  • Between Mass Effect 2 being in the upcoming ME trilogy and the fact Saints Row 2 not even having trophies you’d think those two games would be much much cheaper. If this is the big sale that the podcast mentioned its pretty lame. The halloween sale beats this sale by a long shot.

  • Thank you for the deals , but no thank you

  • Considering there is no indication of where they are getting their pricing info from for the total value and given the fact that that part of it does not affect ANYONE at all then it seems silly that anyone would moan and complain about the total value. It’s not like that price determines if you’re going to buy it or not since you’re not even going to be charged that amount.

The only part that matters is the sale price, is it a good price to you? If so then buy it. If not then move on. No need for anyone to repeatedly complain about something, especially when it has no relevance at all (again referring to the total value amount).

Honestly, you probably will get better deals on a physical copy than you could practically get on a digital copy, since the stores are going to want to move those copies so they stop taking up inventory space for that they could use for more profitable merchandise.

Sales like this are best for those who are unlucky enough to not have the game they want available at any location in their area and don’t want to wait to order it online.

If I didn’t have the CEs of ME2 and Deus Ex, or any copy of them at all, then I’d probably take advantage of it.

  • Does spending the money we received for the October promotion go towards the $60?

  • might be just me but that doesn’t look like 73%.

  • The ME Trilogy Collection that’s coming out will only include the DLC that originally shipped with ME2 for the PS3. It will not include the Arrival story DLC, nor the weapons/armor packs, which this ME2 ultimate bundle seems to include. I say it’s a good deal.

  • Deus Ex Human Revolution, please and thank you. Great sale!

  • @55 You might want to read it again, it says “Up to 73%”. You’re not the only one to do that though, saw someone on the first page that did it too.

  • hurry up with the store update plz ;’)

  • @ ProfessorAnatil

considering they take the price indication on the PSN store. if you look at the homefront game. first when you buy the game it come with the online pass so they cant charge me twice for it. then there’s only 3 dlc availble for homefront and total for 3 pack = 8.97$ and the game on the store is 19.99$. but they mention that it worth “Total Value of the Game with all DLC (Paid & Free): $58.95” so why are you there to excuses their bad simple math addition?? are you getting paid by sony to backstab peoples simple logic?

i dont want to fight but, dont you have anything else to say except complaining about peoples complaining?!
i mean they cant even do simple mathematic addition.
now you deffending them… anyway… im not gonna buy anything of this.

btw mass effect 1 is gonna be 15$ on PSN this 6th december since you asked.

  • Looks like I gotta pick up a new Vita memory card along with a $20 so I can get in on these awesome Vita PS+ games.!

  • and… i still want to be able to sort my 150+ psn games by ALPHABETICAL ORDER!
something i never been able to do.

  • Why is the “$10 back deal” starting tomorrow? I would like to download about $105 worth of games tonight when the PSN updates.

And as some constructive feedback, the actual sales are pretty bad. Most of these games are much cheaper at retail even with the PS+ discount. I really want to go all digital, but this makes it very hard to give up disks.

    • It starts Nov 20. Today :) So you can feel free to download all the stuff you want.

“Purchase anything on PSN from November 20th through November 26th”

  • First off let me just say that I really love psplus service but lately over the last couple of months i think its safe to
    say we are being cheated.

Why do i say this?My fellow sony heads,Ive done some digging and the playing field is uneven between .eu and .us these kids are getting triple A titles why we get the scraps. Not at all saying that what we have in our libray is garbage but check this out.

    .eu
    deus ex
    reddead redemption
    bulletstorm
    deadspace 2
    crysis2 with all dlc
    burnout paridise
    alice madness returns

    .us
    payday the heist
    ratchet clank a41
    infamous2
    resident evil

They also have EVERY game we already have if we stand for nothing we fall for anything.Ps plus for vita lineup
stands pretty even but why?Because we dont have that many games for vita so we had to keep that aspect of ps plus vita equal.

The last guy who asked this question was told (thats just how it is).But thats not a good answer because if we Play,Create,Share together then sony needs to tear down this wall of differrence,we all pay the same price for a very robust service,so if the price is the same why not the games.

  • are there going to be more discounts for Thanksgiving/black friday or is this the last? i’m thinking about purchasing PSN cards while i pick up PS All stars.

  • #64 listen to the playstation blog cast it might answer your question. although i pretty much agree with you a little but in a way i’m still pretty pleased with PS+ US

  • Is this the PSN Black Friday sale we were told yesterday that we would hear about today? or is this just a different sale thats going on at the same time? I wondered cause it stated yesterday that in the black friday sale that psn plus members would get a higher amount off of the Black Friday sale. I am hoping you will tell us there is a lot more than just these 9 games that are gonna be on the sale.

  • I think these Ultimate deals are great but ……….. Sony should also consider having sales on just the games for people that don’t want / or like the DLC. And should also have only DLC sales for these games for people who already own these titles and don’t have the DLC for them yet. Once again Sony is only thinking about them self and their pockets.

  • @ProfessorAnatil i have to provide no proof honestly the earth is round not flat its as easy to look up stuff and calculate urself if u buy a product not saying i really know if these r black friday deals or not after i said that i dont think they are lol

Red Faction Armageddon game $19.99 i prefer gamestop $8.99 since it is guaranteed to work at that price and u do not get a physical disk so automatically its worth less

    .99 add on
    .99 add on
4.99 add on (with disc if bought new)
    6.99 add on

and unless the store is wrong that is all and adds up to

    $33.95 full price digital
$22.95 used (again game is guaranteed to work)

and i think the disc game comes with a code if its new for the 4.99 add on

soo $28.96 for new disc copy

not $43.95 unless im missing online pass but i dont think it needs one plus not showing on store

and if my math is wrong cause it doesnt show on the store tell me then sony lol

it is a savings but not by as much as they say lol

  • Hey Kristine, sorry, forgot to flip my desk calendar today! :-p

  • @Kristine Steimer

how god did you guyz come up to “Total Value of the Game with all DLC (Paid & Free): $58.95″ for the game homefront.
    i really want to know.

  • Aw, I was hoping Deus Ex would be a free Plus game. Will still think about it, thanks. Another get $ back promo so soon? Great!!!

  • I already own every single one of those games.

Please start doing discounts on DLC more regularly again!!!

I would buy a ton of DLC, some for those games if you ever dropped the price a bit (15$ for a couple hours of play, for example, is way overpriced for me).

Some good deals there for people without the games already though.

  • @60 Thanks for the info on ME1, last thing I really saw on it was something stating that it was still coming out on 11/6 when the trilogy did on 360, which obviously didn’t happen.

As far as the other bit, I’m not trying to argue, I’m not a Sony employee, though sometimes I think that’d be cool but that’s neither here nor there. I just keep seeing people complain about every little thing on here at the drop of a hat, but there’s a lot of people involved and no system is perfect so accidents, mistakes, etc. are going to happen and I understand that. There just seems to be a lot of people here who expect machine like precision with 100% absolute accuracy all the time and that’s not going to happen no matter how many checks and balances are in place for any given system.

Hopefully they fix the mistake about Homefront (and RF:A – see below) on the post to correct that, total cost of game and all DLC individually is $38.95. They probably should have just left out the total value since it’s only the sale price that will determine if a person buys it or not.

  • @69 I don’t recall there being an online pass for that game but I don’t remember for sure.

Honestly, I’m thinking that it’s just a typo, possibly the same thing with Homefront, RF:A is off by $10, 4 instead of a 3, Homefront is off by $20, 5 instead of a 3. Either someone wrote this late at night or in a big rush. Hopefully they get it corrected, though it will make the sale prices look worse than they are, as far as the percentage off goes.

  • Just out of curiousity, why bother putting up discounts for Plus users on games that have been given out “free” recently?

Wouldn’t it make more sense to put things like Saint’s Row 2 and Warhammer DLC up in a DLC bundle for plus users to buy since we already have the full game free so why spend 15-30 to get the bundles offered…

  • Hello. Does the “spend 60$ on PSN” thing include purchasing a subscription for ps+ with PSN? By that I don’t mean using a code to unlock PSN, but buying ps+ “directly” through the PSN which I think is possible by using the ps3. “You can also purchase PlayStation®Plus access on the PlayStation®Store on your PS3™.”

  • Well crud, I just spent $50 on PSN last night. Oh well I can probably find something else to buy for the $60 promotion. :)

  • update the store now plz

  • It’s a bit late but I’m very glad to see that these Ultimate Editions have been released.

Unfortunately, I already have the Blu-ray disc versions of Red Faction: Armageddon, Deus Ex: HR, and Mass Effect 2 plus all of their DLC. Orherwise, I would have purchased the Ultimate Editions in a heartbeat.

In the future, please make every effort to release these PS3 Ultimate Editions much sooner after the final pieces of DLC have been released for these types of games.

  • @ ProfessorAnatil

i know what you mean, but “i” and many peoples here could do a 100x times better job than them. just buy looking at the store before posting to see if the blog.post i wrote is price accurate. they just added 9 games, nine its nothing. They dint think about that last night, they had an entire week before posting these prices.

they ARE lazy. THEY dont care. but WE care, WE pay, WE PLAY! WE MAKE playstation HYPES what it is!
bro i have 2 playstation 3D TV monitor 24″, 3 playstation 3 (one for me and one for each my sons) 1 playstation soundbar, 10 ps3 controller, 1 move, 2 pseye, 138 ps3 retail games in 110% perfect condition, just my account worth more than 2000$ 150+ psn games (not even counting the money i put in my sons accounts)

and yes playstation network is a very, very, very lazy team. they always have to get kick in the butt before acting togheter.

im not talking about devloppers they are the real thing! but they have no control over the price on the store so we have to reliate to lazy peops.

  • @boomstickbhg

exactly, all peoples who already downloaded the “free” warhammer and saint row 2 cant buy the bundle anymore.

    make irrelevant for ps+

  • @53 I know I’m kind of late but people should complain if they don’t think the price is low enough. It’s a way to get your voice heard. Telling people to not say anything is more of a negative then a positive.

  • This is really cool.
It would be even cooler for the ones that we already have the games to get a special deal just on the DLC, I feel most of this promos are just with the new users in mind, but the ones that we’ve been around for longer get left aside.
Hopefully you take this into consideration.

  • I’m a bit off-topic here about another “Ultimate Collection” coming out today. I mean I love you guys at Sony, but I am ticked off ROYAL….right now, and I’ve never said that on this blog, or come here to complain. DOOM Ultimate Classic Collection releasing today on PSN.

I bought DOOM 3:BFG Edition for $40 ($36) because it included DOOM 1 and DOOM 2. I didn’t care about DOOM 3, and I REALLY wished DOOM 3 BFG Edition was actually a complete collection of the series and included Final DOOM. iD was even asked directly on this blog whether or not they planned on releasing the classic DOOMs on PSN Now, just a couple weeks later DOOM Ultimate Classic Collection releases, with the only games for which I bought BFG, AND it has the game I regretted BFG didn’t include, AND…..on top of that, it’s less than half the price!!!!!

I NEVER would have paid $36 for BFG if I had even a hint that DOOM Ultimate Classic Collection. I would have saved over 20 BUCKS!! and could have got something like Unfinished Swan or saved for WrestleFest or Guardians of Middle Earth. This is so wrong.

  • @Darth-Krayt

    because they are lazy.

  • @83 I wasn’t talking about the complaining about the sale price, I was talking about the total value amount, a number which means absolutely nothing in determining if a person is going to buy the bundle or not, or at least it shouldn’t anyways. I wholeheartedly believe the sale prices are perfectly fair game since those actually matter.

Personally I would like to see some other bundles as well, though I’m sure some of these have been done before, just can’t remember right now. But I would like to see a Persona bundle and a Final Fantasy bundle. I know the Persona games are still on sale, or permanent price change, don’t remember if it was just a sale or a permanent price drop.

I do think DLC bundles would be a great idea, even if they were full price that’d at least make buying the DLC for NISA games a bit easier lol.

  • Man when the going to put vita discount or bundles I already have all those games man…and I think there cheaper at GameStop .

  • Actually I heard there was a NISA sale going on this week too. It’s going to change on a weekly basis or something. Check the NISA website.

  • Kristine, thanks for the reply on Alice’s pricing. Guess it’s not as much of a sale as it could have been but it’s still a solid buy at $15.99 so I’ll be picking it up finally.

  • Actually I’ll just post this http://www.nisamerica.com/index.php?nav=n&article=pbomb/PrinnyBomb_Vol274.html I’m on my ps3 posting this so I dunno how well the link will work.

  • I would love to buy more product on PSN but I have to pick & choose b/c my ISP has instituted bandwidth caps now…
I know i’m not the only one but it really hinders me from everything Ps3 digitally… Netflix, Hulu, Laugh Factory, Crackle, Amazon Prime and all the great content on PSN.
It’s crazy that I have to decide b/w downloading a 2-5Gb game or watching a few shows. Seriously, I have made a spreadsheet for my family to keep track of our bandwidth…it’s too much.

Sony get together with others (netflix, hulu, etc) and pull some strings or people will have to stop somewhere…for me Hulu will be the first to go

  • LOL. I’ll just buy these games off of Amazon and buy the DLC and save a lot more. Thanks, but no thanks.

  • When does the Music Unlimited offer expire? Was wondering if I could use my December waller voucher towards that 1 yr subscription.

  • i own 5 of the 9 games, but none of the DLC for any, will the DLC be discounted alone or do i need the bundle?

  • I love PS+, but there’s a glaring flaw with the service – inconsistency. Different regions are being offered different games for free, thus changing the value of the service depending on where you live. Also, the biggest problem is something else that others have pointed out as well; sometimes Plus offers certain games at a discount, but then shortly after this offer, these same games have become free on Plus.

Due to this having happened before, subscribers are cautious to purchase discounted games or DLC because of the possibility of a better offer happening down the line.

Please consider these issues for the future. Thanks.

  • When you did the spend $100 get $20 for October, you said that any games pre-ordered before October that came out in October counted towards the $100. Is this the case here? As in, does pre-ordering PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale last Tuesday count towards the $60 because it comes out today?

  • These deals are neat, but you need to coordinate them with the Instant Game Collection.

Warhammer was free on Plus not too long ago so a discounted “all the DLC” pack would make more sense(or do both).

Also you’ll have tons of angry people if any of these end up in the IGC in the near future again(Like what happened with Borderlands).

  • Can we see more of these deals next tuesday. Because I don’t get pay intill next week. and can we see HBO GO app come to the xmb can you please help me out with this thanks.

  • im looking at black friday sale at ebgames and look at that! max payne 3 for 19.99$,
borderland 2 for 39.99$ batman 2 for 19.99$, sleeping dog for 29.99$, Assassin creed 3 49.99$, Dishonored 39.99$ devil may cry classic 19.99$. all these games are on the psn store as well. dont tell me they cant catch up sale like that?! oh yes i forgot… we have the worst lazy team working for us.
