  • Well, nothing for me this month.

Here are some games I’d love to see in the IGC:

God of War (any/all games in the series; digital versions of GOW3 & Ascension)
Grand Theft Auto (any/all games in the series)
Metal Gear Solid (any/all games in the series; digital version of MGS4)
    Rayman Origins (PS3/Vita)
    Red Dead Redemption
    Saints Row 3
Uncharted (any/all games in the series)

Also, you add Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops to the Vita store? It’s available in all regions except North America, and it’s also the only MGS game I haven’t played!

  • No Bioshock Infinite???? HHAHAHA Just Kidding
This will be my second month with PS Plus and I think you guys have a great program going on with alot of great games coming in. Last month I loved games like Spec Ops : The Line. This month we have Demon Souls which i’m not personally a fan of, but i know it’s a terrific game for most, and up until now i’d never heard of Labyrinth Legends or Malicious… But wow they sound awesome. Keep up the good work!!

  • Probably would never try Demon Souls if it wasn’t for this. Will be interested to try that game out. Even If there isn’t a game i like every month Plus at least gives me something i probably wouldn’t buy on my own that i may actually enjoy playing.

I wish we would get some of the games Europe gets but i am satisfied with what amounts to 50 games for 50 bucks. Can’t really complain about that.

  • theXsilentXchild

i hope this is an April Fools Joke for ps+. Last month was awesome and this looks horrid! maybe Zombie Tycoon will be good… i hope… I’ll pick up the last episode of the Walking Dead from the sale. Not a fan of torture games like Demon Souls or Mega Man.

  • BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • The people complaining ruin this blog.

A year subscription to PS+ costs, at most, $4.16 a month, and less if you get it on sale/promotion. Every month we get awesome games — heck, Disgaea 3 vita is still nearly full price used. PS+ has filled my 32gig vita card full of awesome games (Gravity Rush, Uncharted, Disgaea, etc) and I’ve got such a backlog of PS3 and PSN games it’s insane. My year of PS+ has already been paid for by just Spec Ops, Disgaea, The Cave, and various discounts. Last year was paid for in a single month (the dawn of Vita+).

Yes, Zero Escape is a great game. But Demon’s Souls is absolutely AMAZING. Seriously, give it a chance. Game of the generation, no doubt. And while Zero Escape was great, we got Disgaea 3 vita just last month, which is easily equal if not superior.

Morgan, you guys are doing great. Can’t believe you put up with all the ridiculous haters on here. And don’t even buy into the ‘never gonna resubscribe’ talk, because they know as well as we all do that PS+ is a ridiculous value, and double so since Vita+ started (and we basically started getting double the games).

  • There will be months where its going to be terrible. Other months are going to be amazing. But the main point PS+ is the instant game collection.

    “Your Instant Game Collection”
“Immediate access to a library of great games”
“New titles arriving all the time”
“Exclusive access to game betas, demos and features”

SCEA doesn’t owe you anything to pour out the best of the best titles. If you feel EU is providing better content, then subscribe to them. EU and the PAL region gets screwed over with localizations 90% of the time, so it balances out anyways.

Its like some people expect that every game on their wishlist better be free on playstation plus.

  • o! and if i wanted psp games i would have kept mine and not traded it towards my freaking vita!

  • but for real now …. maybe its time to lower the prices of the vita memory cards lol and make a new 64gb one XD

  • I’m gad to see Demon’s Souls, I’ve been interested in it and Dark Souls, but I know they’re games I might not be able to get into which has stopped me from buying them. Be able to try it out this way is nice.

Also won’t mind Soul Calibur, but I have to agree that PSP games for the Vita slot, particularly old ones, is rather lame. New games in general would be nice.

p.s. I’d also like to see Unit 13 make it’s way to Plus.

  • It’s almost like PS Plus don’t have to buy games anymore. Stuff just getting better. TY SONY!!! And definitely getting PS4 on day 1. Can’t wait.

  • Not much of a fighter fan, and I don’t want to play DS, cos I don’t play to frustrate myself AT ALL. But I like that the games are coming in a way that appeals to much more people, quality wise. And, no, having played/platted a game in no way lowers its quality.

I like TPS, RPG, puzzlers (PLEASE give me Zero Escape in the future), Action/Adventure and platformers.

I don’t like driving games (willing to try N4S for vita), fighters, FPS.

I love my PLUS, would like to see some of the EU freebies come to us eventually, at least the ones that appeal to me….ok and others too. That should not be construed as a complaint in any way.

  • + Gadirok dude seriously…… We being the consumers have the right to tell them if we like the updates or not.. stop defending them… jeez.

It isnt fair because europe gets better games….. im sure they will get demon souls too.
they get everything good. its so terrible

someone teach me how to get a euroep account i tried to get one but the work aroun didnt work i know you have to have a europe card… does anyone know how to actually get a euro account?

  • @191

“There will be months where its going to be terrible”

It’s been terrible for SEVERAL months now. I never contributed anything to the forums or comments previously until I realised PS Plus was shafting me and had to say something.

  • bad update…. I want Okami HD…

  • Btw demons souls is nice and all but it just seems we get the cheap games EU gets special treatment..why?

  • I spent $50 to save money under the impression US Plus was worth the money. I didn’t intend to spend another $50 for a European membership.

  • Just to add my personal feedback to the feedback of others: I too am mildly disappointed about seeing another PSP fighter. But for me it’s not because it’s a PSP game, it’s because it’s a fighter. There are plenty of PSP games I’d be happy to get. I suppose most of them are probably RPGs.

  • i don’t get why everyone is so excited about demon souls. if you wanted it so bad, why didn’t you get it over the last couple of years it’s been available. anyways, I am disappointed with the content this month but i know there will be better months to come so i’ll just play tomb raider and GoW Ascension till next month and hope we get some content that i would enjoy. don’t worry Sony, you’re still way better at giving back to your consumers than microsoft will ever be.

  • I Hope this is an April Fools prank

  • yeah last mnonth was pretty awesome…. this month sucks maybe if i didnt already own the games.. maybe ill sell my demon souls and just get the plus one..

  • I’ve was just messing around with the Dragon’s Dogma demo earlier today and thinking how awesome it would be if it was added to the IGC in April (although I don’t think it is has a digital download), but Demon Souls is even better! Also, Labyrinth Legends just recently came to my attention, so having it added to the IGC too is fantastic! Thanks for another awesome update.

  • you make no sense it’s not free if you pay for a service and people are upset they pay the same as EU and get far lesser titles

  • Bought The Walking Dead 2 weeks ago full price which is quite frustrating!

I am very happy about the discount on Rainbow Moon though!

As for the IGC – meh. I have Demon’s Souls which is clearly the best of the bunch – Also I don’t like getting PSP ports to my Vita… I bought a Vita to play Vita games.

  • There is a difference between complaining and repeatedly posting the same thing over and over to garner attention. You are making yourself look like a fool Zen. Stop trolling. Cheers!

  • Please no more old psp fighting games, I only play them for 5 minutes, but if your going to give psp games then maybe God of War: Ghost of Sparta, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, other awesome first party exclusives (properties) that you guys own, or just the massive library of 1 year old PS Vita games/Launch Titles

  • 1. Demon soul is a classic game which i was afraid to play, looks like it’s time to fight my inner demons. Perfect :)
    2. Malicious looks AWESOME in the trailer, diying to try it.
    3. Labyrinth Legends looks fun, but i’m not entirely sold in this one.
    4. Zombie Tycoon 2 looks good, but let’s wait for some gameplay.
    5. I’m a fan of SOULCALIBUR, but the PSP game seriously lacked content, unlike Tekken 6 which was a fantastic adition to the collection. Not very excited about this.

Overall good update (not as amazing as the one with Disgaea 3 and Spec ops).

  • My intent isn’t to be rude, but doesn’t it simply make sense not to choose a four year old game? It’s not even full price at retail. It seems like whoever’s behind these choices might be out of touch with consumer demand. Unless I’m wrong in judging that a large number of people have already played Demon’s? In which case I wouldn’t be as disappointed.

  • well as far as the games not being free when you downloaded the spc ops game that was most of your $50 right so anything you got before or after were indeed very free.

  • Dark Souls would have made more sense, but that would require SONY using our Plus money for something decent.

  • What’s worse is that I really wanted to say something nice about Plus today. SONY really knows how to take the wind out of somebodies sails.

  • Not one of the best months. I’ll give Demon’s Soul a try eventually, but after just playing through Ni No Kuni, I’m not ready for a new RPG. The PSN games are a little disappointing, both have mediocre reviews (67 and 68 on Metacritic). That’s fine though as I have a few games from previous months that I want to catch up with.

  • Malicious? That’s the game I was been trying to remember to get when that $10 showed up in my account last month. Between this, The Cave and SSFIV:AE, my $36 bucks was spent wisely over the past six months.

..Lab and ZT2 I’m not entirely sure about. <_<'

  • I don’t understand why people don’t like old games. I just did my homework on this game. It’s suppose to be hard, but so awesome!

  • Demon’s Souls! Can’t believe it! Best free game yet from PS+. Dark Souls is my favorite game and I’ve been holding off buying Demon’s Souls until I had enough free time to play it. I’ll have a few days to myself in April and here’s Demon’s Souls! Thanks so much!

  • @231

I got Demon Soul’s for $10. It’s a bargain bin title and a PS3 classic. It’s hard to have not played it at this point.

  • Wooo awesome update! The wait totally worth it!!!

  • two fighting games in a row, I hope next month this change

  • I was waiting for a dirt cheap price for demon souls on steam but free cant be beat. thx ps plus . gonna check out malicious as well. nothing for vita seems interesting. but im still working on uncharted and gravity rush . proud new vita owner and renewed ps plus member. keep up the good work

  • Picked up a Vita this weekend($200!:D) along with a PS+ membership to go with it and seeing today’s list of games for this month, I feel good about my decision. lol

  • i don’t understand how can the service afford 2 $40 psp games but no vita retail titles, worse part about this month is that we don’t get Soul Sacrifice until the 30th and no word about a demo before release, this is a disappointing month for me :/
I don’t mind a psp game every now and then but another fighting game after tekken 6 was not a good choice in my opinion, i’m really hoping for some good vita sales for ps plus members.

  • Malicious and Soul Calibur PSP, I like :)

  • 3 things

1 I know my opinion will fall in the unpopular catagory but playstation plus usa has been significantly better than playstation eu due to the fact that most of the europe plus games are games I’ve already owned and played… also all there highly sought plus games have been dirth cheap on psn
Dues ex and just cause with all dlc are about 15 bucks and sleeping dogs with all dlc released is 30 bucks

    2. Every game on the us plus update the last 2 months I never played…. own 75 percent of eu plus updates. While we understand your frustration were not angry because we actually are getting a deal from some of the us offers…. I missed the 10 demons souls sale last time which is why I promptly purchased just cause 2 at $10

    3. The best feature of plus is the deep discounts

  • Dragonslayer_023

This looks like a pretty weak month (especially for Vita), though I imagine some people will be interested in Demon’s Souls. I’m not opposed to PSP games on principle but I don’t really get anything out of these old fighting games. Does anyone?

  • Demon Souls…… NICE!!!

  • Let me show you how to complain, without looking annoying or spamming:

In all honesty, this is one of the more underwhelming months.
Most of us already own Demon’s Souls and the titles are overall kind of lacking on the PS3 front. Then with the portable front, soul calibur is a decent title but you guys should not have opted for another fighter. It wasn’t an ideal time for another fighter on the PSP. Especially after releasing Tekken 6 last month.

The whole idea (the way that I see it) is diversity in genres and content to get people to avoid complaining.
Demons Souls is great (especially for those of us who haven’t had the chance to play it) but the fact that is essentially the only main AAA title for the month is dissapointing and underwhelming compared to previous PS+ months in NA and especially in comparison to PAL/EU.

Zombie Tycoon II is great, but the fact that it is delivering at the end of the month (29 days from now) pretty much makes that a moot release too as its going to be a long month until we get that title.

  • What time zone does the PS Store update?

    Eastern or Pacific?

  • Malicious is horrible… sorry but I have to say that. Soul Cal BD is pretty old but playing it again should be fun. I did enjoy playing as Kratos in that game. Demon Souls of course and the others look pretty fun too. All pretty fair cept Malicious… Wasted my money on that.

  • Hey Morgan! I think this is a good update that includes (IMO) one of the best Playstation exclusives of all time, I think that if a game that good (and that old) is added to the IGC it’s very likely that most of the PS+ suscribers are going to have played or beaten the game, I see it like adding Uncharted 2 or god of war 3… I’m almost sure that most of the suscribers have played those.

For those who haven’t playe Demos souls you are very lucky to have it added to the IGC… enjoy this unique experience!

  • Just bought the downloadable version of Demon’s Souls a week and a half ago. Wish I had waited since I’m Ps Plus
