  • @448 Not sure.

  • We seriously need to get the same PS3 releases as Europe, there releases are way better.

I guess the U.S. randomly gets there games selected out of the bargain bin.

  • @448 Try logging into the store, I can access it now and see the offer.

  • Very, very nice update, both for content and the new monthly format. and it is good to have a few surprise in discounts in the way, too. I can spend more knowing what’s for free, and in all, just made me happier. Hope you keep up the nice work, not just a bait to sell more ps+ subscriptions. But hell, two of the free games this month already payed the one year subscription. =D

  • Admit it Morgan, you’re grinning like a kid, lol. 10 pages of praises. You have never seen anything like this before. you probably got used to all the complaining, week after week.
    Good work.

    • I AM A ROBOT. I FEEL NO EMOTION.

thanks though! Taking the good with the bad is all in a day’s / week’s / month’s / year’s work.

  • Just to clarify: if I buy the one year, i get 3 months for free plus the $10 plus Spec Ops plus The Cave? that’s gold.

  • This week’s announcements are wild! How are there people who don’t have PS Plus.
Well, you’ve got till tomorrow’s store update to get the three extra months, people!

  • does disgaea 3 have transfarrer option with PS3 version??

  • First off, I’d like to say, thank you for this format. It’s something I and many other have been wanting for a long time. Glad to see it finally happen.

Second, this is surprisingly a good month of updates. You’ve provided a nice variety of titles to satisfy the different crowds and I couldn’t be more pleased.

Third, (and this kind of plays into the second point of variety) I am INREDIBLY happy to see an RPG in this list.

Overall, bravo to you guys this month. I’m seriously thumbs upping my monitor right now.

  • Superupdate!

  • Here, honest comment.
I have some of these games, but this is definitely the PS+ that we want, keep it going.
I love commenting after the pletora of comment, about the 9th to 10th page, and this is what they should look like from now on…
    Thanks Morgan.

  • @452 Thanks, it worked! The store is back up already. =)

    Fantastic update!

  • This is one of the best updates I’ve seen so far. Not only that, but for me it was actually better than the EU update for March. We gotta give credit where credit is due. You guys hear complains every single week about how EU Plus is better, so I believe you deserve to hear when you get it right as well. Congrats!

However, there is one thing bothering me. PS4 has just been announced. Games acquired for the PS3 will not work on the PS4. I’m worried about how long PS Plus will be supported on the PS3. And if it eventually ceases to exist, it would be nice if the content provided could be given to subscribers. Or else if could happen that my Plus signature expires or the PLUS ceases to exist and I stop being able to play certain games that, if I wanted, I could renew the subscription just to keep playing them.

Lastly, could you please negotiate with SquareEnix to make Einhander avaiable on the PSN US? It is available on the JPN PSN. I wouldn’t mind getting the japanese version either. Just make it available. It is one of the gems of the PSX library, one of the best and most underrated games developed by the former Squaresoft.

It would look incredible on the Vita.

    Thanks!!

  • This is much better than what we’ve been getting lately. Thanks! :) And I am really happy to finally see an RPG!

  • Best PS plus update in while! I hope this keeps up.

Will the day one digital games be released @ 12 am PST tomorrow?

  • With vanquish, spec ops: the line and the $40 for 15 months ($2.66 per month), I just joined and downloaded LBP 2, infamous 2, darksiders, vanquish, foosball and tomorrow spec ops. Sine Mora is only $4.89 with ps+! Great value with ps+.

  • @464 Little Big Planet 2 still gets updates with dlc and such, some free ones come and go quickly.

  • This update is phenomenal. I’m so glad we’re getting Disgaea 3 on Vita! More JRPGS please. ^________^

  • Hey Morgan, hopefully you see this and can get back to me. It just dawned on me that my ps plus was automatically renewed back in February. Do I still qualify for the 3 months free if it automatically renewed as opposed to me clicking on the sale link?

    • I don’t think so because if I recall correctly, the auto renew renews you for 3 months and not 12. I could be wrong here, but if it’s just auto renewing you for another 3 months, than it wouldn’t tack on an extra 3 months; whereas if you bought a 12 months membership, it would. Forgive me, I should be more familiar with the ins and outs of auto renew, but I believe what I mentioned is correct.

  • anyone else having issues downloading Foosball 2012 PS Vita ? I can’t seem to download it, every other downlaod works great though… it jujst comes up with an error saying it can’t be downloaded at this time.

  • Awesome update. I haven’t been happy with the updates for a while but this one makes me really happy. Thank you. I almost bought The Cave last night, and I’ve been wanting to check out Spec Ops: The Line, plus I’ll definitely be getting Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes for less than $20. Best update I’ve seen in a long time. Thanks again :) With these games plus Tomb Raider, MLB 13 The Show and Tiger Woods 14 ME at the end of the month, March will be a fun gaming month :)

  • Tekken 6 free but not for PS3? why not?.

  • Nice update! this week will be grrrreat! Thank you guys!

  • One of the best updates ever, glad that I resubscribed yesterday.

  • Awesome update!!! Now that’s what I’m talking about !! Vita is getting Lotsa love ~

  • 1 Question.

“1) Adding Plus DOES count towards the promo “Get $10 For Every $50 Spent” promo =) One 12 month Membership purchased anytime from last week, and through this month = $10 back in April.”

one year of ps+ is 49.99 apply for that promo? (i buy one year, but i don’t know if i need to buy one low price stuff)

  • I like this PSN-3 update, keep this way ;)

  • I was going to buy Disgaea 3 for PS3 really soon but a Vita version will do just as nicely, plus the obligatory trophies. Not sure about Spec Ops but since it’s free, why not?

Thanks for the monthly update, you have my vote on making this a permanent feature.

  • Great update! Hope to see Persona 3 Portable on one of the ps+ discounts soon.

    • not sure if that’s on the radar, but I’ve personally been playing it after wrapping up Persona 4 Golden, and it’s awesome. Just no anime cutscenes, but same addictive systems.

  • @474 See reply to #48

  • Holy crap! Now THAT’S an update to get excited about! I’ve had my eye on Spec Ops for quite a while now and Disgaea 3 is a game I’ve been interested in giving a shot for a long time, considering it’s the only Disgaea I’ve yet to play.

All around fantastic job. I’m really excited to see this month play out now!

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ N1ghtm4reT

Purchasing a $49.99 Plus subscription is supposed to count as a $50 purchase according to a few Sony spokespeople, but if you’re really worried about it, just buy a cheap something or other from the store to get you over the hump.

I looked at your profile and noticed that you have MotorStorm RC. There are a few DLC vehicles available for that game that only cost 25 cents. You could buy one of those if it’ll make you feel better about hitting the $50 mark.

  • I’m lovin the Vita Aniversary Sale!!! Has anyone played Street Fighter x Tekken for Vita and is it worth it?

  • TALLglassofWATER

I am happy that I just ordered a vita off amazon yesterday, I’ve really been looking forward to an RPG! I still think we could use more of them though, and most definitely on ps3. I’m intrigued at spec ops’s story, but I am getting weary of the amount of pew pew shooters you’ve been throwing our way. Not that I don’t enjoy dust514, I thoroughly enjoy it and have my fingers crossed for some future dust ps+ content, but it’s more than enough to quench my thirst for the genre. I am very happy to see both joe danger and the cave in the works as well.

  • I see I see

  • Sad to say that I missed out on Spec Ops The Line since my surgery on my back from a tumor, my PS+ expires and I have absolutely no money. Luck must have ran out on me somehow. :(

  • I let my plus expire, but you guys just sold me again!

  • @484 Spec Ops hasn’t been added yet.

  • @486 haha meant to say that I’m gonna miss out on it, considering I’m bed rid for 3 weeks without work lol.

  • @Primeroincognito

How do you view someone’s profile without sending a friend request?

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ goldenratio13

    us(dot)playstation(dot)com/publictrophy/index(dot)htm?onlinename=goldenratio13

Obviously, after the equal sign, you can erase your own name and put any other user’sname and see their trophy profile. And it’s a lot better than the one you can see from a friend request, actually.

  • Finally, an update that is worth it, especially after I renewed plus a week before the 3 month bonus was offered.

  • PrimeroIncognito

By the way, for folks who have MotorStorm Apocalypse, there are also Glow-In-The-Dark rims available as DLC, also for 25 cents… just in case you’re worried that the $49.99 Plus subscription will somehow glitch and not count towards the “Spend $50 Get $10 Back” promotion.

It should all work out fine, but if you’re worried about it, and you need the peace of mind, and you have either MotorStorm RC or MotorStorm Apocalyse, there are some super-cheap 25 cent DLCs available. Or just buy an avatar for 49 cents.

    :)

  • Why is it telling me LittleBigPlanet 2 has expired when I’m still a Playstation Plus member????

  • Awesome update, I’va always wanted to play Spec Ops :D

  • when is MGS Rising: Revengeance digital download coming to the us marketplace? It was up day one on the JP marketplace.

  • @492 Check your subscription under Account Management.

    @487 I don’t think it’ll be removed right away.

  • I need help! I can’t get my $50 PSN code to work! And I really want to buy the Year Subscription of PS+ in time for the 3 extra months! Sure, I could’ve paid for the PS+ card instead, but I didn’t paid attention, But anyway, HALP!!!

  • Yay US PS- finally gets a good game. It’s been a long time since I last rated a Plus update 5/5. I think back last year when we got Borderlands. Anyways, nice job.

  • Also I really hope you keep the monthly update format. It is infinite times better than the stupid weekly updates where we get left in the dark and people are scared to buy anything because it might be free the next week.
