This week PlayStation Plus continues the piping hot delivery of updates to keep you warm this December. Last week, you took the plunge into the underwater world of Rapture with BioShock 2 joining the Instant Game Collection. This week, you’ll be busting out your shoryukens and controlling gravity with two great games: Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and Rochard!

I have been a plus subscriber since a month after it started i have got great value out of it that being said it is getting ridiculous with what NA is getting compared to EU is getting i was hoping this month might be better and we could say we got the better update instead we get screwed again this is getting to the point where i will not renew until NA plus can compare with the EU plus offerings with most of the community posting how bad this is you guys seem to not care at all either do something or lose a very loyal customer!
not a big fighter guy.. but, I’ve watched the little trailer fo Rochard multiple times since it was first released.
either way EU does seem to be getting some better games more recently, but I seriously have so much backlog that it doesn’t matter. the service is great regardless.
just purchase and add to the download list. play it when you wanna play it.. just because it comes out today doesn’t mean you have to drop everything and play it right away..
I mean play it and then forget it.. want to play it again? come on back to it.. it’s that simple really.
@301: I’m pretty sure the answer is no. Have fun downloading the entire SSFIVAE game if you want the update. Did I see somewhere that it’s 18gb? ;)

Man, I just have to add, how good we have it. Must suck to be on Xbox and have to pay $60/year just to play online.
Still cannot believe we are getting all these games for a cheap $50 and there’s still another 6 months of content on the way!
I cannot complain, been more than happy with what I’ve gotten from PS+, the first month’s content alone is worth 3x the subscription price IMO.

@209 If I recall correctly, Trine 2 was available back for PS+ awhile ago… because I grabbed it up and got the platinum and I know I didn’t pay for it.
that being said, some games you gotta grab up because they do remove the titles. but, I’m almost certain at one time Trine 2 was offered for free on PS+
Again… compare this to competitor people (Xbox) you pay $60 on there for 0 (ZERO) free games except maybe a SPONSOR (awful) game every 6+ Months.
CANNOT believe parents would pay for little kiddies PS+ for them to complain.

Morgan stop lying saying “I think you’ll see we have a lot to offer to compete with EU”, I don’t even know why I believed you. When I heard that there was gonna be two games, I thought we’d get at least get 1 good game but nope, both stinkers. You seriously think this compares to Arkham City or Vanquish? Heck EU is getting Big Sky Infinity, a brand new PSN game. EU’s games are just so much more quality, and much more recent.
If we already have SSF4 will we be able to just download the Arcade Edition add on for free?

To the people worried about the 18gb download – that does totally suck (I’m not thrilled about it), but you can always get the download started tonight by getting the Timed Trial download, and then just “buy” the game when it goes free tomorrow. As far as I’m aware, that should work fine.
Wow! Only 4 replies by Morgan this time around. He usually does better than that. Even if it’s just to tell us to “wait till next week (or next month), it’ll be awesome!”
I know there are a lot of newer PS+ subscribers since the IGC started but those of us that were around before then are wondering if we’ll ever get the kind of content we did before the IGC.
I really miss those PSOne classics, free themes, the occasional avatar and PS Minis. Are we really never going to get those again?
As far as fighting games go, I liked them back in the day (41 year old gamer, here) but my reflexes and eyesight is not up to those kind of games anymore. Action/Adventure, RPG and some FPS are my games of choice nowadays.

I didn’t understand why everyone though the PS+ was better in Europe until I actually looked at the three games they got ; Batman Arkham City, Vanguish, and Limbo. I’m really confused as why they get all these year old games and we are stuck with SSFIV:AE and Rochard. I’m not complaining but could anyone clarify why PS+ is different in Europe and the US?
If there’s a way I can get EU plus I’m definitely going to do so. Lately US plus has just been pretty sucky.
wowowowowow ANOTHER fighting game. Sony continues to troll it’s North American customers while Europe recives great stuff every week. I’ve been a huge Sony fan all the way back to the original PS1, but I’m really starting to hope Microsoft kicks your azz next gen.
