Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a Valentine’s Day dinner reservation with a hot, curvy and sexy little thing called the PS Vita. Enjoy this week’s historic edition of The Drop!

  • In order for the ps vita to sell well here in the North America Sony needs a commercial. Why they didn’t advertise doing the suprbowl is perplexing.A commercial broadens your scope of the product your trying to sell as well as educates your potential consumers. 1 great commercial is all it takes.

  • Is there a block on PS Vita game/system reviews? I’d like to see what reviewers are saying about some of the titles. With solid reviews I’ll be more inclined to make more than one or two purchases.

  • Great week for PSN.
I almost forgot to thanks for JAK Bundle release on PSN, I think every HD remastered game should be release on PSN… please make standard.

    For me…

    UNCHARTED: Golden Abyss (Vita, physical)

The House of the Dead III (PS3) –> maybe
Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom (PSP) –> maybe

  • No love in the comments for Worms?!?!

I’d love a Vita, but won’t have the cash to pick one up until the kids are out of college. That’s going to be a LOOOONG wait. I understand the excitement and expect a ton of news about it, but some of us are just going to skip over it for now.

But Worms – despite being panned by a lot of fans, I dearly loved both 3D Worms games on the PC, and seeing them together and refined on the PS3 ought to be epic! There was word elsewhere of a discount for Plus – any advance word on pricing and the amount of the discount? Anyone?

  • Apparently some PS Vita stuff is already being sold. I just bought Uncharted Golden Abyss and a 16gb card.

  • I know that the PS Vita is pretty proprietary about messing with storage. Will it be possible to transfer my PSP game saves to it somehow? Thanks!

  • WILL THERE BE ANY TWISTID METAL AVATARS MAYBE A DYNAMIC THEAM DLC WOULD BE GREAT I WOULD BUY THEM ALL

  • I bought Super Stardust Delta and just heard that they’re giving that game away for free with the bundle which I am buying. Gahh… contacted customer service. I hope they’ll get me a refund.

  • wait regarding the Gamesharing thing. You mean, we can have two PS3’s activated with one account and a PS VITA? Or is it just one PS Vita and one PS3? This just came into mind and will largely affect my choice on getting a PS Vita which I thought was going to be next year.

BTW Loving Final Fantasy 5 =)

will we also be able to play PS1 games on our Vitas? I would LOVE that option. So I can play a little PS1 game at a friends house instead of sitting down at home and playing it when I could be playing other things. I’ve gotten a ton of PS1 games with PS+ I have to say that that’s one of the big highlight that PS+ offers.

  • Anybody getting a Vita add me. Can’t wait till Wed First Edition is awesome.

  • Man Im REALLY Excited for the Vita, it looks like an incredible machine, but everytime i buy a BigBox at TacoBell, it says my code is either used or when i text it i dont get an answer back, pls explain this to me Rey.

  • I will note, Rey, that it’s BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend, not BlazBlue Continuum Shift II.

  • ONE MORE DAY!!! Man and I just realized that I want so many of these games..

    ….

community PS Vita giveaway going for one more week..

    pslevel.com

  • Man, I’m really pumped for this but, I’m really depressed at the same time. I had to Pre-Order my Vita online so, I get the 3G Bundle, but I have to wait until the thing ships here which will likely be after I leave for my business trip, so I won’t even be able to play it during travels. So, I Pre-Ordered it to get it early, but I’m not going to be able to play it until after everyone else has plenty of experience. I’ll be on business for two-weeks. It was the perfect excuse to have a Vita and I’m not going to have it. So you see, I get the bundle but, I won’t get to play it.

Uncharted, Super Stardust Delta and Escape Plan are my biggies. Then I guess LBP does come along till later but that’s fine. Then I’m just waiting for Warriors Lair whenever that hits too. Dang… Three days turned into three and a half weeks.

OH! QUESTION. Doesn’t the PS Vita have Guerrilla Glass protecting its screen like newer smartphones and tablets have? I always wondered that.

  • Rey, you’re the shiz, dude. I never tell ya that but I’ve made up for lost time. We’d be fallin behind if ya didn’t keep us up to date…. Are you a huge Nintendo fan by-the-way? “Not trying to stir the pot” as your former ‘Big Boss’ Peter Dillie once said. Just couldn’t help but notice the massive Tri-Force on your hand; and I’m sure its not the Trinity. Just curious. you’re the man though, dude. Nothing but respect.

  • What happened to the free farcry2 for plus uses? It’s not showing up as free.

  • When will the games be available on the ps3 psn?

  • When are the psvita games going to be up on PSN?

  • so can anyone tell me when the store will be updated today cuz its almost 9pm where i am and i want to play mass effect 3 and i was wondering are they every going to come out with the rest of the grand theft auto games for the psn store because out of all of them , i really didnt like four but thats just me
