  • I know, that Atlus said that PSN version of Persona 4 Arena is locked as well, but to be honest I doubt it. The lock on the disc was made using the same region lock that is used on Blu Ray Movies. Since it’s downloadable content, in theory it should work on any system as long as you are able to purchase and download it from PSN in the first place (for example you can’t see the movies in US PSStore when logged in from Europe, but if you manage to use a proxy and download them, you can watch them). If anyone would be able to really check if it’s working or not, it would be highly appreciated.

  • Please Add Jackass The Game on PS2 Classic :D

  • So the European PS Blog just announced today that Aliens: Colonial Marines is coming to their PS STORE and will be available to download at a 20% discount for PS+ members.

When can we expect to partake in this amazing deal on the NA Store do you think?

  • I thought that the PS All Stars Battle Royale level would be free as well.

  • Hi Morgan,

Any chance we might see Tomba 2, the PS1 classic, coming to PS Vita in the not-too-near future? I’d really like to play it – especially after having beaten the first Tomba off of the PSN already. ^o^

Aside from that, I’m very happy with this week’s update! There’s quite a lot of good indie developer content that was released. Like Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken (w/ co-op), Closure, and Derrick the Death Fin! The new All-Stars Battle Royale Kat + Emmett Graves Characters and LittleBigPlanet Valentine’s Day Costume + Level Kit DLC is really amazing too! I’ve been really waiting patiently for those DLCs to come out – and the wait is finally over! On top of everything else already, I’ll definitely be checking out the other All-Stars Battle Royale DLC for sure! That and Persona 4 Arena is looking to be pretty sweeeeeeeeet! I think I’ll jump on that deal too! :P

I have to say, there’s been so many good deals these past 2 weeks, especially on the Final Fantasy and Twisted Metal franchises! I swear by the end of this month, my wallet is going to be empty from all of this shopping! :P

Anyways, I can’t wait to see what’s in-store at Sony’s New York press announcement on the 20th!

  • Please Sony do make a discount or even price drop for GOD Of War 1.2 Collection or uncharted 1.2.
and for GOD of War ascension and The last of us we need it on Playstation Store.

  • Am I the only that does not see Kat and Emmett available for download on the store? Also where are the Chinese New Year costumes for Littlebigplanet Vita?

  • ^please ignore previous comment, although they were incredibly difficult to locate.

  • closure for free YES! sooo glad i decided not to purchase this game last month. cant wait to try the whole game, any change Limbo will be free for plus!? … i like the price drop for the alien breed trilogy!

  • Please add “WIld Arms: Alter Code F” to PSN! I would love to have this game in my downloaded library!

  • @ Vilens #205~206

I usually just check out the “What’s New” part of the PS3’s PSN Store each week and scroll through it to find the new content that I’m interested in. It’s a lot easier than searching by each game individually (at least, with this new store layout anyways) on the PS3. I might add too, it’s now even easier to use Sony’s new Web Store in your favorite internet browser to find the content that you’re looking for. Here’s a direct link to their “Games > Discover > All New Releases” section (with a search filter based on addons only): https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/all-new-releases/cid=STORE-MSF77008-ALLNEWRELEASES|game_content_type~addons|

The All-Stars Battle Royale Kat and Emmett Characters and LittleBigPlanet Valentine’s Day Costume and Level Kit DLC should be located on the third or fourth page of Sony’s Web Store. The LittleBigPlanet Chinese New Year Costumes DLC should be located around there somewhere as well.

    I hope that helps! ^o^

  • i’d love to see a yu-gi-oh game on PS vita!

  • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World The Game any word when Online Multiplayer + Wallace pack is coming man I would really like finish game with DLC trophies most of the Scott pilgrim fans waited 2 1/2 years see DLC at PSN store…please release it and thank you.

  • I had sent a message to a Konami rep about the Yu Gi Oh game coming to the Vita and I was told that they will be announcing something soon. If I knew more, I would gladly let you know, but this is all that I have at this time.

  • Comon people Wifi Psvita, 32gb memory card, travel case 300$ really cheap ebay .
Run the voice and Get this crap out of my hands…

  • wow love how my american psn account is still blocked on here from posting , even though I had been told it wasn’t. will be calling corporate headquarters about this today.

  • This update sucks, the pricing mistakes and illegally charging peoples accounts and the general crappy ps plus games. deplorable, you all should be ashamed of yourselves.

  • Give everyone a full real ps3 game as compensation and not just those that had their money stolen from them by you. I can see the lawsuits rolling in and your stock dropping. due to lack of trust.

  • Remember it was I that gave you the info on the psn hackers, long before your security team had any clue what was going on. I should be the community manager, not you. you have failed at your duties Morgan. Failed horribly.

  • Now that’s quite a good update, options for eveyone.
This time I’ll pick Catherine, I would pick up Persona 4 Arena too, but it took too long to appear on the PS Store, so I got on retail, it’s a shame. I was thinking of getting these Skyrim DLCs, but even with the discount they are WAY too expensive. At leas this week plus free game looks cool.
On to the requests: I know it’s not PS who decides that, but why you don’t ask Atlus to put Persona 4 on the PS2 Classics? With Golden and Arena here, it would be nice for the fans to remember the old days.
And again I’ll be here asking for more free themes/avatars on PS Plus, yeah, you can call me cliche, but it’s a shame we lost those over time.

  • Its nice to get Closure for free hopefully it will be a good game that I would like. I do think though that we are getting a lot of puzzle games. Why cant we get a racing game like Need for Speed the Run?

Hopefully next week we will get two great games added I am getting disappointing in some of these games that are joining in the IGC. I feel like some of these games that are added dont cater to the majority of users.

  • I own a Vita, but not a PS3. Is there any way to Valkyria Chronicles 2 onto my Vita via a PC? Thanks in advance!

  • Same thing happend to with Alien Breed. When will you guys give us our refund?

  • Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s downloading. Yea!

  • It’s a colossal disappointment that Aliens: Colonial Marines is not on the store. Can’t express enough as to just how disappointed I am. Unbelievably disappointing. One more time: DISAPPOINTED :/

  • @ INFILTRATOR187 #216~219

If “lack of trust” was really an issue after everything that has happened to Sony’s reputation since last year (or from the year’s past), then you and I – along with a lot of other people out there – probably wouldn’t still be supporting them. Obviously though, Sony is still a very proud, reputable, and albeit, also very large international company all-in-all, despite all that has happened to them and their consumers in the past.

  • In all honesty, when it comes to small mistakes like these on the PSN store, it doesn’t really matter too much since Sony will most likely fix whatever problem they started in the first place (after all, their reputation depends on it). More than likely though, the main cause of the mistakes are being caused by the newer systems that they’ve recently been implementing and transitioning in to (e.x. with the new PSN store). Of course, needless to say, sometimes there might be some human errors thrown in there as well (e.x. with mistypes in the blog post). However, this is all to be expected from a consumer-standpoint. Applications will always have new bugs to fix, especially if the said application is constantly being updated. In the end though, what it really comes down to is more just a matter of making sure the application in question is mostly stable and doing its job the way it’s suppose to by functioning properly for us – preferably, with as little intervention from Sony and the consumer as possible. Obviously, we’re still in the early stages of Sony’s new developments after all the rework that Sony has being doing to their company since late last year. Don’t get too uptight about it, it’s not such a big deal.

  • On a side note, I might add, I don’t think people really bother to notice [or give credit] to just how well Sony has actually handled the really bad situations that they’ve been in since last year’s downturn of events (especially after recovering from their massive losses in finances). I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty happy with what Sony has given to us despite all the tragic things that have happened (even though we’re not paying much, if anything at all for their extra services). I’m pretty content with the direction Sony is heading right now. Good things are coming in 2013! ^_^

  • Hello guys the playstation blog!

Do not know where to ask this but I would like you to help me.
I am Brazilian and I have a U.S. account and I’m trying to add money through pay-pal, I enter the paypal and add the amount of $ 50 and then when I paid the following message appears “There may be a delay in processing the transaction.” And when I look at my account was not added money, you blog has any idea what is happening to me? Has anyone tried to add money through paypal?

  • i strongly dislike that the level for ps all stars costs me 1.99 for one trophy. wish it was free.

  • lol i changed my mind about Aliens:Colonial after i saw that 4.5 rating smh after so many years,i will pre order crysis 3 instead with that money

  • @ Morgan Haro Will there be a new discount for the game Test Drive Ferrari at some point?

    Thanks.

  • speeking of playstation all stars. U also need to make the online matches a little longer. Seriously it takes almost as long to load the match as it takes to fight it.

  • where is wwe wrestlefest!!!!!!!!

  • Omg, P4A is region locked. Luckily I tried to play the trial first. You should gives a warning about these region thing. Im sure Im not the only non US that has been using the US psn store.

Region lock : the sophisticated way to be racist.

  • Am I the only one who can’t access the Valentine’s Day Minipack for LittleBigPlanet 2?

  • Persona 4 Arena is cheaper digital than at the Amazon. Great game , one of the best fighting games ever made. So much depth to it.

  • Wow…! I can’t believe that my first ever comment here, in 4 years, is a complaint. FAIL. Ok, so when the PS Store was updating (I presume) 4 Dynamic themes were listed as free. I clicked download to see what they looked like as, apparently, previews are too much to ask now. And what do I get, $12+ of unknown charges, WITHOUT MY CONSENT !! as I wasn’t asked to confirm the “purchase”. Refund me.

There’s already too much going on in my life for me to have to strugle with a multinational. C’mon…

  • Hey Gang, im here reporting the same problem here. I was in the PS Store and saw ALIEN BREED listed as FREE, and i clicked to download it, then i heard a the noise come from my PC Speakers letting me know I just received mail on AOL. When i opened it, it said, “Thank you for your purchase.” Then it listed ALIEN BREED and the price of, $7.99

If I knew it wasn’t FREE, i wouldnt have bothered with it and moved on, I only downloaded it because it said FREE. So please add my name too the PS Member list who bought something that WAS lsited FREE, too only get a PAID BILL FOR $7.99, and CREDIt my account back.

I’m glad and your lucky I had my PC speakers turned ON, because if they were turned OFF, I would have clicked on every single game that said FREE to Download. And woulda been miserable getting an inbox of paid bills for games thought free.

I’v e also been seeing a lot of posts that MANY PEOPLE had a feeling it was a huge error on SONY’s part, so they went and downloaded every single game listed as FREE, because according to them, there is NO WAY SONY is going to REMOVE those games from our PS3’s. They cant do it!

for sony’s sake, i hope its not true, causse they lost a lot of $$

  • datzwutshesaid!

  • Yesterday and today, I searched through the store for:

•Valentine’s Day Minipack (Free) – Flowers and a box of chocolates for Valentine’s day? What a cop out. Why not make your loved one a special romantic level for them to play through? You can even put flowers and chocolates in it if you get this pack.

I can’t find it! It’s not in the add-ons, it doesn’t come up when I search “LittleBigPlanet” OR “Valentine” OR “Minipack.” It doesn’t come up under FREE.

I can’t find it ANYWHERE. What am I missing? Can you clarify how to access this minipack before it disappears?

    Thanks ^_^

  • I want my money back for the games “free” charged for. When you will give my money back ???

  • morgan, could u please let me know if u spend a set amount of money on the psn store do u still get a portion of that back the following month?im ready to spend just got my ps plus renewed for a year and 6 months.and I also purchased the red gow playstation 3 bundle.cant wait til march 12th.thx in advance.

  • New store layout sucks. Bring back the old layout

  • Dear PSN team,

Wow, thanks for bringing back the Speed and Adrenaline track packs for MS:PR! I really appreciate it!

  • @242 bunnyonthego

I couldn’t find it either. So I suspected the Vita version contained the download for both Vita and PS3, and I was right. Download the Vita version on your PS3 and you’ll get the PS3 version too.

  • Why does the usa always get all the older full ps3 games free like darksiders that you can go and pickup for cheap at a game store, while the eu store get newer higher priced games like sleeping dogs?

  • How much longer is King of Fighters on sale? Weekly?

  • I have a bit of an unrelated topic. I already have Playstation plus on my main account. I wanted to purchase PS Plus EU for a sub account. My question is.. Is it possible to have PS Plus EU and PS PLus US on one PS3, but using different accounts.

And btw is there a way to change which account is considered the main account on your PS3??
