PlayStation 3

ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection (3D Support) — ICO, a mysterious boy, has been expelled from his village to an isolated castle. Within his confines, he begins to have eerie dreams of rescuing a young princess from the evil spirits that dwell within the fortress. Blurring the lines between fantasy and reality, ICO embarks on a quest to save the princess and, along the way, discovers his own cryptic fate.

Shadow of the Colossus is a majestic journey through ancient lands to seek out and destroy gigantic mythical beasts. With your trusty horse at your side, explore the spacious lands and unearth each Colossi. Armed with your wits, plus a sword and a bow, you’ll use cunning and strategy to topple each behemoth.

Child of Eden (PS Move and 3D Support) — Child of Eden is the “multi-sensory shooter” that will send players diving into a kaleidoscopic matrix of synchronized music and mind-blowing visuals, and will usher forth yet another landmark game experience from the mind of renowned game designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi. Child of Eden thrusts you into the center of a battle to save Project Lumi, a mission to reproduce a human personality inside Eden, the archive of all human memories. As the project nears completion, the archive is invaded by an unknown virus. The player’s mission is to purify Eden of the virus in order to restore hope and peace.

Tom Clancy’s: Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy — Experience the first three of the original action-packed Splinter Cell franchise games, now digitally re-mastered in high definition and available on one Blu-ray Disc or as a PSN download bundle. Explore the conspiracy like never before with enhanced graphics that deliver a truly visceral action gaming experience. Included are Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.

FIFA Soccer 12 (Also on PSP & PS2) — FIFA Soccer 12 brings to the pitch the game-changing new Player Impact Engine, a physics engine built to deliver real-world physicality in every interaction on the pitch.All-new Precision Dribbling delivers a higher fidelity of touch on the ball for attacking players, while Tactical Defending fundamentally changes the approach to defending by placing equal importance on positioning, intercepting passes and tackling.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 — This year, Konami is determined to give global football fans a truly realistic, immersive and a delightfully playable take on the beautiful game. Creative Producer Shingo “Seabass” Takatsuka has been sourcing the desires of fans across the globe and working non-stop on marrying the digital game to the real life game so fans can get as close to the real thing. All elements have been examined – defense, offense, AI, penalties, officiating and of course, graphics!

Atelier Totori: The Adenture of Arland — The small fishing village of Alanyaon the Arland Republic’s southern border is home to the young alchemist-in-training Totooria Helmold. One day, she resolves to make the journey to Arland, become an adventurer, and explore the world beyond her hometown. She will make many friends along her journey of discovery —some new, some familiar. When her quest comes to a close, your actions over the course of the game will dictate whether she finds the answers to her questions, forge unbreakable bonds with friends, or take different paths entirely.

X-Men: Destiny — Players control the fate of one of three brand-new mutant characters forced to choose between saving humanity or ensuring its destruction. The branching storyline, penned by acclaimed Marvel writer Mike Carey, features a deep element of choice, allowing players to customize the path, powers and development of their character and to decide their role in the mutant cause alongside, or against, some of Marvel’s greatest X-Men franchise characters, such as Magneto, Cyclops, Wolverine and Gambit.

Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012 — With the world as their playground, players will explore a vast expanse of mountains and valleys with unprecedented choices in direction never before seen in a Cabela’s hunting game. Players can climb an area to get a better angle for the shot but risk being spotted, or they can take a low elevation route with poor visibility but plenty of concealment. In order to bag the trophies, players will have to avoid detection through cunning, skill, and deception.

PlayStation Network

Rochard (PSN Exclusive // Demo Available) — Rochard follows the story of the humble astro-miner John Rochard, who accidentally discovers an ancient structure hidden deep in an asteroid, thus proving mankind isn’t alone in the universe. After John finds himself stranded on the asteroid, space pirates attack the mine, and John quickly realizes there are surprising and dangerous forces at work. Using only his wits, everyday mining tools and a healthy dose of sarcasm, John must fend off the pirates, save his team and solve the mystery behind his discovery.

Resident Evil: CODE Veronica X HD (PS Plus: 50% Off)– After narrowly surviving the horrific onslaught in Raccoon City, Claire Redfield now seeks clues in search of her missing brother, Chris. To her horror, she discovers Umbrella Corporation’s insidious activities are not isolated to the remote, mid-western city. No. Something much larger is going on here. Flesh-eating zombies and horrific beasts haunt Claire’s every move. Just how far does this twisted conspiracy extend? What is Umbrella Corporation really up to? And who is behind this biotech terror? The answer lies within.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 — For the first time in the history of this award-winning sports franchise, players are able to step onto the hallowed grounds of Augusta National, experience the rich history and tradition of the Masters Tournament and begin their own journey to capture the most sought-after prize in professional golf — the Green Jacket.

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair — Featuring the classic fast paced 2D, side scrolling action the series is known for, fan favorite vampire hunters from across the series will join forces to return Dracula, the Lord of Darkness, to his eternal slumber. Designed by the legendary producer of the Castlevania series, Koji Igarashi, Castlevania Harmony of Despair allows up to six friends to play together via online co-op story mode or see who the best vampire hunter is in Survival Mode, which challenges players to fend off their friends while fighting for their very survival.

Mercury Hg (Demo Available) — The ‘Mercury Blob’ is still as mesmerizing as ever, moving uniquely under player control, changing color in order to progress through the level and dividing if cut by a protruding surface. While this dissection is important to solve puzzles, the real test of a player’s skill is the ability to navigate strategically through varying types of slippery objects and sticky tiles with the use of balance and momentum in order to get to the finish line with their blob fully intact. A scoring system with full online leaderboard support adds a competitive touch to an already engrossing single-player experience.

    Castlevania, YOUR MINE !!

  • Much better list than last week.

Maybe one thing that bothers me is I’d like to get my hand on most of those games, but i only have enough for one. Oh well.

  • Resident Evil Code Veronica is cool

What about RE Zero and the Resident Evil Remake!!!!

  • Payday! The Heist

  • This is awesome cause you get to play this classic titles!

  • omfg castlevania is coming out and puppet didn’t even leave a comment?!#! wtf!

  • I just watched all my friends get kicked from PSN, shortly followed by myself. Now I can’t sign back in.

Is it really down again? Really??

  • @wastelanddan, same thing happen to me!!!

  • Really weird…I’m back on. But that was FAR from normal…

  • Glad to see Harmony of Despair coming. Might cut out that muppet.. I mean puppet guys constant whining for it.

  • LoL, at least I can still watch Netflix smoothly on the wii…..>_>

  • I can’t believe no one has posted that the beta for battlefield 3 has been left off… Anyway forth set at don’t know, the closed beta for medal of honor c/e starts on Tuesday with the open beta beginning on Thursday the 29th.

  • Ugh, what! The battlefield 3 beta starts on Tuesday for medal of honor owners and Thursday for everyone else… Fail on my part.

  • @64 shooter fans go first…makes sense. What am I missing?

  • @ Pockey321 #26 man cant agree more, Legend of Dragoon definitely a top 3 off all time. please remaster in HD its, such and underrated game

  • Good to see a substantial update. They’ve been kinda thin lately.

X-Men Destiny snuck up on me! I’ll have to pick it up later, my pennies have already gone to pre-ordering Batman: Arkham City and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

  • Had Atelier Totori: The Adenture of Arland on pre oreder looking forward to that, also will buy Resident EvilCVX couldn’t care less about Tom Clancy’s: Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy will wait for a black friday $20 drop in price.

  • @wastelandDan I messed up my first post, but I corrected it. I am a bit confused on what you are saying…

  • I Love just about everything about the playstation blog, but i can agree with the majority of the people here that are upset with Rey. To me, it’s never really seemed as though he cares very much about his job, I mean he has Zelda tattoos that are pretty evident, I’m not saying it’s a crime against Sony or anything, but it’s pretty clear that if he could work at Nintendo, he probably would; not to mention the fact that if anyone noticed during the E3 coverage when he was interviewing game developers, the majority of the time he was just holding the mic for them and staring off into space, making it pretty clear that he didn’t care about anything they were saying…
But yeah, sorry to Rant like that about the bad taste in my mouth any time i see a Rey post.
But on a positive note, One more week and we all get Blessed with Payday: The Heist!!!!

  • and in response to wastelanddan, It’s pretty easy to had smooth streaming on the wii, when all you’re getting is a crappy SD image.
And no, the psn isn’t down, if you’re having difficulties, that happens from time to time on ALLLLLLL of the game consoles, so get over it.

  • have****

  • Oh my! So disappointed to know ICO & SotC won’t be getting a digital release! :( Why so? I thought all SCE-published games were going that way!

  • Wow! I didn’t know that Harmony of Despair was coming to PSN at all. I was so jealous of my buddy Jordan when I came over one day and he was running around as Alucard on a NEW CASTLEVANIA!!!!!!! Easily in my top 5 series of all time. So thats gonna have to be a day one purchase for me.

Idk about u guys but I’m seriously goin broke over here with all these games… Dropped $230 two weeks ago when Resistance 3, Dead Island, Space Marine and the Playstation Surroundsound Headset all dropped on the same day..

So in the next month I’ll have to come up with cash for ICO/SoC, Dark Souls (!!!), Batman, and probably two others that I’m not thinking of… I wonder what X-men will be like… gonna have to reserve that at the library and check it out when I get a chance.

Can’t wait to pick up Castlevania! Ok, gonna go try to burn thru Deus Ex as fast as possible lol

  • Pretty nice drop this week!

  • I’m glad Harmony of Despair is coming out so now PS3-only players can also be disappointed by it.

  • Maybe now people will stop complaining about Castlevania on PSN now

  • Big week upcoming! Battlefield Beta is going to consume all my time this week maybe next week too. Now I think about it, next week is going to be even bigger, Rage, NBA Jam: On Fire Edition, Payday: The Heist, Deus Ex: Human Revolution DLC, and Dark Souls all release on Oct. 4th. Maybe I’ll check out the demos this week, but every second that passes brings me closer to playing my second most anticipated game this year (Battlefield 3) and cuts down on the wait time til the release of my number 1 (Uncharted 3)

  • I hope you don’t pull something like last week and take back Castlevania HD. Finally, geez.

  • Ico/Shadow ALL MINE!

    MY PRECIOUSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Whoa, is this post for real? LoL

Go ahead remove the Castlevania game. I can wait few more days, lmao

  • About damn time we got Harmony of Despair i hope to wake up tomorrow and know it is coming this Tuesday since I’m tired of waiting for this game.

    Let the Vampire Hunting Begin!!

  • Gonna be getting Ico & SotC collection! Can’t wait!

  • Now all HOD waiters will have to complain about is what a crummy game it is. You’ll see. It happened to me on Brink and about 10 others I paid retail for this year so at least you’re getting off easy at 5-10 dollars, or however much it costs. The fact remains that a crummy game is even crummier when delayed.

  • It’s “Atelier Totori ~The Adventurer of Arland”

  • I would like the ICO Collection..

How long will RE4 and Veronica be 50% off? I hate being short on money..

And Dark Souls is next weeks drop! It better be #1.

  • I hear these complaints about HOD. I have not played it, but im a huge Castlevania fan. S.OT.N being my all time favorite. I hope they are wrong. Im so looking forward to this game.

  • @86, the 50% discounts, usualy last 1 week.

  • I have to say X-men Destiny interests me but I haven’t heard much buzz about it.

  • Gotta love the 0 replies after the week that we were promised 2 of the most requested games for PSN. WTF happened to them they coming any time soon or do you just like waving candy in front of kids then slapping them in the face?

  • I don´t know but after the games removed last week, i think that the other game that everybody wants (Castlevania HoD) will be removed by tuesday, with Sony you never know…

  • FIFA 12 and Castlevania! Woot!!

  • i got the Castlevania Harmony of Despair on 360 and i wasnt to happy with the 20 minutes time limit on the stages whats up with that anyways i always wanted to know??????????

  • As a 60GB owner I love SotC very much! I still play it, I cant wait to get the PS3 version to show off my trophies! I have never played ICO, but heard very great things.. Man PlayStation! I love you so much!

  • why would playstation put up some nintendo RE evil knockoff games on psn nintendo steals all there games from other systems and then renames them so they can make money..after the 64 nintendo became a joke

  • Looking forward to ICO collection. Not getting it anytime soon, gonna hold out for that one for the holidays.

  • time to add funds to my wallet. about time castlevania hd gets released. also would really like to see a demo of xmen destiny.

  • And nothing for psp users…

On the ps3 side its nice will be buying SotC/Ico Collection, but im still disappointed us psp users are barely getting anything in these psn updates.
