  • #98 I did my research.Been following it for over a year now.Back when they were saying it would do ps1,ps2,and could do low end ps3 games. And that’s what they were going to do.They even talked about doing the umd transfers like in Japan.I was really excited about it coming out.Was going to be first in line for one.But it seems like people only remember the last month worth of history when they trashed all the good ideas. They could already do these thing they don’t because of new sells reasons.I think we as consumers have a right to be disappointed in a lesser product then what was originally presented. One day I’ll still get a vita when it does what the long term research said it would. I’m not mad just disappointed.

  • There’s so many games from PS2 id love to see coming to PS3, a lot i wasnt able to get. Like Valkyrie Profile 2, FFDirge of Cerberus, Persona, Hack, Xenosaga. God, just to many, to bad most of em, if not all the ones id like will never make it to ps3 :(.

  • Sport games have been getting kinda lame for me. The genre is not really bringing anything new to the table. Instead of coming out with a new game every year, how about changing the roster’s? If it’s a money issue, charge us for a season pass like all of these other money suckers are doing. $20 season pass changes the stats on the player’s/team’s, with that $20 add a DLC every 2 months, different game modes, equipment. And make it seem like the season pass is a great deal for $20 and make $40 worth of content for that year.
I would like it that way better, that way I’m not spending $60 for an unfinished game.

  • Dear. Sony, you really, really need to be showing more respect to VITA owners.
Either you care or don’t…make it clear get more PSP game support untill you can get games out.
Don’t make me feel like I bought a PSPGO!
What happens when someone hacks this and people are sick of waiting for you to put games they would buy over the PSN?
At least get what worked on my PSPGO working on the VITA.
I know it’s just game ID’s being blocked from transfer at this point for digital PSP games.
    LOVE

  • sorry if comments bouble posted things were messing up for some reasion.

  • Wtf? This is a truly lame week. How about more ps2 classics and avatars?

  • I would love to see.. “Star Ocean: Till the end of Time” on PSN as a PS2 Classic.

  • Avatars we want on the store:
    -More final fantasy avatars
    -Dragon ball z avatars
-WWII games avatars like birds of steel
    -More resident evil avatars
    -MK avatars
    -GOW avatars
    -Mass Effect avatars
    -Dragon age avatars
    -Sonic avatars
    -Star Wars avatars
    -Lord of the rings avatars

  • @Major_Hoare

Got Unit 13 on March 6th… I’m highly disappointed in the fact that there’s no real multiplayer and no single player story. It’s extremely half-assed in the sense that the developers re-used the same maps for single player over and over. It’s a rushed game. I wish I didn’t buy it. Now, I’m just using it for trophies.

  • So when is the PSP version of FF VII and FF VIII going to be playable on the vita?

  • Been watching for a long time now and am starting to wonder if NA will ever see PS1 and PS2 classics. Legend of the Dragoon is your own property and has been on PSN in Japan since 2010 and the line-up of PS2 games on PSN is dismal. I’d sink $20 each no questions asked for a PSN release of Legends of Norrath I & II. With no backwards compatibility and no software emulation on PS3, the only alternative is to shell out cash for a no-longer-in-production PS2 and have to switch back and forth between consoles.

Cash in hand waiting for some good classics. Will be spending zero of my dollars in the meantime.

  • Champions* of Norrath lol, epic fail. Had Legend of the Dragoon on the brain.

  • I hope there is gonna be some additional stuff this week but, I am stoked over Ghost Recon Future Soldier Beta !!

  • I really don’t appreciate being told the vita will play ps one games soon, and now that launch is over theres no timeline. I seriously halved my portable game collection by trading in my psp. How bout an update on that?

  • Sup with this drop, seriously lacking… Also, what’s the word on the compatibility of them mini titles (from being a + member) for Vita, Skype app and that alarm clock I heard about?
    Great work nonetheless.

  • ahh it looks that there is nothing for me this week :(

  • Hello!!

i want to live in a world where the PSN has Legend of Dragoon in it.

    And games like:

    Xenosaga1,2,3
    Valkyrie Profile 2
    Rogue Galaxy
    Dark Cloud 1,2

Thank you Sony, now you have some work to do! :)

Ah, and i want the vita to play psOne, Ps2, and all PSP games too!!! That will make it a super great system.

    Later!!

  • I say we bombard them with backwards compatibility isuues on the vita till they give in
, I seriously hope the vita doesn t get funneled down the same path the psp go went, bad enough theres no peacewalker compatibilty just so they can sell us the hd Version. If I wanted to get jacked consumerwise I would have bought an xbox… sheesh. P.s. diablo ftw

  • There is a lot of stuff that can be added for weak weeks like these, at least make it look like you all are trying.
How about releasing apps, they are already made, just give the programmer a little money to format their apps to the PS3/Vita.
Avatars is not a major work load either, take some random pics of selected games, shrink them to icon size and sell them. If it is that much work, i would gladly produce over 100 avatars within a week, I’ll even take $0.01 per avatar sold.
PSP Downloads for the Vita, you guys have the technology. Run a game through the machine to format it, You guys could even release 5 games a week and people would be happy.
Playstation Home items, might not be as easy, but this is what you guys do, so it should be a breeze. Make about 5-10 new items a week.
And the Internet Broswer, change it… throw Google some money for the rights to Chrome or something. If there was a top 10 browsers survey, the Playstation Browser wouldn’t even close to peak on that list. I would even use the Wii’s Opera Browser or the X-Box’s Bing over the PS Browser. FIX IT!!!
… All we ask is make it look like you guys are improving things, even on slow game weeks/months.

  • Awfully small… Hardly consider it an update.

How about some epic PSone Classics like Legend of Dragoon, Ehrgeiz, Brave Fencer Musashi…??

  • Where is the Doctor Who game? I thought it was supposed to come out this month or is that for a UK release?

  • No avatar of starhawk, ninja gaiden 3, unit 13, twisted metal, or battlefield 3

  • Has there ever been a week with less content ? For minute there I thought my browser wasn’t loading the page.

Going to beat the dead horse a bit more but, where are the PS1 and PS2 classics ?

As a consumer I direct this to Sony as a whole [ doubt anyone who matters will see this ] not current Vita owners :-)

I love my toys and gadgets and spending money on them [ I own a PSP 3000 & Xperiaplay R800AT } and was seriously considering the Vita but its $100.00 more than it should be. Using proprietary memory cards reek of nothing but greed and touch screen gaming in any capacity is not a good incentive to play a game and detracts enjoyment from most game play experiences. These reasons alone make me not really want to own a Vita as it is right now, then I look at the game line up and it just reaffirms it. I don’t want extensions of PS3 games I’m currently playing or have already played through. I want something new and unique to the system not rehashed games on yet another platform that really don’t offer anything new in terms of game play. So far Vita is a massive failure on every level for me.

  • I don’t understand what happened to Sony.Ps1,ps2 ps3 is the only systems I’ve ever had and needed. It was good untill ps3 backward compatibility issues. And now the vita with all it’s problems.I’m beginning to wonder if I supported the right system.Sony please listen to us so we can be proud ps gamers again.Where slowly losing all bragging rights for our system.

  • And the psp go was so bad I forgot to list it.Sony use to make good decisions until lately. They dont seem to be that worried about the people that’s buying there consoles the last several years. There so big it must be more about the money now days.

  • ummm yeah when are you going to put the rest of the psp games onto vita as well as get psone games??? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please hurry.

  • I have a question. I’m playing on ps1 games saved on my ps3 through my vita (ones received as a plus member) through remote play. I didn’t know this could be done! I thought nothing worked through remote play yet. They are the only games I can play on remote play and I was under the impression that we couldn’t play ps1 classics on the vita. I guess I don’t have a question. Just think it’s cool, and looking forward to someday playing psn games on remote play.

  • The drops suck lately and I downloaded the lastest update for Battlefield 3 today now during my story mode the screen turns white durinf certain parts of stages when I turn in certain directions.

  • I’d buy Brave Fencer Musashi!

  • This was a horrible drop. I’m hoping to see some good titles in April or else my pocket will get really full. I haven’t bought anything from the PS Store in over a month due to releases that do not interest me.

  • @ryan1701e,
Even the PSP could play PS1 games with remote play. Not good when playing Legend of Dragoon though.

  • Legend of Dragoon would be an easy game to release on the PS Store. I’m starting to wonder if there’s some secret reason why they won’t release it for the US players. Hopefully it’s because they’re waiting for LoD 2 to be announced so that they can release Legend of Dragoon in HD. Maybe I’m too optimistic…

  • Where are the psone and ps2 classics. Are they now dead?

  • Hey… I live in the Turkey. On TR PSN(SEN), all vita games are much more expensive than USA PSN. Please do something about it. It’s not fair for us to pay %30-40 much more than people in the USA.
