considering my copy of Little Big Planet 2 doesn’t work anymore, this is really cool.
@Morgan Haro can i keep those games ,say after my ps plus is expired?…if not than its not entirely for free..is it. the best thing i got from ps plus was when sony gave welcome back packages and actually let us keep the games, wish that offer still standed.
you guy did not just put infamous 2 for free.fml i just bought that game a few hour ago with that ultimate deal and u guy just release it for free.now i feel stupid for buying it.
While I think it’s cool that you’re offering up 12 games, I agree with the others that it was really lame that you put some of these games on sale last week. Surely you knew the games you were putting on sale were going to be free the following week!
does anybody knows how long it takes to download little big planet 2?
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@nobodies-hero I feel your pain I just broke down and got InFAMOUS 2 last week when it was on sale, being as I have Plat InFAMOUS and had Festival of Blood one and wanted to play InFAMOUS 2 1st, just to find out if I would of waited a week I could of had it free.
Nice we get other games like I own LBP 1 never gotten around to play it yet, got it for free as part of my free game when system came back on after that hack, so adding LBP2 to my collection would be nice, but I just wish I would of known about this, could of spent the money on different game and still got InFAMOUS free this week.
I’m very happy to see that Infamous 2 & Warhammer 40K: Space Marine are part of this list of free games.
Here are some games I’d like to see included in a future list:
Crysis 2
Red Faction: Armageddon
Red Faction: Guerilla
Killzone 3
Resistance 2 and 3
I was hoping to hear an announcement that PS Plus would be extended to PS Vita games & DLC.
Anyhow, keep up the great work with PS Plus, Morgan Haro.
What kind of underhanded sales tactics is Sony implementing here?
JC2 and Infamous 2 were put on sale last week for PS+ members and this week they are FREE for PS+ members?
So, Sony knowingly ripped off it’s subscribers – am I getting this correct?
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong but right now, Sony looks like it’s ripping off the very people that are actually subscribing to PS+.
Other than the ridiculously suspicious timing of that sale last week and the coincidence of some games being free this week, I am excited to see Warhammer 40,000 and Zombie Apocalypse for free.
First, this is an unbelievable deal. Have gotten PS+ from the get go. Always thought it was worth it, but this is a major step forward in game quality. Despite owning a lot of games I am still getting access to 9 new games from this bundle. A number of these games have always been on my list to check out when I get caught up in playing what I have. My wife was also excited to try out the Ratchet game which is great because there are very few she will try.
Second, I sympathize with those that bought a bundle just before this. I almost bought the Just Cause 2 bundle on Sunday night and then talked myself out of it. Not that it was a bad deal, just would have been annoying if it was free two days later.
Anyway, this is a great deal and thank you for a great service (and if you fix the issue of putting something on sale then very shortly after making it free everyone will be ecstatic).
can i get a god damn refund for infamous 2 like seriously
While I certainly applaud the move to make these games free for PS+ members, I feel burned by the shady decision to put some of these games on a one-week sale… one-week before giving them away for free. That is just questionable business practice that breaks my trust as a consumer.
I just bought inFamous 2 and Just Cause 2 because of the limited time sale. Guess you fooled me! Well done?
Yes, I get the DLC, but honestly, I didn’t care at all about that stuff. If they’d said, hey you can buy these games now with all the DLC for 50% off or wait a week and get the base game without the DLC for free, there’s no question I would have waited a week.
And while, yes, I will still have them if my PS+ expires, since I have been a PS+ member for a long time already and intend to continue being so for a long time to come, I will likely have gotten everything I want to get out of them long before that would become an issue. So it’s a bit of a moot point.
Wanna give them away free? Awesome! But don’t put them on sale one week earlier unless you just want to piss off the people who gave you money in order to please the people who didn’t.
Hey this is pretty cool. I mean I already own a lot of those, but it’s still nice. At least I don’t have to get the disks out now.
I was just told that with these 11 games, you CANNOT EARN ANY TROPHIES, IS THIS TRUE?
IF SO, WHY?
you can earn trophies in any of the free content that supports trophies.
