  • Great Show.
I have a question: Why Sony is drop the ball with Vita? The bad news come every day. Memory price, UMD transfer prices, no support for old games etc. I had a chance to play with Vita, the device is great, good games, but with all this extra prices and miss information, I don’t know. Is possible to get someone to tell us why in 6 months a must have device is now a must hate device.

  • Thanks for creating a Podcast for Playstation that knows about playstation instead of it being an after thought. You’ve just let me subscribe from about 7 podcasts and clear up some room for gaming. I do have a large request and I hope I can get a response, Can you find a way to address the Xperia Play, The Playstation Suite and where these topics are in terms of the Playstation universe. I have my xperia play and recently found out that EA made 4 games free for xperia play owners but not one podcast I used to listen to, even mentioned it. So please give me an idea if I should be keeping my xperia play or if I’ll need another phone to carry with my Vita come February. Thanks.

  • also what happened to the US android App for PSN?

  • Another great Blogcast episode!

I heard about Dormilon through the first Blogcast episode, and I found him on facebook and ended up talking with him. He’s really awesome, and I was wondering if maybe you guys could have him as a guest on the show?

Thanks, and I’ll definitely be tuning in every week!

  • Enjoying the Blogcast! Good structure and I’m looking forward to the exclusives and behind the scenes information only you have access to. But I do have one small gripe. I don’t feel I can rely on your commentary and impressions in deciding which games to purchase and play. I can hear in your voices that you are choosing your words wisely so that nothing negative is said. I get why you have to do this but all games have their flaws and I need to consider the good with the bad in my game buying decision process. That’s it. Long Live Play.

    • Understandable. There are plenty of review sites to base buying decisions on, thankfully. But definitely know that anything we’re going out of our way to recommend – such as the Game of the Week, or praising a game we’ve been playing – is done totally sincerely, and I hope that you can come to trust that even if we don’t take a traditional critical angle for discussion.

    • Thanks for listening! As Nick said, we’re not here to provide independent game criticism and analysis; we do talk about what we’re playing, what’s coming to PSN, and assorted bits of news relating to PlayStation. And as Nick said, the games we talk about playing are indeed chosen by us — I picked Super Stardust HD – Solo Add-on because I love it and also because many players don’t know about Endless mode, which I recommend to every sentient being I come into contact with. Hope that helps explain what we’re trying to do. Thanks for asking your question!

  • Hey, we may not be the furthest away from you, but we are the greatest.

  • Guys Congratulations on the Podcast, both podcast are great!
I love the music on the beginning with the PS3 sound! :D
Keep it coming the good stuff! :D

  • WHAT´S THE E-MAIL TO SEND MY QUESTIONS, PLEASE!!!!!!!!

  • Gotta give props to Sid for pointing out the amazing Super Stardust HD. It was the first great PSN game and still is one of the best games available on PSN.

I make great use of the albums to separate my games by type, though I’d love to have alphabetical sorting options within those folders.

  • Okay I Lol’d at “The touch screen/pad can be infinite buttons”. That’s just what we need, more complicated controls.

Games just need to be designed with the fewer buttons in mind. Personally, I think 6 buttons is enough. There are tons of amazing games that only have two buttons: Run and Jump.

Besides, bottom corner reloading isn’t going to work when the Vita Go(possibly with a built in phone) comes out with the slide out buttons:p

  • I am loving this “Blogcast”! I don’t usually get a chance to read video game blogs, but I DO listen to a lot of podcasts. So this is perfect. You are all really interesting and entertaining. I gotta say, even though I didn’t really have an interest in Battlefield 3, this episode’s interview was very interesting. Please have more industry people on. I subscribed and happily await the next episode. AND PLEASE PLAY SOMETHING OTHER THAN SKYRIM! lol

  • With the addition of the new privacy features, why wasn’t an option to appear offline added? It seems to be a fairly standard feature when it comes to social services.

Love the show and look forward to hearing from you guys and the Beyond crew each week. I enjoy the differing formats of the two shows. Keep up the good work.
