  • @33 I’m with you dude, this is unacceptable, especially considering this is Sony, the masters of Audio/Video. I thought maybe it was some doofus who didn’t know how to work a mixing board at first, but this is clearly amateur hour at E3 this year. and really, wtf was with the PSBlog guys last night??? Rey looked like a fruity Billie Joe Armstrong (hard to imagine Billie Joe as MORE fruity, but Rey pulled it off!), Jeff looked like a nervous weatherman being interviewed, and Sid looked like the homeless illegitimate child of Michael Keaton. aside from Beyond, Last Of Us, and the PS+ announcements, this was a fairly lackluster experience. it’s not like I expect prizes online for watching or anything of the sorts, but if the masters are going to broadcast their grand event, they had better broadcast properly and not let Rey’s “Beat It” jacket steal the show again.

  • @ Andy Burt ok thank you for the official response. I hope it was given to provide clarification, and not because I said I was going to write an article about this. I won’t so long as it improves but if this continues I can’t not do so. I love Sony I do and this is the biggest gaming event of the year for the US. Just how many issues it really makes this whole thing look bad ><

  • Alright!! It started!

  • BLUExEYED-SLICKT

Don’t tell me yesterday was IT the E3 main woola? Please say it isn’t so. That was hardly nothing in hardware news or vita or ps3 price drops I mean WTF sony? Is the E3 over as in was yesterday the E3 where you all talk on everything new and stuff? Last year was a ton of stuff and exciting and long and this year if yesterday was it then OMG that was terrible news. Only a FEW things were exciting a very FEW.

  • 11# Okey 25% psvita and 75% ps3. Or 25%vita,16%ps3/vita and 59% PS3.

  • BLUExEYED-SLICKT

Also I thought they said that the 12 plus games are available NOW like yesterday and Its not on the store at all even now. I’m lost lmao.

  • let me ask, how many times can “The Last of Us” trailer be started (I heard it started over 10 times, sometimes as frequently as within 5 seconds) but there was ZERO video to it?….delays my arse…this is streaming failure 101…test your equipment, and make sure you have a mixing tech who knows his 5h!7…

  • BLUExEYED-SLICKT

Like everyone in here said where is the vita games NOW not next year, where is news on ps1 and all minis working on vita after E3, where is the news of a vita and its memory sticks price drop and ps3 price drop after E3 I mean what in the world here man? Is the plus 12 free games the only exciting thing you have? I mean why have E3’s and hype stuff that we can”t even touch till next year or the end of this year it makes no sense. You release news of a new vita bundle but no price point and say it was be available at the end of the year I mean what about NOW not the end of the year. Wow I’m stupid to think yesterday wasn’t the man E3 get together and talk about everything it was yesterday huh? Dam* that sucks man. It really does.

  • @48, the show floor footage are remote cameras. Of course that should run smoothly as nothing is happening- all these 4x static cams are meant to record the floor of the show. They’re not part of the production that involves the interviews. I didn’t get to see the trailer; I hope they fix it. Even so, don’t be so hard on these problems since considering the costs (as they’re aren’t any commercials to fund this project), I can’t think of too many instances where a live broadcast of this kind has gone on w/ out snags.

  • the volume sucks.

  • BLUExEYED-SLICKT

Oh and all PSP games working on ps vita to. I mean where is the news guys where is the support? This is shocking in a very bad way.

  • @51, dagimp- really that’s rude. Link us your Facebook page so we can rage at what you look like.

  • MP_is_for_Chumps

Oh i’m watching now on my PS3 and the feed SUCKS.

Why cant you guys broadcast in HD?

  • will there be co-op and if so can someone play as ellie.. and will there be some kind of MP??

  • Oh my god you complainers are UNREAL.

  • @ShiranaiJittai

With the comments you make I’m sure your article will be very professional and well thought out.

    NOT!

Can tots in pull-ups be ‘journalists’ now?, geez, what a tool.

  • I missed the PlayStation Pulse Elite headset :( OH well I just hope they have it pre recorded.

    Chris

  • StAr_KiLlEr_409k

i hope they have all there e3 videos on the psn store that way i can actually watch it correctly just hoping that everything is all there

  • I’m trying the niconico app on my Vita now; the stream is pretty choppy, but I guess it’s not overly surprising. (When I first tried things out, the “Sony” stream I went on to seemed to be the one for the Japanese market; but I figured out which one was which eventually.)

Still, worst comes to worst, I can always wait to download whichever clips I’d be more interested in anyway, so thanks for that in advance!

Oh, will there be an interview with anyone from Atlus USA during the week? It would be great to hear more about the upcoming releases for Persona 4 Golden and Persona 4 Arena; both of which have been given freshly-minted E3 trailers as of late.

  • @66 Please by all means continue I don’t care what you say about me. I am well aware that I reacted poorly I did so due to my passion for the industry, and the fact that a live event was being botched so horribly. This is their company their reputation at stake. Had I thought that silently standing by and saying nothing, and letting it resolve itself would work I wouldn’t have said anything. Note how I got an official comment mere minutes after saying that. I was just typing out some of the errors that had happened, and in the middle of my typing a heard a last of us trailer start/stop/start/stop/start/stop. It hurt as a journalist in the industry, and as a fan. I reacted far more excessively then I actually felt to show Sony just how important the situation was to resolve. Again I care not what you think of me I just want to explain myself as I myself think I went a bit overboard. As long as the problems don’t continue excessively there will be no need to write the article. Plenty of great stuff is going to be written too. News is news though.

  • @66 continued To be perfectly honest I am quite surprised with how I acted as I am generally the calm patient one in a group of people. Videogames are my life and passion though, and Playstation is my racehorse so to speak so it just really bugged me, and I couldn’t understand how this many issues could…and still are >< happening. I comment to give notice to it. People need to be aware it definitely matters. It is unfortunate yes, but the facts are what they are. I got an official response and have since somewhat calmed down. Still disappointed but I can see straight again.

  • You could have shown Sports Champions In Action beind demonstrated u know

  • @ShiranaiJittai

I appreciate your response and your decorum.

It was just an observation. If you do plan on being a journalist in the future I would suggest not threatening negative publicity; especially prematurely. If you are a true journalist you know that there is more responsibility in what you say/write then a random joe like me on a comment board.

As a real journalist, everything you say and comment on reflects on your character and work, weather passionately or casually. You can separate the fanboy from the professional and still have passion for your work.

  • Looking forward to Sports Champions 2! Better brush up on my archery skills :) Bowling and boxing look pretty fun too

  • lol, whether….i hate no edits.

  • They were late like this last year, not surprised it’s happening again :( Luckily they will probably upload all of these interviews at once later in the week.

  • @70, we all get heated when we’re passionate about something. But as you’ve stated, that’s not how you normally are. Some users here rant like they have to fit the word limit on every post. Very few look back & take a breather. I’m still having issues, but the feed looks to be settling down now.

  • I really, REALLY do not understand how Sony is consistently behind on their schedule. And as if being behind isn’t good enough, they aren’t even attempting to keep things at pace. Every single stream has had a longer delay between.

  • I saw Portal 2 in the big reel after The Last Of Us, when will we see more of that?

  • Jeff
What is the deal with Counterstrike? there has been nothing mentioned at all… Were are you Valve?

  • did i miss the last of us ??

  • @78, that’s some unannounced DLC. Looking forward to that as well! I highly doubt there will be new footage as Valve isn’t at the show, I think.

  • No Counterstrike? when are we going to hear about it?

  • Ok, so I’m just wondering, when I log into the PSN store, it says watch the E3 Playstation coverage, download the App now! Well I looked in the Apps section and nothing is there for E3! What gives? Do you have more than one App section I’m not aware of?

  • Ok, so I’m just wondering, when I log into the PSN store, it says watch the E3 Playstation coverage, download the App now! Well I looked in the Apps section and nothing is there for E3! What gives? Do you have more than one App section I’m not aware of???

  • @82, hrm, perhaps the store is in the middle of updating w/ new content? Oh & thanks for letting us know about the app; that’s def. news to me.

  • Don’t remember all of these tech difficulties last year. But then again, I was there and wasn’t having to rely on this footage and interview. You guys should visit the Home booth! :)

  • Took long enough. Holy crap, Sony, what’s going on?

  • That Dust 514 interview is going great; very informative & sounding bloody exciting!

  • Lol just saw a guy dressed up as Sly and someone dressed as Sweet Tooth in the background

  • HURRY!

  • ThreeLeggedFreak

    @27

Not bummed out, but when Sony spends 3 minutes on Vita and then 30 minutes on wonderbook, when they know the sales of Vita are subpar, that sends a very clear and loud message that they have given up on it.

  • So I just heard that you can get a beta key from dust 514 space in PS Home, but I can’t find it! Anyone know how to get to it?

  • @86 Yeah I can definitely saw I learned a lot and am a lot more interested in the game. I’m gonna try to get into the beta from Playstation home. First 10,000 hurry!

  • They DO know that they’re broadcasting their “off air” conversation, right?

    “I LOST MY BLACKBERRY!”

  • GOOD GOD!!! Look at this dude’s eyes!!!! “hero derp”

  • @89, Wonderbook is new tech. It took longer than expected because of a bug or maybe that lady had the jitters? Idk, additionally, having signed on JK of Harry Potter fame is a big deal. Her novels & the films have grossed a ton of profit. Other authors have signed on. It may be targeted toward kids but nevertheless, it deserved the spotlight along side the PS3 & the Vita.

Given up? A bundle is being released w/ Ubisoft’s most valued franchise in October. Many have claimed that Ubisoft was the star of E3 this year, & you’re spouting nonsense that Sony’s ‘given up’… are you a gamer confused?

  • Live stream, huh? Apparently not.

  • “PLEASE NOTE: Schedule is subject to change.”

    Damage-Control time, eh?

How about this: How about you get someone behind the feed who actually KNOWS what he/she is doing, eh? This is, sadly, the most embarrassing live-stream I’ve ever seen.

  • Hey PlayStation it went back to the beginning why?
