okami HD. Disappointed.

  • As soon as the announced Demon’s Souls was available on PSN, I had a feeling that it was going to be offered in the instant games collection eventually. Glad I didn’t buy it! Been playing a lot of Dark Souls and was looking forward to getting back into Demon’s Souls after having not played it for a couple of years.

  • dammit, just bought the last 3 eps of TWD last month.

also, kinda a crappy April for ps+ members. i’ve only ever heard of demons souls, the other games…i had no idea they even existed.

who knows if i’ll actually get any of them.

well i guess it’s good it sucks. it’s almost spring…i’ll be outside doing lots of house/yard work, so i wont have much gaming time anyway.

  • While I would like to play demons souls, I don’t actually own a PS3. I only have a Vita, which is why I would prefer to see a little more coming for Vita in these plus releases. For all I know I may enjoy that zombie game, but it’s still a $10 psn game, and I’m curious as to why it’s going free for plus on the day it is released. A retail game would be nice, though I’m still working on Disgaea 3 from last month, so I guess I don’t have to see a new good game every month, but it would be nice

As far as the PSP games go, would it be possible to see more PSP, and maybe PSone games released at once? Considering that many of these games are already dated, it would be good to have more than one released at once to increase the odds that there might be something for everyone. I mean, if you aren’t into fighting games, or at least not into them enough to want older ones, this month and last are both a little disappointing in the PSP department. Maybe if there were puzzle, strategy, RPG, or platformers released at the same time, there would be fewer complaints.

  • Whoops! Not a good update.

  • Hey Morgan, quick question. Do you know if the walking dead sale will still be going on after we receive our $10 vouchers? I understand if it’s one of those things you can’t say because of future sale times or whatever.

Keep up the good work. I think plus is by far the best service out there.

    • I think that sale might end by next week, and the vouchers should be coming by 4/12; so the planets might not align on that one

  • great update!!!, it worth the wait

  • Morgan May we have “The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky” (psp/psvita) next month?…just saying

  • Am I the only one who’s a bit miffed that not only did it take quite a while to post, but when it finally was there wasn’t much to be very excited for. Xbox marketplace had been doing one-day sales all day, I believe they just had a Spring sale, & EU+ just had a week of easter egg sales. Certainly US Playstation had something similar in store. That’s one of the reasons for delay right? This was my expectation & I feel a bit underwhelmed.

  • Any reason Uncharted and Gravity Rush are still free on Vita? Theyve been there since + launched on the system. I’d love to have new Vita games to play instead of PSP fighter after PSP fighter. At least give us RPGs if you’re going to give us PSP games. There are so many good RPG choices…

  • hi. im from canada and i didnt see the new April Playstation Plus free games on the store. when it will be available?

  • YES! More victims to succumb to my hyper-mode Fire Spray!

  • And goddammit, this game is nearly 4 years old!!

  • While I’ve played Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls so many times it’s not even funny, it’s really nice to see Demon’s Souls as a free game. Sure, there are going to be people complaining, “bah, I’ve already played that game” but I’ll remind them PS+ represents the best deals for the really casual game player, who doesn’t buy too many games.

When Borderlands became a PS+ free game, I gave my disc to a friend after explaining it was free for PS+, he loved the game. Maybe I’ll do the same with Demon’s Souls. Perhaps he’ll just think to himself, “Maybe I should just buy PS+ for myself!”

    In short…nice game choice.

Funny thing though, is that once again, I would rather have had the EU selection…I’ve never played Okami. I’ve heard it’s really fun, although easy.

  • Sony,

Thank you for supporting your fan-base with games that are actually awesome. Thanks for making it worth my while to be a PS Plus member. This is an awesome update, just like the last one!

    Sincerely,
    Zandercole

  • Wow.another month of psp imports

  • First I want to say that I’m happy to see the entire month’s lineup instead of just the upcoming week, much appreciated.

Second, theres gotta be a limit to how many times one guy can spam about the EU Plus. I know, I get it, Europe has an amazing Plus and I would sign up for it instantly if I knew that it would take my US billing address. But as far as I know it doesn’t, and I reeeeally don’t need to be reminded on a weekly basis thank you. Request titles all you want but chill with all these direct EU comparisons

Third and last, I’d like to also ask for more RPGs for the Plus Vita. “Vita” barely has any games atm so I’m not gonna say the Plus games have to be Vita specific, but it’d be nice to not see another fighter in a while…and I don’t even have a Vita “yet”.

  • Morgan is there any chance to see MLB The Show 12 or ModNation Racer for Vita in the IGC?

  • Thanks for Demons Souls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! **gives hug :)

  • Already have Demon’s Souls, I only hope that in Mexico I can Download the SoulCalibur game I’m still waiting to be able to download Tekken 6, Oh well, let’s see what other discounts will we have this month, I also Have The Walking Dead Game! Not a great week or me

  • This is a pretty damn good update if I may say so. I love the fact that I’ll finally get to play Demon Souls and see what all excitement is about. Always wanted to try it but I’m not sure if I’ll like it so I never bought it.

As to the people who are complaining about EU getting “better” games, yes it’s true that they do, but I like having the chance to try some of these “indie” games for free that I normally never would have because I know nothing about them.

Between the IGC and the some of the great sales that they have I’m so glad I decided to get a PS+ subscription. Back when they had Tiger Woods 13, Unfinished Swan, etc on sale I bought almost all of them and all it cost me was the regular price of Tiger Woods 13. Same with last weeks sale, I bought pretty much all of them and it cost me a little less than $50 for 8 games.

    Not too bad at all.

  • great games to this month, i’d thought to buy demon’s souls this week, thanks all of you. I hope next month you can add two games with platinum, see you next month.

  • Meanwhile, in europe ps+ is worth it the usa ps+ team is awful. Demon’s souls a game from 2009 that i have owned since then and another fighting game, how many fighting games can someone possibly play?

  • Europe PS Plus gets:
    3rd April: Okami HD
3rd April: Lord of the Rings: War in the North
    3rd April: The Cave
10th April: Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward
    24th April: Thomas Was Alone
On top of games like Sleeping Dogs, Mass Effect 3, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Arkham City, Red Dead Redemption, Lumines Electronic Symphony etc

  • @475

Soul Calibur is indeed available in México, I checked last night thinking it would be another Bamco fiasco.

  • I gotta agree with the others. Awesome monthly update with Demon’s souls up first and the other interesting games. All though I am highly disappointed with the vita retail game being a lackluster fighting game that wasn’t very good on the psp. If we’re going to get games like this can they be vita fighting games? Or rather can we get more retail vita games rather than psp retail games? I was hoping we would get Mortal kombat for the vita as a freebie rather than another psp fighting game.

  • Help: I tried to get Specs Ops The Line to many times, but always is “Not Available”.

  • Now this is a update I’m glad to see…April is going to epic! The 3 games we’ll be getting this month are games I was tempted to buy and now I can get them for for free…This is why I love you guys and why I look forward to seeing these updates…

  • @469 ” but I’ll remind them PS+ represents the best deals for the really casual game player, who doesn’t buy too many games.”

I don’t see ANY casual gamer playing and enjoying Demon’s Souls.

  • This is a great update, keep up the good work Playstation!

  • I didn’t think it could get much worse than last month. Why even bother adding a game to the subscription that’s already had its online functions turned off? First they take away half the games we get in order to give stuff to handheld users, now they can’t even give us a decent title.

+1 to the growing list of people that would rather be on EU PS+

  • Please what time happens update to PSN store?

  • I just want to say PS+ is great.
But put a 4 year game is bad call.

  • Demon’s Souls, niiiice. (any chances for Okami HD next month? It would be amazing!)

  • wait what? demon souls? damn bought that game last week :(

  • demons souls for ps3 and zombie tycoon 2, soul calibur for my ps vita, malicious i prefer to wait for ps vita version to be released

  • awesome, thanx sony. this is why you obliterate crapbox, IMO

  • The crybabies again, now they don´t cry for Sleeping Dogs but Mass Effect *sighs*. Just Demon´s Souls and Malicious alone make this update very worthy, and to know I was about to purchase Demon´s Souls a few days ago, now they saved me $20 + shipping ;)

Last month we got Disgaea 3 for PSV, isn´t that game worhty enough for *almost* the whole PS+ suscription? That game alone is $40. So much games for free, I mean I have like 20 games queued from PS+ that I don´t even think I can play them all and keep up with in my little free time LOL, those $50 for PS+ are the BEST $50 I’ve ever spent, EVER.

  • Seems to me Morgan only answers the comments that praise the additions.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved Vanquish, Spec Ops and The Cave, but I wanted to believe that the better titles in teh EU was just an unfortunate coincidence. The US Store could use some current generation games as well.

Since I´m not spamming or being wildly irrational, I’d love an equally rational response as to the blatant difference in content in teh EU Store.

    Thanks in advance.

  • I haven’t mentioned it for a while, but again It would be great if on PS Vita or PS4… secondary accounts can be upgraded to master accounts. I’ve had this account for 6-7 years and I think that I should be able to upgrade it to a master account.

  • Plusless and proud.

American plus is too weak in general and deff too weak in portable.
And theres always the…wait till real fans have already bought the stuff your offering factor.
Are you trying to train people NOT to buy games at release?

    Meh…just, meh.
(These are my opinions and im sticking to them)

  • I hear such great things about Demon’s Souls and I’m very happy that it’s coming to the IGC! None of the other content in April is a huge deal for me but it’s cool for people who want it. I definitely appreciate the monthly updates and it seems like the US PS+ is getting some much-needed new energy!

  • I own 2 of the three big PS3 releases (Demon Souls and Malicious). Demon Souls is an absolute gem and every PS3 gamer should pick it up! Malicious, which I haven’t finished yet, is button mashing galore with riveting action and some of the bosses are pretty hard.

Will definitely pick up Ep. 3-5 of TWD!!

  • I usually don’t comment on these boards. I just read and leave ,but Im liking this update . I always wanted to try Demon Souls and a few others on the updates so Thank you for the updates for April.

  • I’m actually very pleased with this update. All of those games look interesting to me and I haven’t played any of them. I’m going to be busy this week! Thanks guys!

  • I like PSP games and all but it’s a bit disappointing to get two fighters in a row.

  • Thank you Sony! Thanks to PS Plus I have converted 99% percent of my friends that were mindless Xbox zombies back into respectable thinking human beings, rescued them from the “Gates” of Hell (get it?!?!?!), and returned them to the land of the civilized gamers. LOL. Suck it Mr. Bill! :-P

Can’t wait for PS4!!!! Sony is without a doubt the best company for gamers and the Playstation has always led the fight since its inception and I continue to look forward to their future achievements. Oh, and as far as the complaints about free PSP games with no trophy support …. games aren’t played for trophies, pats on the back, or ATTABOYS … games are played for the pure joy they bring to those that love them. So …. QUIT COMPLAINING ABOUT FREE GAMES!!!!

And again, THANK YOU SONY AND PS PLUS!!!!!

    VR

    The Dead Cat

  • I don’t really care what EU gets since I’ve already got a backlog of games I haven’t played yet since I started Plus last June (after E3). By the time I’m ready to play these ‘newer’ games, they’ll be much older.

At the same time, I’m happy for EU customers. They’ve been given the short stick in the past between SCEA and SCEE. I guess it’s time they got some love.
