this made my day right here i took a break from ps3 and comeback to this!!! i already own lbp2, ratchet and clank all for one and i just got infamous2 a week ago but the other games are great!! i love free stuff

I was watching the E3 conference and I s— my pants when the PS+ update was revealed. I had PS+ for a month when I purchased the ‘Uncharted 3’ console bundle, but I did not renew it at the time. Tomorrow, I will be stopping by my local BestBuy to pick up a year of PS+!

For the people who bought some of these games during the Ultimate Edition deal; I can understand your frustration when some of the titles are now available for free; however, you have the Ultimate Edition of a great game, and also, do not look at it as a waste of money, there will be new games coming every month. I personally think this update is great for people who might not have a lot of money to spend on games, instead you can pay 50 dollars for a year of fun-filled gaming experiences. Let us embrace that.

I have a question. I did not see an answer to it when I browsed through the pages. How often are you guys updating these games? Is it a 12 game rotation every month, are some games staying longer than a month, and are some games even going to be up for a shorter period than a month? It would be a bummer if one forgot to download a game due to time optimism. :-)

Wowee thanks Sony!!! <3 This month's free line up is just incredible. One question though, I just downloaded the infamous 2 game, and under the description it says expires in 145 days and can only be played for 60 minutes. Is that just an error i should ignore? I'm a 100% sure I clicked the full game under the 'free psn plus games' menu. Well I'm gonna dive in into the game so i guess i'll find out soon :/

You’ll continue to have the games on your system after your 3 months of PS+ expire. But you won’t be able to play them unless you’re a PS+ member. So yes, if you download Infamous 2, when your PS+ subscription expires then you won’t have access to Infamous 2 anymore.

But instead of going out to buy Infamous 2 (even when it becomes a Greatest Hit, it’ll still be $19.99), you can just spend another $17.99 to get 3 more months of PS+ and have access to that PLUS everything else members get.

Sorry, I’m still confused about something.

I’m a PS+ Member, I download Just Cause 2 for free, and I play it. A month from now, Just Cause 2 is rotated out and some other game takes it’s spot. Can I still play JC2 for free? What if I delete JC2 to make room for some other game-can I redownload it after the month is over for free, or at that point would I have to pay to download it? This month, Virtua Fighter is free, but next month it will be replaced by something else. If I DON’T download it this month, do i lose that chance to play it for free? Or am I completely misunderstanding and is the library of free games added to, not replaced?

  once downloaded, you can continue to play any title you’ve received from Plus, as long as you’re a subscriber.

im 18 ive been playing sony ever since I was for never realy lilked any other systems sony has always satisfied my gaming needs and now they just went one step futher with playstation plaus coming out with grade A games.
and with this years E3 so looking forward for ”Book of Spells” the Playstation eye and the move is geting more people involved with gaming id love to work for playstation “hint hint” if any reads this but sony please keep it up as of now this is medlin14 going back into the world of playstion

if you download it its in your downloads and as long as you have plus you can play it but if u dont download it then i dont know the may leave it they may not well have to find out

Why isn’t this on every gaming blog like Kotaku, or game trailers, even reddit? This is an amazing deal and I didn’t even know till today. I’m super excited to have playstation plus and stoked to play these games but Sony, you guys need clear and simple marketing.

Hi, I’m kinda new to all of this Plus thing, so I would like to ask you something I didn’t read in comments already. I will buy the 1 year subscription, and these games WILL rotate, right? You mentioned early this was like Netflix, so I assume these games will always be available to download, even after one year from now, or while the Instant Game Collection is available.

What I mean to ask you is, do I NEED to download all the games I want while they last or will I be able to download them whenever I need, because I only have a 160GB PS3, so I’m assuming I’ll run out of space sometime.

  if you’re concerned about space; simply start the download and cancel it. as long as the Store recognizes that you’ve started the download, you can come back to it and download it again, as long as you’re a subscriber and even if that game has already rotated out.

Wait, is this promotion is eligible for Asia too? I’ve already subscribed only because of this, and what I get is only free awesomenaut game. Is there any chance for me to get a refund, because all of those ‘free’ games are the only reasons why I subscribed to PS+. Thanks a lot!

Hello everyone ! I’m from Portugal and today I bought for the very 1st time one subscription of the Playstation Plus (3 months) and now i’m downloading everything that i deserve :D
I’m really excited. Sony and Playstation are really the best ! Online free and PS+ with a huge collection of good games ;)

Sounds to good to be true but these damn things expire so there not fully ours unless Sony makes a Lifetime PS plus subscription. shame i only bought a 3 month card. So i rather win the games collect as many trophies as i can and get rid of em yeah that sounds good.

Infamous 2 is showing up as a 60 minute trial. Tried a second time doing it but not working. I think the trial is messing with what should be the Plus game download.

I had just purchased just cause 2 Monday afternoon the 4th of june Before heading to E3 and at my return on the 8th I saw all those goodies, about 60+Gb of dowload madness being just offered by PS+.
I will confess that i was kinda upset at first but upset at me for rushing so fast to purchase a title.
Honestly Ps+ is doing great for the PS community and the mere fee I pay is really to support the Community and ensure that our network infrastructures and Updates always run smoothly.
Thank you ps+ for all your hard work + all the free perks.

You said that I keep the games as long as I am a Plus subscriber. What happen to the games if I renew my One Year Plus a month or so after expiration? e.g. Subscription expires in June 2013, but I renew in August 2013. When I come back to being Plus, will the game be back as well? Or will I lose them all?

I’ve been trying to purchase a subscription through the PSN Store for a few days now, and all I get is “error 80012032” or something like that. I can’t add anything to my wallet either. Is this because your service is broken, or because I’m Canadian? Please advise.

@honkayjeezus, the infamous 2 1 hour trail is something that was available a long time ago, you have to let the trial run out before buying the game. this also means you have to let the trial run out before getting the game for free as well, i suggest: 1 open infamous2, let the game load, quit game, wait one hour for the game to say expired, then select it, and voila!!!! it will unlock automatically.

i have had to do this to a few games that i deleted the trial and never used it, then lost out on the full game for free. namely FAR CRY 2, that still pisses me off…….. but it was my fault, too wrapped up in full games to try a 1hr trial. o well. hope this helps!

Thank god i have a 750GB HDD this instant game collection made me go out and buy PS+ today gave me a good reason to subscribe just a lot more games to add to my collection and i get more every once in awhile worth every penny i paid!! already have more value in DLC than i just paid even though i already had LBP2

This is awesome, but one thing. I don’t have enough space to download and keep these games stored, plus be able to download any future games.

If I download these, then delete them, will I be able to redownload them for free, as long as I’m a Plus member, forever? Or once it’s off the list, and off my hard drive, I can’t download it again?

To those who bought the ultimate deal of just cause 2 or infamous 2 or both, remember you keep them long after your ps+ expires also you got the dlc packs. The ones in the instant game collection does not come with dlc and you cannot keep them. This is good for people that missed the ultimate deal or couldn’t afford to buy them like me
