  • Great update. No idea why people are complaining about Demons Souls for free – it’s a great game, period. And $9 for the Walking Dead episodes that weren’t part of PS Plus counts as a great deal in my book.

    Keep it up, Playstation!

  • I signed up for 3 months in March due to an inherent desire to see what the “fuss” was about with Spec Ops. I was actually impressed that PS+ US was able to secure a more well-known title. I’m not knowledgeable on licensing and how much it costs vs what companies will allow their games to be used in the service, but I am pretty lackadaisical these days. I feel as if I should of saved my money, I purchased Tokyo Jungle coinciding with my + and have rarely touched + other than a free theme or two. The games are outdated and low scorers which generally means this + US service feels a lot like Netflix, quantity over quality and a lot of what I could care less about.

I appreciate Sony offering a service like this in the first place as well as keeping PSN free, which I doubt will resume with the “next-gen”, but I can’t rally behind a corporation and act like its a relative. This is a weak selection, especially in comparison to the EU + market. I honestly wanted Okami HD, I was so impressed that it had made the list – but didn’t realize I was reading about EU.

    Thank you.

  • Do we not get the 10.49 walking dead complete deal because we have “purchased” 2 of the episodes during the time they were “free” on PS PLUS???

  • I just checked and Labyrinth Legends is not free for PS+ members. Typo or office slip-up?

    • Remember, check back every Monday to learn when Malicious (PS3), Zombie Tycoon 2 (PS Vita and PS3), Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny (PS Vita and PSP), and Labyrinth Legends (PS3) are arriving to PS Plus members. You’ll also find more discounts and other exclusives that we weren’t able to detail here just yet.

The only content releasing this week in Plus are under the April 2nd header

  • Man, Plus has gotten me bustin out my PSP a lot more. Thinking about getting the psp go if we keep getting good PSP games. The PS3 game suck this month though, Never heard of any of these game. But I hate rpg’s so why would I? We need more sports and racing games next month.

  • Any chance we could get discounts on DLCs for some games? I would love it.

  • Excellent! Great Update! Waiting for Last of Us Digital… Hope =p

  • Sony needs to stop loading up the European gamers with lots of great free Vita games and show some love to us in North America instead. Disgaea was great but what you’ve been giving North American members in the last three months is a poor offering compared to the love our fellow gamers overseas are getting.

I am disappointed, let me tell you…

  • @481 I don’t think they’re STUPID! and apparently neither do some of the posters here. One bought a PS+ just to get Street Fighter II HD Remix. Imagine that.

  • PS+ is a great deal… and if you’re from Europe it would appear like it’s the best deal imaginable…

  • That’s a hint Sony. Don’t think we’re not paying attention to Europe! ;)

There, I’ve planted the seed. Effectively I hope. :D

  • Please have less PSP title for the Vita IGC.
    PS3 IGC doesn’t want PS2 titles, right?

  • I’d rather see Namco Bandai’s other expensive PSP game Ace Combat rather than Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny. Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur: BD already had recent sale prices and price drops and an entry from a different genre would be most welcome. While I appreciate Demon Souls I would much rather see a more accessible entry that more players can get into. Last month I purchased 3 1-yr subscriptions for my 3 friends’ birthdays and this month is a bit of a let down for what Playstation Plus is capable of.

  • This month in my opinion might be the best month of content as a whole since the roll out of IGC, very very pleased every game looks fun well Demon Souls not fun but hopefully good.

  • Cool Demon’s Souls, I was thinking to cancel my suscription and buy Demon’s Souls instead, but I decided to maintain my subscription and now I have Demon’s Souls also :)

  • What about the games that are already free on PS+ now? I want to get DOA5, but my PS wallet is empty. I’ll put some money today or tomorrow. Will DOA5 still be on PS+ for free?

  • didn’t we use to get DLC discounts and freebies?

  • @467 intrigue169 Good Call! It’s really smart to get EU subscription now. Did you get a bonus 3 months? I jumped on the ship 2 months ago to get Sleeping Dogs. I wish I could wait a little bit so I can have the extra 3 months for free. So jealous. Maybe I should go to ebay to buy another 1 year subscription to take advantage of this promotion.

  • Why does the NA PS+ suck so much?

  • Could you please add MGS4 and Folklore to the PS+ for free? I’m sure a lot of people will subscribe for them!!

  • Good month.

  • Would be nice if Morgan responded to comment’s that isn’t all praise. What’s the point of having a comment section if you aren’t going to take criticism and answer back to the community.

  • will there ever be a demo for soul sacrifice ps vita????

  • Don’t listen to the haters, this was a great update.

Demon’s Souls is awesome, and the PSN games sound interesting if nothing else (I really would’ve loved Rainbow Moon on Plus though, please give us that one in the future!).

Vita update was kind of weak this month though. Still, they don’t have any right to complain, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, and other Plus additions over the past few months were great.

I think a lot of people are forgetting that technically, VITA IS STILL A NEW DEVICE. There are still not tons of games for the system, the fact that it does have so many games already is a miracle. Don’t be unappreciative!

  • Hey morgan thanks for the update I look forward to mondays just for this lol I stared at my screen from 11 am till 8:00pm Waiting to see what you have put up unfortunately nothing for me this month IGC wise but I might pick up rainbow moon and whatever other sales you guys might put up this month so again thanks morgan

  • @359 passivefamiliar – Ooh the best comment I’ve seen in a long time…thats pure truth.

  • I’ve got a serious question and hope some people could help me ASAP.

I’ve got a PS3 (phat) and I’ve got an active PS plus membership. But the above stated games (which should be there at the moment) I do not see.

These include, but probably not limited to:

April 2nd – Spec Ops: the Line
April 9th – Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition
April 16th – Anomaly: Warzone Earth
April 23rd – Mega Man Maverick Hunter X
April 30th – Disgaea 3 Absence of Detention

Well, guess what: ALL GAMES that should dissapear this month are not visible.

    Any suggestions?

I live in Europe, The Netherlands, if that changes anything.

    Thanks!

  • We are not “haters” for mentioning that we have a greater interest in games being released to the EU. Demon Souls is a great game, of course, but there have been a lot of high quality games released to Europe. We don’t “hate” anyone.

Oh, and by the way, I don’t think this poor guy Morgan is in charge of Sony and the content being released. We can let him know our positives and negative feedback and he will pass it on and hope he is able to dig up some responses for us.

  • To all the people crying about the EU psplus…..just go make yourself a EU account, buy a subscription off amazon for plus….done. not hard. Idiots just want the world handed to them. Anyone with sense will go get iI’m

imalways happy with whatever plus let’s out the gate something new and different may not always be what I wanted but a free game is a free game. i hate the way society is anymore. People are nothing but greedy leechmongers. (Kudos if you catch the connection there, maybe iI’ll drop a sign for you sometime)I’m I

i’m considering making a EU ACCOUNT, but…honestly my backlog is lengthy enough as it is due to plus. I hardly even buy games anymore, a few here and there. Plus has been the best money. i’ve Spent in a long time. Love it.

  • Anyone that wants a EU PS+ sub can just buy one. If it was that important to you then you would.
For ever person that doesn’t like the games offered in the US there are just as many that do. I have been a PS+er since Day One and while there have been weeks where there was nothing interesting to me there are then weeks that bring multiple games. There are weeks the entire PSN Store doesn’t have anything so should I complain about that too? Just because the weekly deals aren’t exactly what you want, doesn’t mean you have to whine about it publicly. A PS+ sub is a heck of a lot cheaper than moving to Europe, right? :-)

  • @Obrusnine

Vita is not new. It’s over a year old and has seen it’s first holiday releases. There are a reasonable amount of games for a 1 year old device. I think most people are used to a large library and forget how scarce the first years are. It’s been many year since the last launch of a Sony device.

    @VilsconMusician

If you are using your EU account and EU Playstation Plus to go to the US store you will not see the US PS+ content. If you are using a US account and US Plus. I’m not sure why you don’t see them. Have you tried the webstore?

  • Great update! Just finished my thesis today, so now I got time to play again =D.

Just wondering, is there a way to expand our online cloud storage? I’ve run out and would be willing to pay for a little extra storage if that’s an option.

  • Very glad about Demons Soul even though I already beat it but lookin to get the platinum for it when I get a chance.

  • sorry for having typed the wrong words .I really want Ninja Gaiden back again as I regret joining ps plus so late. I’d appreciate a lot if you …

  • I bought demon souls like one month ago and now is free!!??? Any chance to get my money back ?

  • you have got to be kidding me. Those games are quite old which means if I have not already played them, I don’t intend to do so now. Why is PS+ US so much worse than PS+ EU? As someone who is playing on PS3 and Vita I feel like I should cancel my US Account and get EU time vouchers :-(

  • April 9th – Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition

I would like to see lets another fighting game, idk maybe DOA5 or MK and i’m alright with it. Maybe for next month or later this month as an additional bonus . Thx.

  • Can you guys please fix Stacked on the store? It’s on sale, but the file size there was only like 5 KB, which was the full game unlock. I don’t have the demo anymore, and it isn’t on the store so I can’t re-download it. So basically I paid almost $4 for a 5KB file I can’t use.

  • Finally, stuff on PS+.
    Last 2 months, I didn’t get much.

    Keep it coming.

  • Great update! Played Demon’s Souls last night and was really enjoying it, also, I’ve been eyeballing the Labyrinth Legends game.
I like the recent change to 1 bigger game, along with smaller titles, knowing the month ahead of time is also a huge plus in my book.

  • OH MY GOSH! I’m so happy that I’ll get demon’s souls, I wanted to get that game for a while, THANKS!

  • Sleeping dogs for the next time please.

  • i hope zombie tycoon is the best game i will have ever played because 2 games is really not doing it for me.

  • there are too many fighter games we i want more rpg’s and adventures plz.

  • I’m really disappointed.EU got games like Mass Effect 3 ,Metal Gear Solid HD Collection,Batman Arkham City ,Red Dead Redemption ,Sleeping Dogs,Okami and we get a 3 year old RPG game and some cheap PSN games.I mean come on ,you need to keep up with EU PS+ ,US and EU PS+ need to have the same games. If you keep giving us lame games I won’t renew my subscription.

  • Europe PS Plus gets:
    3rd April: Okami HD
3rd April: Lord of the Rings: War in the North
    3rd April: The Cave
10th April: Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward
    24th April: Thomas Was Alone
On top of games like Sleeping Dogs, Mass Effect 3, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Arkham City, Red Dead Redemption, Lumines Electronic Symphony etc

I have a question.Demons Souls came out 4 years ago ,so if I haven’t bought it by now,do you really think that I’m even remotely interested in that game?WE WANT THE SAME UPDATES AS EU!

  • Ahh this is perfect, a game that seems to get way too much hype for it’s own good but seriously appears as nothing special in Demon’s Souls, and a game that nobody ever talks about that looks very interesting in Malicious, both I’ve been wanting to try but not willing to fork out money for.The selections every month are just getting better and better, keep it going NA Plus!!!

  • Is anybody else having problems installing Demon’s Souls?
I tried to download and install it like three times already, and I always get error 80010038.
    Please help! >.<

  • I had that happen to me with Spec Ops, until I started the download from the link in the store as opposed to on my download list, then it worked fine.

  • THANK YOU! as a gamer with zero interest in first person shooters, i often feel like there’s few triple-a titles out there for me to enjoy in the mass market, let alone through my ps+ subscription. this month, my faith in ps+ has been completely restored. please keep mixing up the genres for free games and discounts, playstation!
